Cala Galdana is lovely and so is cala mitjana, around a 40 minute walk along a trail. The beaches are great and the location is wonderful and really beautiful. The restaurants are nice, Francesca is definitely recommended. The pool was also lovely, clean and lively, with a bar and restaurant and we were provided with pool towels too. The aircon was definitely needed and easy to use once the balcony door sensor was shut!! Decent breakfast with lots of options, just need some more vegan options (although the milk alternatives were great!!) The staff were really kind and helpful, especially Manuel, with lots of recommendations and always smiling. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel so getting around the island was very easy and convenient and the buses are cheap also.
We believe it wasn't very good value for money and that the photos big it up a little bit. In hindsight I probably wouldn't have payed as much as we did, you are definitely paying for the good location rather than the hotel. We also felt the room didn't look much like the pictures. There were 3 cockroaches in our room throughout the stay, we believe they come in under the door from the corridor. We trapped one under a glass and informed reception and a cleaner came to get it, but picked up the glass and promptly lost it, then pretended to catch it and walked out. An hour later it was obviously back and we had to catch it again - and it was around 11 at night at this point. The receptionist dealt with it this time and was very apologetic and helpful, the staff as we said are really lovely, however when paying £1100 for just 5 nights you really don't expect to be dealing with cockroaches! It is a hot island of course but we were on the 5th floor so it does make you worry a little about cleanliness.
Overall we did enjoy the stay but wouldn't have payed as much as we did for it.

amazing location, pool and buffet breakfast!
The hotel itself was great but honestly the rooms could really use an upgrade. beds were not the most comfortable and air cons were very dirty leading to all of us getting a bit sick

Very good location. Flexible handling of issues.
Pool wasn't heated and therefore practically unusable.

Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable
Unfortunately the apartments are above the bars so a little noisy at night if you have young children but the reception staff immediately found us an alternative room which was perfect. The choice of meat on the buffet was not great quality some nights but there was a very large selection of dishes to choose from. It's a shame the pool isn't heated as too cold to swim when we were there.

The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel had a nice family-like vibe with most of the guests being a bit older. The shower was nice and big.
The beds are uncomfortable and squeaky. The bed sheets were dirty after being replaced. The curtains didn't block the light well enough. The food was good but could be more diverse at times. The amenities were very outdated. The swimming pool was only 80 cm deep and very cold.

-the location of the hotel, the beach and walking trails nearby
-the variety of food
-the staff overall were friendly
-size of the pool
-soundproofing was non existing. We can hear other guests chatting through the walls, also people walking in the hallway.
-the mosquitoes on the island, can be disturbing they bite a lot
-limited working tv channels
-wi-fi wasn't great , randomly stopped few times
-some of staff in the breakfast/dinning area rushing us like cleaning the table and put next couple while you away to choose your desserts. Saying no sorry and offering you another table instead. Not a relaxing atmosphere you will expect on holiday.
-missing food labelling, also no allergy information

Very nice location.
The beach is beautiful - but not usable after heavy rain! Rooms a bit old, could use an upgrade. Hotel was otherwise nice in general.

Location of a hotel is perfect - cca 3 minutes walk to the beach; beautiful view from the room; excelent breakfast and dinner - huge selection, everything fresh and tasty (if you have an opportunity to book a room with both breakfasts and dinners, definitely do that!)

We liked virtually everything. The service, the food and the facilities were all very good.
The wasn't anything we didn't like.
10.0 / 10.0
We were accommodate in the main hotel building, the room was little bit smaller than we expected, but most of our time we spent out of hotel (on beach, travelling etc.). The breakfast and dinners were perfect, great choice for everybody - lot of meats and the meals without them as well and so many sweets :-D :-) The staff was very very nice and helpful :-) The hotel has a little fitness room, but very good equipped (unfortunatelly there is no air-condition, so it was little bit like workout in sauna).

Good selection of food, buy the half-board if it is an option, very good value
2 single beds pushed together to make a double

located near the beach
hotel in need of love and attention and overly expensive for what they offer
corridors cramped with dirty carpets and lifts are awful and dirty
rooms don’t have a see view but pool view and the canal
rooms facing the pool and a stage with nightly entertainment until 23.00 making it impossible to relax or sleep
rooms are small and bathrooms cramped only with shower cubicles and needing retouching, shower cubicle dirty around edges
breakfast is a lot and cheap coffee tastes awful
