Launch your boat at one of several ramps about 15 minutes away, including Buncombe Creek Marina. Please contact us if you plan to bring a boat so we can arrange parking. The home is an original 1980's log cabin. The barn has been completely updated. This property has been set up for the perfect weekend out of town for family and friends.
The nearest store is a Dollar General, about a five minute drive. The nearest Walmart is located in Madill. There are a variety of small town USA restaurants close. Don't feel like making breakfast? This was the perfect place for our 4 generation family vacation! Easy, beautiful beach access down our own personal path from the house! Took 1 minute to walk down! Quiet neighborhood! We couldnt have asked for a more beautiful, accommodation for our getaway!

The proximity to the shore was excellent. Just a short walk. It is sandy and a bit of a hill, but easy to get to the beach. The beach is a soft sand without rocks, which made it great to bring our boat close and go barefoot. The beds were comfortable and clean and the AC works great!! I loved having 2 full size refrigerators (one in the main house and one in the barn). Neighbors were very nice and hospitable. We lived every minute.

The property fit our needs to a tee. The main cabin was the place to eat meals and have a competitive Bingo game and the out building was where the kids had fun with snacks and soft drinks. The lake was higher than normal so the beach was not as large as shown on the maps. The neighbors' dogs were do friendly and nice to our two dogs. Communication was prompt. This will stay on our list of repeat possibilities for future Christmases in June.

We booked this resort for our family and it was the perfect stay. The host Sarah was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire trip!

This was an amazing experience and get away for Christmas! The property manager sent text and stayed in touch making sure we had everything we needed. The houses were very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that made it difficult was two of our family members are elderly and the couches are low and not easy for them to get up and down in. There are no recliners so they sat on the hard kitchen chairs for both days. Other than that this was the best experience we could have asked for!

Ideal setting for a peaceful family gathering, the younger grandkids fell in love with the sandy beach area and spent hours playing in the waves and digging up clams. We enjoyed smores one evening on the lovely back deck.

We really enjoyed our time here. This property has walking access to a really great sand beach which sets it apart from the other mud beaches on the lake. The game room in the second building was really nice on some hot summer afternoons where we enjoyed the air conditioning but still had a lot of space. Because the main house is an A-frame, there are some quirks especially on the upper floor where you are in the peak of the A frame. This was a great place for a family gathering. This is not a luxurious property, but it served our needs very well.

We had 3 families with kids and the space was great. The kitchen is a little small for all the people we had but we made do. The walk down to the water was beautiful but the beach was hot and we didn’t bring an umbrella or EZ up so it would’ve been nice if they had one on the property to use! Overall we had a great time and the interaction with the manager was very easy!

Smooth process from beginning to end and great communication with the host. Great location with a short walk to the large sandy beach. Outdoor area of the house was the absolute best. Very large multi level deck with a huge table that was big enough for all of us to enjoy the surroundings. The house was a little smaller than expected and the rooms were small but we were outside or at the beach the whole time so that wasn’t really an issue for our group. Fantastic host and one of the best locations we’ve been to at Texoma. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a great weekend and the house was wonderful with the exception of the back door hanging up repeatedly. There’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and do their own thing. The kids enjoyed the game room as did the adults when we were able to get the kids out. The beach is amazing and not a bad walk away. We booked a striper trip with Anthony who was recommended by Sarah and he was outstanding so we enjoyed some fresh fish! We definitely hope to come back soon.

Fantastic location, fantastic house. 100% Would stay there again. There's a very friendly neighborhood dog, Snickers, who is also fantastic.

My family loved this place! With the 2 buildings, there was plenty of space to spread out and to stay occupied by changing up the atmosphere. We have younger children (4-9) and there was so much space to explore outside where we could still see them from inside, and we all adored the many dogs who came to visit and play from neighboring homes. Beds were comfy, kitchen had plenty to work with, and all in all, we can’t wait to go back again- no matter the season! Stairs in the main house are a little iffy if you babies/toddlers- but you could probably block off.
