We stayed here for a girls trip. Located close to Skykomish where there’s a coffee shop, diner, bar and deli and then Stevens Pass in the opposite direction. The house was super cozy, we had the fireplace going and used the grill one night for dinner. The hot tub, sauna and dip in the river were awesome after a day of xc skiing. Beds were comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed during the week in February and went skiing at Stevens Pass. Being able to get to Stevens Pass in 20 minutes, and then come back to a hot tub and sauna was wonderful. We loved the rustic cabin with the big comfy beds. The upstairs rooms have a pretty low ceiling clearance and steep steps, but because I'm short it fit me just right. The kitchen had everything we needed and I enjoyed having a real fireplace.

I will start by saying this property is listed as family/kid friendly. As a mom of two young kids, I would personally not bring my kids here. It wasn’t a bad property by any means! But there were certain safety things, such as very steep stairs with no handle, there were some holes in the walls or floors. While we were staying we noticed a leak and I notified the property contact and just got a “thanks for letting us know” and then while my husband and I were in the hot tub I saw a dude just walk into the house through the front door apparently to fix the leak in the attic. I freaked out for a minute because he had the door code because it was locked.
The property was clean and nice and had everything we needed, however. The hot tub was clean and perfect. Bedding was nice. Very dog friendly, so bring your fur babies!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mysty Cabin. Once you find the turn off Hwy 2, and see the sign directing you to the left, it is easy to find.
We have just a few tiny comments: Great, sharp knives!!! Best we have had in a rental in a long time.
It would be great to add a large rimmed cookie sheet and a roll of foil (super cheap at Costco) to facilitate baking and roasts. The windows open but there is no fan to ventilate, so just be aware, especially if you make bacon.
A silicon/plastic pancake flipper would help protect the non-stick pans. An oven mitt would also be helpful (the silicon pad that is there has a rip and isn't great).
We understand septic and were very careful with the drains, but the bathroom sink needs a trap cleanout.
The woodstove is a fantastic feature, but needs some help to draw properly and more seasoned wood would help as well. We loved heating with wood - so cozy.
The sauna was nice. The hottub was also enjoyed, though a few more degrees of heat would be nicer.
All in all, we found this to be a worthwhile place and would stay again, should circumstances arise.

The property manager is the true hero here. We stay here often and had some issues during a stay in August 2023... which Guin had all completely fixed and resolved by the time we were back the first week of September. Beautiful and peaceful location. Hiking is awe-inspiring in this area.

Upon check-in, a five-inch rat darted upstairs. We spent the trip hearing it in the walls and chasing it across the kitchen and master suite trying to catch it. Found old traps behind the fridge and large holes where the rat was going in and out of the hole behind the fridge and in the master suite closet. Then the toilet handle (which on previous trips had worked fine but was tough to flush) broke off in my hand and we had to start reaching into the toilet tank to flush it. The cabin was clean and Guin (the only contact we could find to report problems to) who works for (or owns?) the cleaning service that services the cabin was friendly and assured us all would be seen to. We hope so since we rent the cabin often for hiking trips and are actually due to go back in September. Love the cabin. Rodents running loose and toilet issues? Not so much love for those :(

Hot tub, sauna, river front, private- nice place

The Mysty Mountain cabin is in a fantastic location. You can hear the river but do have to walk past the tree line to see it. There are trains but we did not find them too invasive. The property itself is a cute little cabin with a nicely stocked kitchen, a great table, and a good sitting area. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a suitable size. The firewood provided for the stove is a nice touch. We did not use the hot tub or sauna but they were in great condition. Checking in and out was easy and communication from the local manager was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this little cabin!

The cabin was amazing! It had every amenity we needed and more. The property was big and perfect to hang out with friends and family. It was within driving distance to many hikes and small towns to explore. We ventured to Leavenworth for a day and it was a long day, but getting back to the cabin and using the sauna and hot tub felt amazing.
We went to the cabin in the May, but were already planning our next visit in the winter time.

We stayed at the Mysty Mountain Cabin for a ski trip to Stevens. If you are looking for a cabin with nice amenities and peace and quiet then this is a great place. Finding the property was a little difficult as the driveway blended in with all the snow but it was plowed and easy to drive. Size of the house was good for us (family of 4) but the stairway to the upstairs bedrooms was a little on the steep side. The property is very large and nicely secluded in the woods with very little traffic noise. The train that passes by was barely noticeable and the kids enjoyed watching it go by. Hot tub and sauna were great (had to google how to use sauna, might have missed it in the welcome packet). Beds were comfy, shower was hot, kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Closest grocery store is about 30 min away but well stocked if you didn’t bring enough food. Contact with host was prompt and helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Peaceful cabin in the woods
This cabin was perfect for our family getaway to the woods. The large green space, hot tub, sauna, and sounds of the river were wonderful. We loved watching the trains pass by (they weren't loud!). The cabin was well-stocked with kitchen items and towels. The town of Skykomish was lovely, and our kids enjoyed the train rides.

Lovely getaway
This is our second time staying in this cabin and we have had a wonderful time each visit. We love the location, the cozy interior, and the amenities. We will probably return again! The only feedback is that they hot tub has been pretty sandy each visit, but not too terrible.

Birthday stay
We enjoyed the hot tub, being on the river and close to snowboarding. The house was a little smaller than we pictured it but it worked fine for our small group.

Fishing break
We had a great time at Mysty Mountain. The cabin was exactly as advertised with the large yard, sauna, hot tub and the beautiful Skykomish river. Everyone had a great time relaxing and fishing. The dogs enjoyed the freedom of the large yard and waddling in the river. We did have one bit of excitement our first night. A black bear decided to look in on us as we all sat in the living room. Despite that, we still enjoyed the hot tub at night.

Good house with nice amenities
Easy access to the river, hot tub /sauna, and lots of outdoor space. interior space is minimally decorated. Kitchen is complete, though small. only 1 bathroom. be aware there is no AC in sumer and two of the bedrooms are upstairs. Overall we had a great time but feel it was a tiny be overpriced for the experience.
Pretty sure the cast iron children's hand in the main bedroom is haunted but YMMV.
Overall- we'd go again, but not in the height of summer. probably a better winter getaway.

Beautiful grounds
Beautiful grounds. The outside of cabin could use some TLC and this might help the mouse problem. Overall a cozy space with a beautiful creek and yard.

Great place to get away!
My family and I had a great time here. After our days hiking and white water rafting, we spent the evenings in the hot tub and my kids loved the frisbee golf in the yard. It was a great vacation!

Magical Mysty Mountain
Our stay was so lovely! The house is super cozy and adorable. We loved using the wood stove. The hot tub was perfect for soaking after spending the day on the slopes. The convenience of being so close to Stevens Pass was so nice! And being able to bring our dog with us was the cherry on top of it all. 10/10 can’t wait to come back. :)

Great stay
We had a great time at the cabin. Some train noise but ear plugs blocked it out. The house was clean and the hot tub was lovely. The only issue we had was the wood for the stove was wet so it was difficult to get the fire going. A great getaway in the woods.

Perfect Cabin Weekend
Mysty Mountain provided an amazing escape from the city. We loved the hot tub and the property was huge and felt very private. The location right on the river and a mile from town was perfect! We did not notice train noise that some noted. We all agreed we will be back!

relaxing location, like a mini-spa
We had a great stay here, having a hot tub and sauna, easy river access and close-by food choices made it all a relaxing and unique vacation. Only downside is the train immediately across the river--which is loud enough that it woke us with the windows closed and our white-noise sound machines running. Not sure yet if the noise will keep us away next year, but certainly something to consider depending on your sleep patterns...

Perfect and Peaceful
During all this chaos in the world this property was a delight to stay at. Small and adorable with a HUGE yard and relaxing beach.
Only downside was the sauna was broken.

The Best Cabin in the Wilderness
What a great experience! We needed a getaway during Covid and this was perfect! The cabin was comfortable even with high heat temperatures, the river was cooling, the hot tub was a great relaxing addition and we had so much privacy! We even got to get the full experience of the wilderness with a large bear walking up on our outdoor activities right on the patio! Scary but made it a memorable experience! We hope to return soon for another Mysty Mountain getaway!

Loud
Beautiful property, but there are trains going by every few hours, which kept us up at night. We were also woken up by the sound of something scurrying around between the floors above the bedroom. After 2 nights of not good rest or relaxation, we checked out a day early.

Lovely space for a wonderful get-away
We loved our time at this delightful cabin. Perfect size for our family of 4. The home was adorable and comfortable, and the surrounding meadow and nearby river provided a beautiful backdrop. The cabin had everything we needed and it was exactly the vacation we were looking for.
Only a few things to note: since it's in the mountains, the WIFI is very spotty. Don't travel here and expect to be able to get any "work from home" time. Also, there was salt, pepper and canola oil provided in the kitchen for cooking, nothing else. Not a problem at all, but helpful to know what you need to bring if you're planning on cooking at the cabin. There was a full kitchen of pots, pans, knives, etc... which was awesome.
Would definitely return!

Wonderful secluded magic!
My husband and I had a great time relaxing at this cabin! Very friendly and responsive owners who came to clean up a fallen tree on the fire pit without question. The river was a great place to clear our minds and enjoy nature. The sauna worked great and hot tub was enjoyable. I wish we could have stayed another month!

Perfect cabin!
We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was as advertised, and perfect for our group (2 couples). Large property with plenty of privacy, excellent river access, hot tub, sauna, wood burning stove, etc - this place had it all! We would love to come back in summer (and winter again)!
