Only thing remotely good about the home was the location and view.
1.0
We arrived 30 mins early and early check in wasn’t available which we understood but didn’t think it would be a big deal to let us in before then. We finally went in and right of the start you could tell the photos from the listing were extremely photoshopped because the house in person is old and not maintained well in the outside. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my dog out there to play because bushes and vines were covering most of the yard. The house was also FILLED with dog hair, counters, floors, couches, beds (pillows, sheets and bedding) it just felt extremely dirty. In the bathroom there were human hair balls in the corners, there were dirty towels. Some dishes in the upstairs kitchen were still dirty. I contacted Vacasa services to possibly get housekeeping to come out on our first day, they told us they would and never did or bothered reaching back out, on the second day I reached out again early in the morning and again they told me they would send housekeeping but no one ever showed up. It was really disappointing and unfortunate for the price we paid to stay. I’ve never stayed at a place dirtier than this.

We enjoyed how many this house could accommodate without bumping elbows. The view of the ocean was beautiful and only a few minutes of walking and we were on the beach. The yard is fenced so we could've sit out with our dog while she did her thing. We had her on a leash because we felt safer . Our dog is skiddish around others. Quite neighbors. We had 4 vehicles, parking was not a problem.

We had a wonderful stay at Pristine Pearl. The house is beautiful, especially upstairs with a view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!

This place could definitely use some TLC, and more dishes for baking. That being said, it was the perfect place to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The upstairs is very large and open, was great for gathering. Just a short walk to a beautiful beach.

We had a great birthday trip and the house was a great size for what we needed. The location is great, being 15-20 mins away from both Lincoln City and Newport.
Everything was neat and they had a bunch of extras for extra guests, such as towels, bedding and pillows.
There were a few issues however…The second bedroom on the top floor needs a new door handle BAD. We had to keep a doorstop in the jam to keep the door from fully closing. If it closed, it was nearly impossible to get it to open and ended up having to get in through the sliding glass doors (that I had luckily left unlocked) on the back deck.
The back yard was very overgrown and the fence was falling over into the bushes. The front yard had big holes under the white fence, big enough that my small dog could easily get out of the yard, so had to keep him on a leash at all times in the yard.
The Trash can was also VERY full from the passed guests, so we couldn’t fit our last bag of trash in the bin before we left. Noticed garbage trucks driving through the neighborhood so we put the bin out by the road, in hopes of possibly catching them to empty it before we left. No such luck - hopefully they got out after we left and we didn’t miss it all together. We had to leave a note for the cleaners to let them know and pre-apologize for the bag left in the kitchen. There was also no recycle bins for our cardboard so we had to leave it out as well.
Other than that, it was a very comfortable stay!

Property was located close to beach, Depot Bay, Lincoln City and Newport. Plenty of room for two families and dog.

Overall this house so much space it’s crazy but the house is very nice with a lot of movies to watch and board games me and my friends really enjoyed watching some throw back movies also we loved that it was super close to a market with groceries and walking distance to the beach

The house is 1 block from the beach. It's great when you have kids and want to get to and from the beach quickly.

Location was great, 30 second walk to the beach. House was big enough with plenty of beds to accommodate our group of 12. Beds were comfy. Only small problems: not enough coffee cups, tiles missing in kitchen, washer & dryer didnt work very well.

We rented this beach house for a celebration of friendship and the birth of a new baby vacation…Location was wonderful, house layout was wonderful, big yard, love that it had two kitchens, and the location of the store for those of us that forget things :)
Only complaint I could make was the overflowing trash can from the residents that stayed the nights prior, spit can that was found, broken flooring, and dog hair…
We are thankful for the time and memories made on this vacation and are thankful to the home owners for letting us rent their house to make these special memories.

The location to the beach is great. We enjoyed our family gathering. The upstairs view is great.
However, This house is in need of some repairs. Housekeeping needs to clean under the couches and not just the surface areas. Not enough towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. The pull couches have crumbs on the mattress and some light bulbs were out.

This house has a great location but the house was very dirty when we arrived. Cooking utensils had food still on them, the floor had lots of sand sticky stuff in the kitchen, the bunk beds had sand in them. It’s a shame because everyone had a lot of fun but the cleaning crew did not do a good job and it put a little bit of a damper on the beginning of our stay at the coast. Sorry for the negative review of a house that has lots of potential.

The open airy feeling to the kitchen/family room. The family all loved the pool table . Jsit there were hairs in the upstairs bathroom swept into a little pile but not swept up, 1 shower was out of order which we were notified by a large sign which was ok- however the 2nd shower downstairs had had the shower head installed incorrectly and it pointed toward the wall instead of out. You could get a little water out but not enough so we all had to use the upstairs shower which was a pain

This is our second time at this home. It has a great family and dog friendly layout, is a close walk to a nice beach and we had a nice time again . We appreciated the new sleeper sofa and grill. The kids always enjoy the playroom and the deck is great .
The prep of the home was not up to our usual experiences. 1 extra roll of toilet paper, 1 garbage bag, 8 bath towels for a house that sleeps 14. Several light bulbs out and not as clean as last year. The management company did get items to us on the 2nd and 3rd day after calling and texting and we did appreciate that.

Hose was ok. Met our needs. Could do with some upkeep.

The house was clean with enough room for our 13 family members and 2 dogs. Kitchen could use an extra large bowl and cookie sheets. Not enough toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags for groups that size.
The first day, one of our little dogs ate a joint butt she found in the yard. Dogs are very attracted to marijuana. It is also toxic to them and she spent 18 hours very very sick. We found another butt on the front deck. There was also a stash of 6 bags of cannibis candies in one upstairs bedroom nightstand. We had 5 small kids with us. So the yard did not feel safe for our dogs, and if the kids had found the stash it would’ve wrecked our vacay. I’m not anti-cannibis, but this was dangerous.
Hot water is set way too high.
There was no extra bedding for the sofa beds. We had to shift around bedding from other rooms, as we were using every bed available.
Positives: loved the view and the bright rooms. Second kitchen was great. We made good use of the beach trolley and chairs. Easy access to beautiful beach. Loved the large dining table.
This was our first stay at Lincoln Beach (we are usually up north) and we’d love to return. Our family is growing and we want our dogs safe, so probably not to the Pearl.

This is a very light and comfortable home. Met our expectations.
Couple of recommendations, need a new can opener. Could use a anti microbial cutting board and a cookie sheet.
Over all a great experience. Thank you.

Nice enough
Fit a large family group nicely. Only big complaint was there were no blankets for the hid-a-bed sleepers or extra blankets in the bed rooms that we could find. Plenty of pillows though.

lincoln beach long weekend
pretty nice and convenient location for the central coast. The upstairs great room with kitchen, dining, and living room surrounded by large windows is awesome. The home was clean though some pots and pans were not (I think good quality non-stick pans would prevent this in the future). The downstairs kitchen is not stocked with any dishes, silverware, or cookware - this would be good to mention on description. One downstairs bathroom has a toilet set between two walls only as far apart as the toilet itself.
We're not big people, but found that was simply not enough room.
Besides the wi-fi password, there were not any instructions for the house, e.g. how to work the fireplace. There were not enough blankets or towels provided for five guests. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and having a grocery nearby that sold fresh local crab. Having a fenced yard is great for dog lovers. Overall a nice beach house/

Beautiful place
This property is beautiful and the beds were comfortable and the tub upstairs was big enough to take a bath in! Very close to the beach and windows in the living room that you could see the ocean from.

VRBO review
The house is old and is in need of repair in some areas. Some of the things needing attention have been noted in previous reviews, but have not been addressed, such as tile falling off front of island and broken chair on deck. Lightbulbs were missing in bunk room lamps. However, the house was absolutely perfect for our needs. We loved the layout. The generous 4-dog policy was so appreciated. We were very happy there, and we will try renting it again this year. We suggest that people be forewarned of the stairs for those with handicap issues. Also a warning that the water is extremely hot just to give people a heads us. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was plenty of linens. We are already planning our return. Thank you.

Family vacation
We happened to rent the house during the uncommon occurrence of an Oregon coast snow storm. The house was not ready to occupy at checkin time, but after we got in we were pleased with the open floor design great for family. We were sad that the gas fireplace wasn’t working. The hot water temperature should probably be lowered to recommended temperature for children. Fresh coat of interior paint would make the home look loved. Overall, good value.

Loved the house it was perfect! Only a couple things that I would suggest is to check batteries in smoke detectors because the one in bedroom downstairs with the bunk beds was beeping as soon as we checked into the house and kept going off every 5 minutes the first day we got there, so had to take battery out. 2nd is add an extra garbage can outside as the one there is not big enough. I will definitely be booking this house in the future.
Thank you so much,

It was a great layout for our multigenerational family and dogs. A short walk to a nice beach. Well stocked kitchen with a few of exceptions. Pool table was well used and kids loved the Xbox. We already booked for next year.
