The house was good and the view was great but there were a few things that didn't hit the mark.
The umbrella on the patio is old, worn, and full of bugs. You couldn't open it or the excessive bugs hanging out on the deck would fall into your food.
The gas fireplace didn't work. Not a problem most of the time but on a couple of chilly nights it would have been nice.
Even though this house charges a $450 cleaning fee and a $270 service fee, you are expected to take out the trash and roll the garbage can up a 45 degree inclined driveway to the street or be charged a $75 fine for a "dump run."
Somehow a house where you are charged $500 a night for 2 people and, in my experience, a fairly high service and cleaning fee shouldn't threaten you with additional "fines" for not taking out the trash.
Overall, we liked the house. Couer d'Alene is beautiful but I just didn't like the threats of fines if I failed to do something. It just isn't necessary.

Amazing views and close to anything you wantTo do
We were spending the week hiking, biking, water skiing, swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding. This property is central to it all and really perfect for two families.
The house is beautiful and the views from the spacious deck are amazing. We spent most of our evenings on the deck talking and just soaking up the beauty.
The house is clean and has lots of extras for going to the lake or picnics. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need to make meals or eat take out.
I would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent home, fantastic view
The house was extremely well outfitted for our stay, fully supplied kitchen for anything you would want to cook, assortment of board games and movies to play. It felt like going home after venturing out verses staying in a hotel.
The property manager was very nice and accommodated the schedule changes we had as well.
Loved the experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to stay!

Excellent accommodations for a party of five. Only issue was an A/C problem the first day (bit of a heat wave going through), but the property manager (Jocelyn) was right on it and it was fixed very quickly.
Beautiful view of lake Fernan. Well stocked kitchen and nice appliances. Would definitely come back.
