Hébergement très bien situé

Chambre propre, hébergement très bien situé, parking payant pas cher à proximité dans la rue

Nous avions réservé une chambre triple, nous avons eu une chambre "double" et une chambre simple, pas pratique avec un enfant car la porte principale ne fermait pas, il fallait fermer chaque chambre à clé. Dans la chambre "double" pas de lit double mais 2 lits superposés, qui ne semblaient pas du tout solides, pas adaptés pour des adultes. Pas adapté pour des enfants non plus car pas de barrière ni à la tête ni aux pieds. Lits de 180 cm de long, trop petit pour moi, et le lit du haut tanguait vraiment beaucoup, il ne fallait pas du tout bouger... Trop cher pour la prestation fournie 170 euros pour 1 nuit

Наявність кухні, номер для 3 осіб був двокімнатним і з двома санвузлами. Готель знаходиться в центрі міста, близько до набережної. Були чіткі інструкції щодо поселення.

У номері було двоярусне ліжко, на яке було дуже важко вилізти і злізти. Сніданок наче є, але кава розчинна, (хоча на кухні є капсульна кавоварка), 2 тоненьких шматки ковбаси і тоненький шматок сиру. Ну а решта їжі для мене була не прийнятна( булки, солодкі пластівці, солодкий йогурт). На кухні стоїть дві електро плити, і жодна з них не працює. Не можливо навіть зварити яйце на сніданок. Я трохи пошкодила ногу, в готелі є аптечка, але в ній нічого корисного не знайшлось. Мені потрібен був пластир, але там була тільки упаковка від нього. Кімната настільки маленька, що на двох стоїть один стілець. Комфортного перебування ми не відчули.

Cold and humid

Location is in the center of the city but it was a quest with the parking. The breakfast was nice.

The water was mostly cold, the hairdryer was broken and could kill somebody. No one clean the room and changed the towels. When changing of towels was requested they were eventually changed from the second try. The room is small and most probably was designed for one. It was extremely cold in the room, refrigerator frizzed our food to ice. Salad didn’t not survive.

Communication with the receptionist

It was freezing cold, very humid, lack of warm water, everything covered with water - even the hairdryer was soaking wet. There was a portable heater provided but it didn’t help much.

El dia antes nos mandaron un mensaje diciendo que no quedaban habitaciones y nos derivaron a otra casa que tienen (Casa Ateneu). Casa Ateneu esta muy bien relacion calidad-precio, de lo más economico que encontramos.

O quarto estava em péssimo estado, não tinha sido limpo ainda desde que os últimos hóspedes tinham saído, tive de abandonar o quarto sem conseguir falar com ninguém da receção, pois ninguém me atendeu nem respondeu as mensagens.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist es in Ordnung

Die Lage ist spitze! Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche und kann dadurch andere Reisende kennenlernen.

Es war relativ kalt in den Zimmern, die Dusche hatte nicht immer Warmwasser und die Betten waren nicht wirklich bequem.

We actually stayed at Ateneu…

We had to switch locations due to overbooking. We got a really nice room with a giant bathroom at Casa Ateneu which is around the corner from the big church in PDL. The perfect spot for our last night in the Azores. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Very high ceiling!

Great location, very central to town and amenities. Easy walk to the main market for a shop and the kitchen facilities were great.

Our room had a portable a\c that wasn't able to deal with the humidity and kept filling up with water and stopping. Made the room a little uncomfortable on the warmer humid days.

Breakfast option and offer was great. The facilities were pleasant and nicely located. The staff was helpful and kind.

The showers were a little bit unstable regarding water pressure and temperature. There was a breakfast mistake one of the days, that was communicated and cared for during the remaining days

Overall great, almost perfect

Almost everything was perfect. Nice, clean, spacious room. Good bed. Good shower. Good toilet. Helpful kitchen. Service area to leave you luggage in after checkout. Helping staff, speaking good English. Overall great.

The windows are paper thin and the noises from the street keep waking you up. Screeching tyres, loud people, landing planes. This accommodation would be perfect if they changed the windows to better sound insulating windows.

Good location but humid

We were transfered to Casa Ateneu cause Casa do Teatro was overbooked. It was in the center of Ponta Delgada, very comfortable location. First room we got had termites so they changed it to another one the same day. We had a couple of termites there too but not like in the other room. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Room and all the building is very humid. It seems that even sheets get wet. AC didnt help much, open window was better but we were afraid of termites.

Pleasant

- Clean room - Central location in Ponta Delgada, so easy to walk to restaurants nearby - no concierge on location (Casa Ateneu)

- it can be loud outside since it's central location - rooms are not soundproof - our booking was with Casa de Teatro but we were switched to Casa Ateneu. They maintained similar reservation conditions but there was miscommunication and therefore lots of confusion prior to check in.

Worth money for an adventure with friends

Location, traditional home made breakfast (in a basket - ready to be made by the customer!), facilities to prepare meals if needed. There is a hairdryer and shower gel.

The bathroom has got some humidity in the ceiling and walls, but has been cleaned. But the stains are visible and present. Not sure if it's ideal to keep customers there. No shampoo available 😐

Nice experience

I like the place itself and the decoration of the house. Everything was clean and organized. The breakfast was served every day in a traditional basket outside your door and the day before we left (very early) they provided us with an extra basket. The team was always available online to help you with anything we needed.

I did not like the bed. The bunk bed was very week and as I slept on the top floor I was not comfortable with the movement of the bed. I also found the bed difficult to go up and down (and I have already slept in many bunks before).
