Sarah described it best as a “diamond in the rough”. What an amazing little corner of residential cottages/houses. A beautiful quiet beach on the West side of Barbados. All the amenities we needed. All appliances worked well. Sarah was in touch to update us. It was nice to have two full bathrooms. I appreciate the little touches. I will miss my morning view with my coffee and mostly the evening sunsets and watching the hummingbirds. Thank-you Sarah for the great stay!

I loved this cottage on a fabulous beach but my body and particularly my lungs did not like the power plant down the street with its six smoke stacks. The emissions from the power plant started up my asthma. I hope most people wouldn't be affected but I certainly was. I had to move and forfeit almost a month's rent.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. It was only a short walk to a few different restaurants along the beach. Rum bar located across the road. Quiet neighborhood, less than 5 min drive to grocery store. The house was perfect with a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Best part is having the ocean right outside for a quick dip anytime of the day. We loved it and would book again in the future!

Sarah was an amazing hostess. The outstanding service started long before we arrived. Considering things are so ever changing in these strange COVID times she answered all my questions so quickly she did all she could to help us in anyway. She even got an umbrella for the beach to add a bit of shade. She was equally responsive while we were visiting with any questions that came up. We arrived at the perfect time of day, the sun was just setting and the view from inside and outside the cottage was spectacular! We rented car and found it very easy to navigate to from the airport. It is not far from the centre of Bridgetown and Holetown. It a great location to explore the rest of the island from. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen we well stocked and we really appreciated the little things like ice was ready made and cold water in the fridge when we arrived. It was just like the pictures in the profile. The beach is spectacular! The water is crystal clear and amazing sandy beach. We were often the only ones on the beach. The sunsets were spectacular every night. We enjoyed watching ships coming and going. We would highly recommend this diamond in the rough and plan to return as often as we can.
