Very secure location, nice salt water pool, close to beaches, great view from room, good ac, room had everything we needed and was well kept, bed is comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, many snorkle sets for use. 604 is good local place on the water with music at night. Trail at the end of the road is a great hike we seen whales, seals and dolfins plus white coral beach at the point. We drove all around the island avoid rush hour youll be fine. We felt safe everywhere had no issues. Lots of Peacocks at the resort. Dont miss the swap meet at the stadium and local farmers market. Had lots of fun

The property and condo were so clean. You are on the west side of the island almost towards the end so there is less traffic it’s quiet and close to a few different beaches! The views are incredible from the balcony! We really enjoyed our stay.

The Condo is very well done. The Makaha Valley Tower complex is beautiful, the pool was great! We went to the pool almost everyday. The people are nice and friendly.
That being said, Makaha was very depressed. A lot of the beaches were just homeless camps. If you wanted to drive to Wiakiki, or the North Shore, it was at least an hour to hour and a half drive. We went to the Polynesian Cultural center and it took over two hours to get back to the condo. But the traffic is not the fault of the condo or the comunity. If you want a relaxing, quiet vacation, this could be the spot for you!

Coming from a big city, this is truly paradise! Absolutely amazing! The views are spectacular! The mountains, the valley, the ocean!
The apartment is great! Everything as described and more! Lots of little extras! It was walk in and start enjoying our vacation! Was a pleasure dealing with Stephen! Security, staff and other owners that were on site were great! Felt safe and at home as soon as we entered the property! Beautiful beaches a short ride away! Already planning for our next visit! Highly recommend! Thank you for letting us enjoy this unit!

We moved to Hawaii from LA,CA. So I booked for one month to look for an apartment to stay. We really enjoyed our stay. Especially, the view from the living room was amaizing, feel like we are in the middle of some jungle or national park. Thank you very much for letting us to stay.

Perfect apartment to explore Oahu
Great apartment - incredible view, close to local beaches and trails, and location was full of natural beauty and much less crowded than other Oahu neighborhoods. My partner and I were working remotely and this was the perfect "home base" to explore Oahu. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Makaha Valley Towers
We had a most enjoyable time using this beautiful condo for our stay in Oahu. We especially enjoyed the snorkel gear that was available for our use and the hike to the Keanu Point nature reserve. The remodeling was beautiful and the footprint of the condo was perfect, as was the amazing view. Thank you for letting us stay in your condo!

Off the beaten path, quiet and relaxing!
Makaha Valley road is near the end of the shore-bound highway and the condo buildings are a ways up the road. The pace of life in this area was much more reminiscent of Maui. The grounds are well cared for, the support staff are very friendly and the views are amazing. This condo was a large part of a great vacation.

Serenity and Beauty at its Best
Makaha Valley Towers is such a magical place built into the base of a mountain at one side of Makaha Valley in Waianae. This apartment will give you valley, mountain and ocean views in a relatively undeveloped part of the island. We loved being on the 7th floor because it was high enough for great views without the stomach-churning heights of the 15th floor or above. There are so many windows and whether you wake up in the bedroom or living room sleeper sofa, your view will be breathtaking. I have lived and stayed in Honolulu in fancy high rises, but those views don’t compare with what you will have here. The sleeper sofa, my husband and I slept on for a whole month very comfortably, I was initially a little worried about that, but the mattress is very comfy.
We felt fortunate that the unit was updated to tasteful “mainland standards” with new counters, sink and bathroom. The colors and cabinets are all very modern and clean. The home was decorated very tastefully.
We enjoyed the crooning peacocks very much, but I can understand those who may find it a nuisance, they will wake you up early, but it’s hard to be upset about getting a few more waking hours out of your day in paradise.
The unit is just a few minutes to beautiful Makaha beach and our favorite, Makua beach (10 minutes away) past the cave farther west down Farrington Hwy. We were with our two daughters who are relatively ok swimmers but took caution when the surf was high and went to Pokai Bay which is also just minutes from the apartment with reliably calm waters. There is a restaurant on that bay we loved, also I’d say up to “mainland standards” of food, called The Beach House by 604 on Army St. It was so nice to have great outdoor dining on that crystal blue water just minutes from your home.
Thank you to the owners for being very thorough in instructions for entry and leave, ease and reliability of booking with them and availability in our communications.
Not only would I recommend anyone who wants to be in Makaha to stay here but we also wish to return to this apartment whenever we can.

I stayed at the condo in April and May 2021. Before renting with the owner I made it clear that I would be there working remotely on Zoom calls, and the owner said the condo would be perfect for that. When I reported the below noise issues the owner refused to make it right. VRBO tried to intervene and asked Stephen to let me out of the rental early, but he refused and kept my money. It’s up to owners to make things right-VRBO leaves disputes to owners and renters. Beware of the owners you book with, especially this one. If you pay up front, you basically throw away your money with this place. Stephen tried to get me to sign an agreement with him outside of VRBO when I first contacted him to rent, I now understand that he did this so I wouldn’t have any recourse once the construction (outlined below) started.
-LOUD PEACOCKS: The property has a population of ~50 peacocks that live on site year around and are VERY NOISY day and night. They start at 4am! I couldn’t sleep, even with earplugs in. I couldn’t conduct business meetings with these animals in the background constantly.
-CONSTRUCTION: There was jack hammering and drilling going on for almost my entire stay. The condo staff informed me that owners were made aware of it in advance. Stephen did not tell me that it would be happening and took zero responsibility for it.
-LOCATION: Makaha is the WORST PART OF THE OF THE ISLAND. There is meth/crack addiction outside the property. Homeless people are using drugs or withdrawing from them— very sad & scary. Many homeless encampments lining the streets around the property. The listing description is false. It’s far from everything you might want to see and do. With traffic (everyday) it take 50 minutes to an hour to get to a decent grocery store. For dining or shopping, it’s 1 hour. There is only one road in and out of Makaha—so much traffic!
- SLOW WIFI: Zoom sessions were spotty and had to end early, lost connection several times.
-BUGS & DIRTY: So many cockroaches and pests in the unit! The unit was dirty, hair and dirty everywhere. Stephen said he and his wife cleaned it and bugs were a part of the island. Unsure why I was charged a cleaning fee when he “cleaned” the unit himself. The towels in the unit are moldy.
Balcony doors broken, couldn't get out to the very tiny patio. The washing machines don’t work on the floor, and they ate my money several times. Of course, Stephen didn’t care. I had to lug my clothes to a different floor.

We spent the month of Mar...
We spent the month of March and thoroughly enjoyed the condo and especially appreciated that the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all the necessities. We are golfers so it was ideal and we would definitely stay again.

We just returned from a 2...
We just returned from a 2 weeks stay in this condo and we were pleased. It was clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. All linens were supplied. The laundry was only three doors down the hall and available 24/7. The management staff at the Towers were professional and very friendly.
The best part was the spectacular view!
The valley and ocean views were so nice to wake up to every day. The beach at end of road was perfect and not crowded.
I would recommend this property to anyone.
