Getting to the location is convenient with a vehicle. The presence of en-suite bathrooms in all four rooms is a notable advantage, especially for couples, eliminating the need for toilet queueing. The kitchen is well-equipped with sufficient utensils. The garden is a delightful feature, and the direct view of Mt Kinabalu is truly awe-inspiring. The helpers were extremely helpful, and the host responded promptly, offering valuable tips. The beds were clean and comfortable.. very satisfied. We also like the hotwater to all the toilets and sink.
Some minor touchup to the walls and bathroom fittings will definitely increase the rating 1 more notch. No wifi though.

The property is clean and very good for a large family of ours (9 pax age range from 6-80 years old)

Remote area to enjoy a pleasant and peaceful vacation. The owners of the house are very nice and helpful. Sure will come back for another vacation stay.

The surrounding sceneries
The services were very bad due to there is no one to receive us when we arrived. The house key was passed to my van driver and he is a stranger to us. Secondly, when we reached at the homestay there was no current and phone line for us to contact the house owner for help. After 2 hours, the van driver found out there is a generator, we worked together to operate the generator. Moreover, Surrounding the house is very quiet no street lights and very dark.....all was panic and kids started crying out of fear. Very bad service and until we end of stay there is no one for us to handover the house key and proof the house condition.
A part from that, the 1st room bathroom was damp smelly

Love that all cooking & BBQ utilities were prepared. Enough tables & chairs for everyone. Great environment. Kids-friendly environment as they have a mini rabbit farm behind that kept the kids occupied and entertained during the stay. Overall, environment was great.
For a fact, I love their local staff there. They were super friendly, approachable & very helpful. Only thing that I felt uncomfortable even before going for that trip was the bugging texts from the property owner. With so many rules (yes, customers would understand that and know how to read), but I think there’s no need to keep bugging on that. Also, the management could have told us earlier that the deposit & extra charges for extra pax will need to be transferred earlier (not cash on that day). It was a double task for me because I took out cash already to prepare for the payment. Sorry but I just don’t like the extra hassles. Luckily I was still in a small town area that has network and I can do the transfer. Otherwise, it would be an issue if we didn’t managed to pay the deposit first then our family wouldn’t feel happy if there’s issue during check-ins (some more with the long ride & bumpy road to the destination). Hope the management can look into this, though some may think this is a small issue. Things like this can affect the whole family’s mood. Thank you and I appreciate the rest of the stay.
