I will not stay at Fairfield again. Overpriced for the accommodations.

The waffles, that I fixed were ok and the coffe was hot. There was apple juice and pineapple which I like

Friendly Staff, Clean Facility, and a Convenient Location

I stayed here on short notice when I learned Nash Comm College was hosting a fire training class I needed. I booked online after searching the web for reviews of several hotels. This one had fantastic reviews and my experience lived up to the hype. The staff were very nice, helpful, and attentive. The facility was very clean. The breakfast was nice with the usual roundup of hotel offerings though if you are being health-conscious, you will find limited options. The friendly staff and facility cleanliness more than make up for it. This will be the first hotel I check for availability if I'm ever training in Rocky Mount again.

Please tell the staff who worked during my stay that I was very pleased and thankful for them. They deserve a compassionate gesture of appreciation. There was no way for me to do this at the facility.

Very nice hotel and accomodations, felt short on maintenance and breackfast but will give them another chance!

Hotel is new, clean and large clean room .

Thermostat in room didn’t work properly because the battery symbol was showing and settings were not responding, we woke up in hot room at 3:00am so not a time to call for room change. TV did not have signal, found the HDMI cable not connected, after re-attaching was ok. Breakfast: no plastic knives or orange juice available because an earlier baseball team wiped them out, really? Bacon available but no eggs, after complain scramble eggs available but out of bacon by the time eggs were ready.

TV would not turn off. By the time I noticed it it was too late at night Slept with eyes covered. Shower would not work the way it should. Diverted would not shut off.

Spacious room…very nice bathroom and very large stand up shower…very nice staff

Water pressure in shower was low…no real dresser for clothes

EXCEPTIONAL PLACE TO STAY

Check in was easy. We arrived at 11pm and Vanessa was genuinely happy to get us checked in. The room was immaculate! The pillows! Heaven! The bed! Super comfortable! The bathroom was roomy and I loved the extra towel hooks. The breakfast selections were great. And the dining area was spotless. Shaquita and Kevin really did a great job. Angela was at the desk as we checked out. I dropped off the room key and she said she hoped we had a great stay and was really friendly. Please let the staff know how awesome they were. We were there less than 24 hours and in that short amount of time, it was a great experience.

Just a suggestion. Put in a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom. You'd make a lot of women happy.

The staff was not very knowledgeable when it came to concerns and there was no manager to contact. It didn’t seem like the typical 5-Star Marriott hotel.

Breakfast wad very weak every food item was out and what was present was poor quality. Would not stay at this hotel again. Also the faucet in the sink was broken the handle was broken off and had no water coming out had to use the tube faucet for water. Requested to see manager was told by desk person she was busy on phone and not available. I said I would wait she said don't bother she's too busy!! Unbelievable management to guest relations. I worked for Marriott full service hotel for 23 years as and never experienced such poor food quality and lack of food and attention to food service. The attendant was never present and had to be told how to unclog the waffle machine due to no product coming out. A pure mess.

it was nice but I paid $100 more for this weekend than I did a month ago since it was a busy time. Not worth the money.

the rooms were clean and the location was convenient.

We arrived and had a couple of issues with the room. We were told that maintenance left at 2pm, even though they were expecting a full house that night. The deadbolt on our door remained active when trying to close it. Had to swipe the room card to physically close and lock the door.

Hotel has spacious rooms, clean overall and comfy beds. Great location near highway

Huge room, overall a great place to stay and I would return. Great location. Diverse breakfast food.

We did notice drink stains on nightstand that we easily cleaned up. Hair was in shower and on bathroom floor. Need brighter lighting and bulb was out in room. We did not like having to go downstairs for extra linens/blankets that should have been in the room or staff available to bring to room.
