Reality was even better than the pictures. Loved the gardens and connection with nature. Beds and cottages perfect
It’s secluded with difficulty accessing neighbouring restaurants if you don’t have a car.

Good food, nutritious

the setting, the breakfast, the yoga
Our only reservation is that the owner did not acknowledge us once during a 7 day stay.

Big thumbs up for the team and how helpful they were. Nothing was too much trouble and they obliged with some "off menu" requests. Good food & some interesting things on the menu (particularly during the day, less so in the evening). Really good, plentiful inclusive breakfast. Being a yoga teacher, I loved the yoga shala and the morning class and thought the spa was very good, the facial I had was lovely and excellent communication from the spa manager. The extensive gardens are absolutely STUNNING and really well kept. Loved seeing all the different birds. Beautifully designed room and comfy bed.
We thought the one big thing missing for guests who are staying (as opposed to those who come just for the restaurant) was a space/s in the gardens with some loungers to sit/lie and read a book. If you're staying for a few days and want to just chill & relax (as opposed to explore the area) this means you really only have your cottage or the restaurant. There was a hammock in a small garden just in front of our cottage but it wasn't very comfortable and there's only one whereas there were 2 of us! That space could, with a little bit of work, have 2 sun loungers then it would be perfect. The only other thing we didn't like was the fact that there was always music coming from the restaurant - all day and evening til about 10pm. It was a great playlist and for some of the time it was enjoyable, but there wasn't an opportunity to just sit in silence with the birds, it made the "quiet area" notices in the garden somewhat ironic as it was never quiet!

Location, concept and garden. Breakfast was not diverse but good. Coffee was great.
Rooms were too dark. Bathroom was below average and also too dark. Spa was terrible, unclean, and unprofessional. Sheets had too many stains. Quality of mattress and pillows were poor.

Mojigao is a beautiful property nestled in a green haven of trees and shrubs. It is a unique stay option especially in Goa.
We loved the quiet location , the cool environment. All the best of Goa’s high end restaurants and boutiques are in the Assagaon area. Assagaon is also centrally placed if u want to cover both North Goa and Panjim. Nearest beach is 20-25 mins away.
The best part of Mojigao is the wonderful staff and their hospitality. A special shout out to Alvin, Nirmala and Sanket. The staff were very responsive and helpful and everyone always had a smile on their face.
During our stay there were frequent power cuts and that was a big nuisance.
We also had some unwanted guests- a lizard, a frog, a centipede in our room. (The staff did come and clear them out)
Also, it would be nice if coffee sachets are provided in the room to make our own coffee.
The restaurant serves vegan/ veg food mainly with few sea food options. No meat.

The whole space and feeling of being in Nature
Less vegan food options

Breakfast was delicious — freshly prepared and not a buffet. Coffee was great too ( I took some beans home). Service was extremely friendly and personable. The cottages are done very tastefully, with a lot of love and thoughtfulness, beautiful wooden flooring, etc.
Cottages 1 to 3 are too close to the restaurant. Loud piped music was playing from 10am to 10pm which could be heard from the beautiful balconies of the cottages, taking away any (!) illusion of tranquility. I quite liked the live music which was playing for about three hours a day,but the canned music was not my cup of tea and really not what I expected in such a resort.

The property is surreal and peaceful. Morning till evening it’s a very lively space. The food is very clean and amazing. Nirmala is very helpful and extremely Friendly. This is a very different Goa experience.
Nights are dull.

This place is magical. They truely care about giving a beautiful experience to their guests. They have such hospitable staff. Nirmala and Ashwini at the front desk treat you like family and were our go to person. I don't remember all the names but everyone is the just amazing to be around. The owner of this place is such a creative man with an amazing vision to make this property better each day. It was a pleasure to meet him and get to know his story and how much he cares about the guest experience and hospitality.
I also love the fact that in this world where everyone promotes junk food. Moshi the owner of this place has made sure that almost everything serverd at Mojigao is healthy, fresh and delicious.
The bakery items at this place are to die for and Asagao is the best location to live in Goa. All the best restaurants are nearby and yet it's super peaceful.
I will just say that this is an experience that you must not miss out on. I've been to Africa and this hotel feels like it's in Africa in the midst of a beautiful jungle and an amazing botanical garden. You feel as a part of nature.
More options could be added to the food menu and also must never run out of Avo😛

I cannot say enough amazing things about this special place! It truly is so beautifully nestled in a jungle ...surrounded with nature, trees and silence ... so tranquil and peaceful....the restaurant is amazing, catering to so many different food preferences, but what made my stay super special was the staff... each and every person I met was so attentive, welcoming and always greet you with a smile! Big special thanks to Valmiki, Alven and Nirmala for going out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect and a big thank you too to all the restaurant staff, the list would be too long if I mentioned all the names of the lovely people who made my stay at Mojigao an unforgettable one...thank you all and can't wait to be back 🙂🙏🏽🕉

Great location and nice, comfortable place

Beautiful, relaxing cottage (upgraded to King Size) surrounded by the rain, nature and the forest - the best setting to unwind. Fresh water was delivered regularly to the cottage. The food was superb, especially the fish. The chef asked for our opinion and was keen to take advice on board. A very comfy bed.
The jungle gym and yoga area was a bit dirty (would recommend bringing your own yoga mat). The yoga classes were not included in your fee, which is a little misleading.

it was surrounded in greenery and had a very arty vibe to it. the staff were amazing and helpful. The cottages were huge and luxurious. the coffees and desserts here were amazing!!
the food menu was the same as what is served in Artjuna and while it was good food, you would get bored to eat the same type of sandwiches, toasts, croissants etc. if you were to stay for 2-3 nights.
