About this house rental

Casa T is a multi-unit home consisting of 2 studios and 1 - 1 bedroom apartment located in the red hot residential neighborhood of La Veleta, minutes from Tulum’s charming downtown. This house was completed in early 2015 and has won regional awards for its innovative design and has been featured in over 33 international design and architecture magazines as one of the most impressive achievements in architecture of 2015. Some of the magazines it has been featured in are: Archdaily, Design Milk, Domus, Yatzer, Ambientes, and Architizer. The property is approximately 5,000 square feet (500 m2) with 2800 square feet (262 m2) of living space on a quiet street with several newly constructed homes. The house is centered on the lot with two meticulously landscaped white rock Zen gardens in the front and back and all three apartments hinging on the 30 foot (10 m) long lap pool. Several majestic trees were conserved during construction and combined with new landscaping to accent and embrace the polished, mid-century brutalist inspired, corrugated patterned concrete facade. Ten large patio doors let in the clear Yucatan light and give picturesque views of the natural beauty of the gardens from almost every angle within each apartment. Casa T consists of three complete apartments, each with their own bathrooms and kitchens. On the ground floor there is a one bedroom apartment that faces the front garden and pool and a studio with views of the backyard garden and lounge. A staircase beside the pool takes you to the second storey studio penthouse which features a private deck with and outdoor shower, and a main deck with an outdoor kitchen and dining area as well as a separate lounge. The pool area features a shaded lounge area and an outdoor shower. In the back yard there is a tiled dining table that seats six, and hammocks in the front yard.

Beautiful property that allowed everyone to have their own space. Very close to the main road and restaurants. I would definitely book again if we return to Tulum.

Such an amazing house, very private and secure. Three bedroom each with small kitchens, amazing pool, architecture is outstanding! Tucked away from the popular spots but plenty small local spots to walk to and enjoy food and drinks. Highly recommend Verdant restaurant for a fancy pre fix meal that was absolutely amazing. Loved our stay, had everything we needed, would definitely want to book CASA T again for our next Tulum trip.

We loved our stay at Casa T! Luis the property manager and Glynis, the owner were both attentive and kind. The property itself was a lovely ultra-modern space. The kitchens were a bit hard to cook in, however we loved having the option versus a hotel room or tiny kitchnette! Having the barbecue available was perfect for enjoying dinner on the patio! I would not recommend this space for those with mobility issues(lots of stairs and door sills to navigate) or those with toddlers or young children as the modern architecture has lots of sharp corners. It worked well for us with our infant who was not yet walking, though! If you want to skip the uber-touristy (and uber-trafficky!) beach road and get to experience Tulum town, this is a great spot. Just a few block walk to Verdant (one of the best restraints in town) and about 15-20 minutes walk from Centro. I would definitely recommend this home for small groups who want their own space in a spectacularly designed home!
