Dirty - Unsecure- Neglected

Unfortunately, when checking into the apartment it was not as expected or what was advertised. We were surprised at the level of uncleanliness and existing damage to the property. The most concerning items for us were the smell of damp when entering the property, and the security of the property. The property looks as though it had been broken into at some point and there is an excessive gap on the lock side. Unfortunately, due to the security concern, it meant we were unable to fully relax on our holiday especially with a young child. Parking was also difficult during the whole of our stay. Lastly, a £200 ‘refundable’ damage deposit was taken from us 24hrs before check-in (although there is no mention of this on the booking advertisement description), not sure what this deposit is spent on due to the level of current damage.

Comfy, clean modern apartment.

Nice little cafe close by for breakfast. Bright, clean, and comfortable apartment. Perfect for myself, my son, and grandson. Shops on the doorstep and bustops ( we didn't drive)

One small thing with regards to the mirror in the downstairs bathroom. It's too low and too small.

Would not return, not worth the money charged

It was a good size

It smelled very strongly of damp. It wasn’t cleaned well (floors and surfaces were dirty). There was visible dirt build up on tv remotes. Most tvs didn’t work. The towels left for us were very damp. The bedding smelled damp. The mattress in the top floor bedroom needs to be replaced or a mattress topper provided as it is covered in hard matted bumps that are uncomfortable to sleep on. There is visible damp on the walls. It is very hot in in the apartment and there is no AC or fans provided. As the apartment is on a main road, you cannot leave windows open at night to cool down as it’s too noisy and dangerous. Windows are also located in dangerous locations (above a stair case) and so not accessible. Apartment was advertised with parking available but this isn’t the case. The tap in the kitchen gets dangerously hot. Two of the party suffered burns from accidentally brushing against it. There needs to be a warning sign.

spacious, trendy, 2 double bedrooms, nice layout, lovely showers, nice water pressure. amenities were good,

upstairs door handle loose, damp in upstairs bedroom ceiling/wall, upstairs bed slat is cracked and very squeaky, tv in kitchen has screen problem and no channels could be found, door to mini fridge downstairs in coming off the hinge and there is blue ice inside as if someone’s drink has leaked, parking was also a bit of a nightmare.

Friends' rendez-vous

Great place for two couples to stay, well-equipped kitchen and bedrooms.

The first of us to arrive, relied 100% on the WIFI to communicate with the host and the other couple. It took me 3 visits to a nearby cafe for the host to give me the correct password...

Very nice place to stay.

When we open the door it smelt damp and the rug bown stairs wasn't flat and I tried over it the tv in the upstairs bedroom didn't find a chanel and also the one in the kitchen.

Perfect location and a good break whilst my sone coached at a local swim meet.

Easy instructions (including how to spot the front door). Lock box easy to use. Location perfect for driving to Littledown swimming pool and walking into the town centre. Local pizza restaurant excellent, also beer from micro pub good. A decent local Coop meant buying in the few extras we needed was great. Heating easy to use so could feel warm when we needed to. Layout was perfect to spread out and TVs in every room with good access to different platforms good.

Parking was fine until the Saturday night. We came back at 2100 and no street parking available and all spaces for cars in 24hr car park in use. It meant we had to park in a coach bay and keep checking for when we could move the car...so we couldn't just crash and relax. The smart TV s were not immediately obvious to me how to use (got there in the end!); a few written instructions would be helpful for those like me who do not have a smart tv.

Waiting for my deposit 11 days later 😳

The bedding was clean & comfortable. The apartment was lovely but the downstairs could do with a air purifier as there's no windows & it smells of damp. Air fresheners do not fix the issue. The parrot decor was Amazing!! The kicthen was clean (dishwasher) did not work. Needed maintenance for it to be used. The location was loud.. Couldn't open upstairs windows as people could literally climb inside. The kicthen had tea, sugar, and some complemently biscuits which was pleasant.

Check in time was at 4 which was a little late for our liking. It wasted our first day which was a bummer, Plus you have to check out by 10am. Robbery at the cost of the customer 😒 I had to pay a extra £200 deposit to stay at the promises. 11 days later, I'm still waiting for my deposit to be credited to my account. It almost feels like a robbery. Never again!! I have a family to feed.

A total surprise from the time you enter the property. Modern new decor and well designed.

Some bulbs not working and the carpet in the sitting area had some stains and bulged up several times. The hand shower in the lower shower wouldn’t stay up. Larger saucepans and some mixing bowls would enhance the well stocked kitchen. Also, during our stay, there were road works taking place outside the property. this was very noisy. Evenings though were very quiet.

Great apartment for short stay, clean and great facilities.

Everything was available on arrival i.e. hand wash, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, towels, enough loo rolls. Rooms were clean. Opposite a co-op, pizza restaurant and a micro pub 😊I would stay here again.

The only gripes were no pillow or mattress protectors and because one bedroom was in the basement there was no window. Slightly damp smell.

Beautiful and modern apartment

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The facilities were lovely, very clean and modern. It’s a great location as well and accessible to many tourist attractions.

We loved the look and feel of the apartment. It’s very modern. Also there is lots of space.
