About this house rental
Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home on the Sebastian River. This home is part of a 4 home resort style property that sits on the1.7 acres. The large yard is a hidden treasure with 3 semi-private boat docks, shared only by our guests, and endless views.
Imagine rolling out of bed to grab a cup of coffee and seeing Dolphins and Manatee swim right out your back door. This home is the 1900 sq' main house (Name - Reel House), it contains 3 bedrooms / 2 baths and contains a recently updated Theater Room.
The Master Suit - King sized bed, Newley remolded shower, nicely decorated, huge master closet.
Bedroom 2 - Beautiful Queen sized bedroom set, shares main bath that has been newly remolded.
Bedroom 3- Two Twin size beds that can be made up into a king if needed.
Theater Room - Two Twin foldaway chair beds.
Every home is completely private with all needed amenities.
The property is located immediately adjacent to the Florida East Coast Railway. There is potential for noise all hours of the day and night. The average number of trains per day can vary greatly based on needs, however, we can speculate that 4-6 trains per 24 hours is about the average. Most trains pass in approximately 1-3 minutes. We have found that most guests find this to be little to no bother and many even enjoy the trains.

Guests agree to the following prior to booking:
-Cars must be in driveway and cannot be parked in yard/street or at neighbors.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture and droppings must be cleaned from the yard.
-Non-disclosed pets will be considered a major house rule violation and may result in dismissal from the property.
-Smoking/Vaping is Only Allowed Outside and must be thrown away in the outdoor garbage cans.
-This is a quiet family neighborhood - no loud music/parties/large gatherings.
-Linen must be used on the living room couch if used for sleeping.
-Guests are expected to clean up spills and keep rooms tidy. Floors should be mopped and swept if needed due to spills, foot tracks, or pets.
-Any and all damage needs to be reported immediately.
-Guests are not permitted to exceed listed occupancy in accordance with local laws.
-Guests will be asked to leave the residence for significant violations (in accordance with house, local, and state laws) and do so with the understanding they will not be refunded their deposit or any remaining nights on their reservation.

The house was beautiful on the inside. The view of the Indian River was spectacular and loved fishing of the docks on the property. The kitchen was beautiful and I had everything I needed. We like to pack light and the laundry room was equipped with great washer/dryer. We also really enjoyed the home theater.
Only two observations that would have been nice was bedrooms didn’t get as cool as rest of house so it took a couple nights to adjust to higher temp than used to and would have been nice to have had the large back yard mowed for easier access to river and docks. Overall I would recommend this property with a four and a half out of five stars.

This was our 3rd stay at the Reel House. It was super as in the past. Great location. Good fishing within 5 minutes of the dock. Easy access to Sebastian and its restaurants. Just a nice place to relax.

Dock for boating and fishing adds so much to the vacation. Grounds were beautiful, beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our stay and look forward to returning.

Craig responded Immediately to any questions. Neighbors are super nice. Lot's of parking and Location is convenient to beach, town(s) and fishing. Theater room is a bonus for bad weather days. We bring our own devices & had no issues after a few "reboots" We will stay again if our travels bring us this way.
We love trains so the Lumbering freight haulers running 55+ mph caressed our sleep and the Brightline 2 engine 4 passengers zipping pass at 70 + mph did not blow their horns crossing the bridge. Kids grand-kids and adult kids, if you love trains like we do spend a few nights you will not regret it!

The house is great. Clean, modern, well furnished and comfortable. The dock is also functional and well maintained. The electricity and the light work. Fishing from the dock is also an added bonus.

A decent riverfront property but next to railroad which runs almost all day!
My family was quite excited when we checked in this house. The property looks outdated on the outside but very well kept on the inside. Great waterfront view with a fishing/boat dock in the back. However, this property is right next to the railroad which it runs almost all day (even at midnight and again at 4am). The worst part was the railroads needed some repair when my family was there so the pounding sounds started from 8am to 4pm. It was impossible to relax. Other than the railroad issues everything about this house was great.

Great place for fishing and family fun. Both houses were just as described, they met our every need! Craig was a wonderful host and was just a text away. I highly recommend both houses, you won’t regret it!!!!!

Perfect house and stunning location on St. Sebastian River
We really enjoyed our time at Riverview Getaway. Our family was able to maneuver and dock our boat with no problem down the St. Sebastian River from the ICW (Stay in the Channel). We did some fishing from the docks everyday and enjoyed the theather room watching movies at nights. House has everything you would need and is nicely decorated. Craig, the property manager, was very welcoming, responsive and shared a lot of extra details/information to make our stay very comfortable. We look forward to returning to this little gem, hopefully very soon!

Perfect home
This house exceeded our expectations. Everything worked, it was very clean, great location. Good dock with electricity. Like all Florida docks it was a bit high so if you have a typical inshore fishing boat I recommend some type of short ladder to attach to the dock. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is a DVD player in the Theater Room (which we enjoyed very much).
This is a great place, Hope to rent it again.

Perfect Getaway
November 2021 - This was the perfect location for a fall getaway. Our teenage boys enjoyed fishing from the dock, kayaks and our boat which was safe and secure at the property's dock. Within minutes, you are in the Indian River with a direct path to the Sebastian Inlet if you prefer to go offshore. The house had all the comforts of home to make our stay effortless. Craig is an amazing host, checking in with us before the stay, on the days of check-in and check-out and quickly answering any inquiries during our stay. We look forward to another stay this fall!

Our second happy stay
We like this comfortable house so much, with its spacious yard, docks, setting facing sunrise over the river, large screened porch, well-equipped kitchen. And the train too. We’ll be back!

Nice property with river view
Nice property with a good view and large back yard. The property manager is excellent as well. Only downside is that it is right next to a fairly busy railway and associated RR bridge that is under construction so it gets noisy at times especially if you are outside.

Great place to stay!
We had to change our yearly fishing destination related to red tide on gulf coast. We found this house on the river. Not only fishing friendly with dock but the accommodations were really nice. Comfortable beds, nice theater room. Will come back again to vacation again.

What a great vacation!
This home has so much personality. Its relaxing and modern with water views that melt you! The Lanai made the few rainstorms we had come to life over our stay. We saw dolphin and manatee, tons of fish and even a few shark. The owners were very accommodating, and Craig was a joy to book with! We cant wait to come visit again.

I can't find the words to describe how clean is the property and how kind and professional our host. Alot of fun inside the house including theater room, screened patio to watch wild live 4 tvs with cable on. Outside lovely backyard with king size swing , shaded with plenty of trees. Florida visit
The house is lovely and has everything you need. The backyard is completely fenced and is huge so was perfect for our dogs. They had a blast. The fishing off the pier was not a disappointment. My husband caught lots of fish including a 3.5 foot snook! Very relaxing.

Happy inside and outside
The interior of the house is lovely and seems to be freshly painted and remodeled with handsome furniture and attractive art. The yard is enormous with a comfy two person swing hanging from a Live Oak and at the end of the yard three docks. We were thrilled to see manatees frequently and other wonderful wildlife: hooded merganser ducks, ospreys ibis even oystercatchers. We kayaked upstream to look for birds and manatees but actually we saw plenty from the dock. Craig came over immediately to fix one problem we encountered. Love the spot and I’ve already reserved for next year.

Great place on a beautiful river
Property was well taken care of and was nicely designed/furnished. Large fenced in yard was great for our dog and we enjoyed watching the manatees and dolphin from one of the three docks. Only negative was the proximity to the railroad tracks but fortunately we like trains...

Amazing Home for Family get away
You can tell the owners/managers of this home pays attention to the details. The kitchen was amazing, utensils, cooking gadgets, spices, and for the coffee lovers like myself a Kureg and regular pot. The waterfront view was stunning and was perfect to tie up a boat for our stay. The fishing off the dock was great. The large screened back porch was a great place to hangout as well as the media room. Craig was very responsive to all questions leading up to the stay. Oh and did I mention kayaks for to use as well. We can not wait to come back!!!!

Fish of a lifetime.
This was a return trip for my son and I and 2 friends. We brought kayaks to fish for tarpon and snook. The heavy rainfall the previous week made the fishing challenging but we kept at it and were rewarded by some amazing fish. When not fishing we enjoyed the great house, back yard and porch. Great dinners at outriggers just down the road, fantastic wings. We will be back!

We arrived at the property and spent more than an hour just checking out the classic and timeless decor and the beautiful view. As the week went on we spent little time in the house and almost all our time on the Lanai or walking the property. Beautiful property, great house, great fishing!
This property looked too good to be true but it exceeded our expectations! House was clean, nice decor, and stocked with everything we needed. 3 nice docks with beautiful sunrise and sunsets and the best fishing! Tropical oasis with very large yard. Our pup loved it too! I enjoyed the swing in the mornings and afternoons- so comfy I fell asleep. Then end the evening in the theater room! We hardly left the property, everything we needed was right there. The owners happened to be there at another house and it was very nice talking to them. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing
We visit Sebastian for the first time. We took a little getaway with the kids for a long weekend and this house was just beyond great. The house was so great and we had more then we needed. Family getaway.
Great set up for family, nice shaded fenced yard, kayaks on site, 3 docks to fish or relax. Quiet neighborhood and almost no boat noise due to restrictions on speed in the river. Saw manatee's every day right off the dock!
