Perfect location! The house is beautiful.

Great lakehouse with views, nice beach with decent amount of sand. Water is a bit rocky so bring water shoes. Water toys are provided.
Deck is awesome, basement hang-out area is great while grilling. Location is nice between Charlevoix & Petoskey so you can get to either town quickly for dinner/whatever.

I had this trip planned for a year for our Mother's early 80th Birthday . From the moment we checked we felt special. Marjorie decorated the home for my Moms birthday, even made her Brownies ( very special touch) The owner could not of been more accommodating with his suggestions , exploring the area. Great golf course suggestions. We loved everything about this vacation home. It was perfect, great location, great Bike paths, love the area. Our neighbor Jeff shared his Kayaks and brought my Mother some beautiful flowers! Very nice surprise!. The home was very clean and we loved our own private beach area. We all agreed we would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Clean, comfortable, and a perfect spot on Lake Michigan. Enjoyed the many local biking and walking trails, rock hunting, and a morning coffee with the lake sounds on the porch.

This house was perfect for our family vacation to Charlevoix! The beach was gorgeous and it was close to both towns. The house had everything you could possibly need, and we were all comfortable.

Great house right on Lake Michigan with excellent beach! The house had all of the essentials and then some. We felt right at home when we first walked through the door. The owners go above and beyond to ensure that your vacation is stress free and comfortable. The house is right in the middle of Charlevoix and Petoskey making it an ideal spot. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend this house. Our kids who are 5 and 3 loved the beach and the ping pong table. Plenty of things to do around the house in case there is a rainy day.

The purpose of our trip was rock hunting but we enjoyed so much more at this location. The house was perfect for us and the walk out basement to the beach provided access anytime for our bountiful hunting therapy. The home is beautiful and the kitchen well equipped for eating in-even including a crockpot to keep soup warm and ready when we were. The communication with Marjorie and Mike was great. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. We had to go outside to see the sunset and it never disappointed. This home ranked number one of 15 for my sister and brother-in-law’s lodging for their first 15 of 50 Dates in 50 States. They both turn 50 this year. When we arrived the house had birthday decorations to help us celebrate. Great experience!

The house was clean, comfortable, and as presented in the pictures online. The kitchen was well appointed. The area is lovely, and the Lake Michigan views were incredible. We thoroughly our Thanksgiving stay!

Fantastic spot to get away from everything. Gorgeous water views with both sunrises and sunsets. Hosts couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Perfectly located between Petoskey and Charlevoix. And Marjorie's brownies are the BOMB!!!

Marjorie was very attentive and the house itself a veritable gem in the northwoods, clean and cozy with lovely views of the bay. A delightful stay overall!

This house was so cozy and perfect for a fall getaway. The house was fully stocked with supplies and games/puzzles for my kids. Fall colors were beautiful. We had a great time.

This home was perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and seasonings. The view was beautiful. Sitting on the beach or by the fire pit was wonderful. They even had some firewood for us! When we arrived there was a warm pan of freshly made brownies, what a plus that was!! The owner and manager were very easy to correspond with and they responded very quickly to all of my messages. Short drive to either Petoskey or Charlevoix, and of course the wineries were close too. 😊

This home is well furnished, clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked! We loved having access to the water toys as well! Located perfectly between two fave towns - Charlevoix and Petoskey and close to Torch and Walloon Lakes. Two master suites are a huge bonus! Thanks for a wonderful stay!💙

This is such a great house for my family to get away together in! The area has much to offer but we enjoyed hanging at the house as much as anything! Great people to work with, too! Marjorie is such an asset to have in the area!! Many thanks!!

There are many very nice houses with great views of Lake Michigan, but very few are this close to the water with NO STEPS and great privacy from neighboring homes. You can see the lake from the kitchen, dining, and living rooms as well as the second floor loft living area. The kitchen is well appointed and there is an abundance of water activity floats and boards (we didn't use any since we came so early in the season). Be aware that this isn't a sandy walking beach so water shoes are a must to go in the water. The plus side is no one is walking past on your private beach. The Petoskey to Charlevoix trail is accessible at the end of the street and you are well situated about halfway between the two towns and close to Bay Harbor so restaurants and other activities are close at hand. The property manager Marjorie is very attentive to any needs and responds immediately if you have any questions. Great property AND service!

The home is in a beautiful location and the house is laid out nicely to ensure everyone has space. We encountered a fruit fly issue the first day of our arrival throughout the kitchen area. We contacted the property manager and they came out immediately to attempt to resolve the issue by cleaning the kitchen area thoroughly and putting drain cleaner down the drains. This offered temporarily relief for a day, we encountered a continued presence of fruit flies in the kitchen area all week, and both bathrooms sink areas. It was not an enjoyable experience, especially being that we were extremely careful to make sure no food was left out anywhere.
The beach and firepit area were great to take in the up north experience and we also enjoyed the deck area. The outdoor area where the gas grille, charcoal grille and water sports equipment was located needs some organization and clean up.

This was our first time staying at this property. We loved the layout of the house - it definitely seemed roomy enough to fit 8 adults in comfortably. Amenities were great - pretty much everything we needed for a 2 week stay.
The outside was what really sold the place. The view of Lake Michigan was wonderful - there's nothing like sitting on a porch watching and listening to the waves come in. It's far enough away from towns to be able to see tons of stars on the clear nights, yet close enough that Petoskey, Charlevoix, Bay Harbor and Boyne City were just a short drive away.
Thanks for opening up your house!! Looking forward to staying there again.

The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need to relax and watch sunsets over Lake Michigan. Great place to vacation!

Awesome Location
The first thing about this property is the location. It is easy to get to, and right on Lake Michigan. The road is paved, there is room for more than 2 cars in the driveway (we had 2). The proximity to the Little Traverse Wheelway- bike path is conveniently located at the end of the street. We brought bikes and enjoyed the path. You can ride from Charlevoix to Petoskey and are located virtually in the middle. The home is very well stocked, there was plenty of things like paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, and trash bags. The home has a kayak, 2 paddle boards and the lifejackets you need to use them in a variety of sizes. The beach is rocky (great Petoskey and Charlevoix stones to be found) so water shoes were a must. The star gazing is magnificent at night and the bird watching during the day was very good too. We saw many birds including a barn owl, a Pileated woodpecker, tufted titmouse, swans, geese, ducks, along with rabbits and a coyote!
We enjoyed sitting on the deck, playing in the water, going into town, and some great bonfires at night.
The beds were comfortable, the space was great- the adults as well as the 7&10yo enjoyed the ping pong table in the lower level.
The bbqs look like they need a little loving, but we were able to grill on the charcoal grill.
We had one small issue which the owner responded to immediately and had resolved within an hour.
Every one of our group of 8 (6 adults and 2 young children) throroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful vacation once again. Spectacular location, wonderful host, and lovely home. Our second year at this five star property and we had an awesome time.

Comfortable, great location
This is our second stay at this property. If you want a private piece of Lake Michigan shoreline that's easily accessible from the house, on a quiet street with access to the bike path between Charlevoix and Petoskey, this is it. Best for adults and older children, as there is no sandy beach to play on. The property manager is extremely responsive-we had an issue with a broken kitchen gadget and it was replaced within hours, before we needed it again.

Amazing views
Lovely new home in a great location between Petoskey and Charlevoix. You will think you are on the Mediterranean Sea. The sunsets are spectacular and you will easily find the famous Petoskey stones on the beach. If the weather had been warmer we would have made better use of the pleasant screened porch and the water toys, but we did make s'mores over a bonfire. The home was comfortable for the four of us and most everything you need is there. That said, we found the beds to be either way too soft or way too hard, but this is an individual preference. We enjoyed a beautiful stroll on the Bear River Trail in Petoskey, rented bikes and explored Charlevoix, and shopped at the cute stores in both towns. A wonderful part of the Mitten state that is not to be missed!

Beautiful house, amazing views and a very relaxing stay :)
Thank you for sharing your house. The property is very nice and the view of the bay was amazing. The owner was incredibly helpful and responded to all of our questions.
We came during the spring break and the lake was frozen. We had a very relaxing time at the house. Kids and us had a blast playing on the frozen lake. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful, excellent accommodations, very comfortable.
The view of Little Traverse Bay is amazing.
The fire-pit extends outside time. Loved the close access to the Wheelway trail. Nice big kitchen/dining area for our group of 6 to hang out .
OUTSTANDING!

Beautiful location
Very nice property. Beach front was beautiful. House very nice. Couple things to improve . There were no dressers in a couple bedrooms so there was no place to put your clothes. Needed some hooks to hang wet towels, etc. Coffee pot and toaster needs updated. House accommodates 10 people but not enough seating in living room and kitchen table. Sun room is very nice but no glass on the window so if it's raining or chilly, can't really use the room. Overall, it's a very nice property. With these few suggestions, certainly would be a 5.

Very nice house with all necessary amenities. Property manager was attentive and responded to any questions. Quiet location on cul de sac in a small neighborhood. Easy access to Little Traverse Wheelway.

Fabulous Location, Beautiful Home!
Our family had a fabulous time at this home. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood where full-time residents smiled, waved and were hospitable beyond measure! The beachfront area was amazing for swimming, kayaking, fossil and rock hunting and just relaxing in the sun. We loved the fire pit area and really enjoyed the large deck, with its incomparable view of Lake Michigan. We brought our own bikes, which we used on the bike trail that is conveniently right at the end of the street. The inside of the home is beautifully decorated and our family had plenty of space to spread out. The owner has the home very well stocked with everything from laundry detergent to toilet paper to kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable, towels fluffy and beach toys and chairs were aplenty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return next summer! Oh and the Petoskey stone and other fossil hunting was INCREDIBLE! I found THE BIGGEST piece of chain coral :-)

Great House on Lake Michigan
We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and new with lots of space, and well stocked. Outside the firepit and private beach were a great place to relax with plenty of floats and chairs. The location was perfect with just a short drive to downtown Charlevoix, Petoskey, or Boyne. The neighbor was very friendly, but trees between the properties allowed plenty of privacy.
