About this house rental
Summary:
Gorgeous newer home near Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Well-appointed with high-end furniture, modern-rustic design, and architectural charm. Huge, gorgeous backyard with huge large deck area, hot tub, fire pit, and playground.
The house is a stunning new home on an acre surrounded by old growth pine trees and tamaracks. Beautiful architecture and luxurious furnishings throughout the home. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Whitefish and Glacier National Park.
The Space:
The home has exceptionally furnishings, including custom leather sofa, deep seated lounge chairs, and a master retreat. The great room has floor-to-ceiling views of the tall trees. West facing exposure so you can enjoy awesome sunsets.
The backyard is a dream, including a large paver deck (1,000 SQF), hot tub, playground, and high end patio furniture. The backyard also has a wood burning fire pit with comfy Adirondack chairs.
Upgraded lighting including a rustic antler chandelier, oversize Edison lights over the kitchen island, and a candlelight chandelier in the dining room.
The kitchen has all new appliances with an open floor plan to the great room and the dining room. Three extra large leather counter stools at the kitchen island for extra seating.
The interior finishings of this home really set it apart. There are dramatic wood ceiling beams in the great room area (living room, kitchen, dining room), wood casings throughout the house, barn doors, and genuine hardwood floors. The living room has a gas-operated stone fireplace.
The house has four bedrooms, including an awesome master suite with a separate sitting area, California king bed, and lots of storage. The master bath has a dual vanity sink, walk-in shower, and a free standing "soaker" bathtub.
The second bedroom is a queen size bed. Room is outfitted with brand new farmhouse style furniture. Large closet and lots of clothes storage.
The third bedroom is a bunk room with four bunk beds. They are rustic style and high quality - very sturdy.
The fourth bedroom is smaller and has a twin sized bed.
A separate "bonus room" includes a sectional sofa with a pull-out queen sized bed. The bonus room also includes a second entertainment center.
Everything in this house is top of the line and high quality because that is what we expect on our own vacations.

The location of the home was great- we spent several days exploring Glacier National Park, took a day trip to Canada and spent the 4th of July in Whitefish.
At the house we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub and on a rainy afternoon played Trivial Pursuit. The house worked well for our two families. Easy communication with Brent. Could have used some cleaning/weeding in the outdoor space but overall great stay! Thanks!

The house is modern, clean and convenient to Columbia Fall and Whitefish. We didn’t have any kids but the backyard is a Mecca for kids.

It worked perfectly for our family. We wanted to see Glacier which we did. We wanted to keep the kids happy. The yard was perfect and the play structure was perfect. And the place is absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was exactly as advertised, but even cleaner and newer than expected. Backyard is perfect for spreading out with a large group.

We came for a family wedding, perfect location to everyone. Family was with us from Australia and they loved it!!!

Listing was inaccurate. 2 beds were broken. Host informed us of broken beds the day we checked in. Sent handy man to fix issue, handy man went into the home without permission from guests & stated guest luggage was in the way preventing issue from being resolved. Issue was not resolved by end of visit. Negative experience.

Great spot in a fantastic location. Very responsive and respectful hosts. We had a great time.

We stayed with our two little kids and both sets of grandparents. The house was large enough to accommodate our group well. It is located in between Colombia Falls and Whitefish, so plenty of places nearby to shop for groceries or go out to eat. It was about 30 min to Apgar Visitor Center from the house. It was a nice place to come home to after a day of exploring glacier, soaking in the hot tub after some hikes was particularly great. We had a few minor issues which were quickly fixed by the owner. Overall great experience.

Retirement Kick-off
This property was perfect for our family as it was a kick off to my retirement. It accommodated 7 adults and 3 children. The property was spacious, with up to date furnishings. The perfect location to enjoy Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. The owners were attentive and I would highly recommend this place. Thank you! Lois

Family Road Trip
The house was perfect for our 4 family road trip. It's a beautiful drive to Glacier NP. We ate in Whitefish for dinners and it's such a cute town. If you're there on a Tuesday they have a great farmers market in the afternoon/evening ending at 7:30. All the beds were super comfy and the house was immaculate. We'd definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location for a family gathering!
We had a wonderful 3 days at this house in July. There was plenty of common space and beds for Grandma and her two kids' families. The younger kids loved the bunk room. There were so many games available, and the back yard couldn't be beat (fire pit, play structure, cornhole...). The hot tub is a bit old, but we didn't need it much on the 95+ degree days! Lots of dishes and silverware for our group, nice big fridge, big BBQ, high capacity W&D, plenty of firewood... very well stocked! Only suggestion I had was for more towels... not enough for all of our family members at baseline, let alone for hot tub use as well.

Family vacation
The home was lovely and perfect for our three generation family trip. The home is beautifully decorated, the master bedroom is large and comfortable, the bunk room was perfect for our young grandchildren. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining table was able to accomodate the nine of us. The backyard with the playground area, fire pit and outdoor seating were relaxing and a great place to enjoy after long days at the park. Location is terrific, in a quiet neighborhood only a few miles to the airport (FCA) and only a few miles to the town of Whitefish. The west entrance to Glacier National Park is about 30-40 minutes away. Wonderful experience.

Beautiful, relaxing, spacious home!
We were very impressed with this fairly new, beautiful, clean, spacious, home set in a quiet “one street neighborhood” on a cul de sac along with other beautiful homes with great landscaping. It was convenient to Glacier National Park, WhiteFish, and Kalispell Intl airport, etc! Home had a HUGE back yard, great covered back patio with furniture, a grill, smoker, swing set, hot tub, hammock, the softest perfect green grass, a fire pit with 6 chairs and more! Please see pictures in listing. However it’s much nicer in person! Owners were very accommodating!! We would return! 5 stars! Thank you!

GlacierTrip!
House was perfect for our mini family reunion. Listing was transparent and we knew exactly what we were getting into. The only item I would suggest to Brent is to purchase better beds and mattresses. Otherwise, everything was great. Thanks

Home was beautiful and clean. The mattress’ on the bunk beds were not comfortable for teenage girls, springs could be felt, they had to sleep on couch, there were not enough blankets for the bunk beds either. The other bedroom mattress with the double bed, sinks to the middle and was uncomfortable as well. There was not enough towels for bathing and hot tub, had to do a couple of loads of laundry to have clean towels. Master bedroom was very comfortable and had enough towels . However, in the second bathroom there were not enough towels. Front porch needs a light bulb that works. It was a beautiful home and loved that it was clean however it lacked a few little things. Owner was prompt to answer text questions. Overall it was good and we made due on the lack of towels and blankets. Would return but would bring own towels and blankets. Also we were close to running out of toilet paper. Thank you

Perfect House for Christmas
Great property. Has everything you need. Well organized kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy living room. The home finishes are beautiful. Wood floors, leathered countertops, oil rubbed bronze fixtures and plush carpets in bedrooms. Kids loved the backyard. We saw a bald eagle in the trees as well has deer grazing, all from the grand oversized window in living room. Location was perfect for us, close to Whitefish and easy access to Kalispel and Columbia Falls.

Very child friendly
We stayed only a few nights regrettably. The property has a fenced backyard with plenty of fun stuff for our two year olds to play on. Also plenty more inside. Great space for two couples and their kids. The neighborhood was peaceful and the neighbors waved! So friendly.
Also, I loved that the check out list was minimal/reasonable. We’ve noticed a trend this past year of huge and detailed check out lists plus that hefty “cleaning fee”. It makes you wonder why you’re cleaning and paying a fee. So a huge thank you to the host(s). We hope to come back.

I highly recommend this beautiful home in Columbia Falls. The home is extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. We were a group of 3 families and 9 people. There was plenty of space inside and out for us to spread out - large comfy couch, solid expansive dining table, barstools at kitchen counter, and a bonus room with another couch, tv and games. The bedrooms offered comfy beds and quality bedding. The fenced backyard offered another extensive living space with sectional, dining table, fire pit and awesome hot tub! It is a young child’s dream yard with play set and yard toys. Finally, the location of this home could not be better - less than 30 minutes to GNP West Glacier entrance and a quick trip down the road to Whitefish shopping and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay at this property again in the future.

We loved our stay! The house was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything anyone would need. It is incredibly convenient to Whitefish, Glacier Park and the Kalispell airport. The arrangement of the beds also allowed for everyone to have plenty of room. Can't wait to plan our next vacation back to this wonderful home and host!

We decided to travel to MT/Glacier National Park to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with our children and our closest friends. Aside from Google, we had no idea of how Columbia Falls was situated in relation to the park, Whitefish, the airport, etc. We were pleasantly surprised when it took us less than 10 minutes to get most anywhere and only 30 minutes to get to the park!
The house is perfect for 8 people. We had four adults and four kids and everyone loved it. There is not one aspect we would change. The check in was super easy, the instructions for everything were clear - it was a breeze. I cannot thank Brent enough for opening his house for rent. It really was perfect.

Our family of four had a great time visiting Glacier National park for the first time as well as visiting some other sites in the area. While this property is a little ways away from Kalispell (about 15-20 minutes) , it’s close by to the Park and Whitefish (the latter has some great restaurants and coffee shops). While the house was close by to many great locations, it is a great place to hang out in its own right…the separate TV room was great for the kids (teens), and the spacious living area/kitchen along with the office/twin bedroom offered great places to retreat to to get some reading done or e-mails addressed. The outside living area is really nice too - my wife and I spent time out there also (the back yard is beautiful). If we went to the Kalispell area again, we would stay again.

Perfect for GNP
We had a great stay with family here while visiting Glacier NP. It was the perfect retreat after a long day of hiking. The house is conveniently located and has everything you’d need. Our kids loved the fire pit and playground in the backyard - great to unwind with something besides a hike for them! Would 100% stay here again.
