Potential to be cosy

All the furniture is so old, its like sitting directly on timber frames. The lounge and both beds are so uncomfortable, thin mattresses and almost falling apart. A new second hand lounge and 2 beds/mattress's would have made our stay so much more comfortable. Sitting anywhere was like perching on a rock. It looked like a 2 bedroom house HOWEVER it is 1 bedroom and a second bed is in the lounge room. So we couldn't put our kids to bed separately (as one is newborn) and then hang out in the lounge because our toddler had to sleep in there...making our nights earlier than usual

Would not go back to this property. However, Bec, the host was responsive.

Breakfast was supposed to be part of the deal, only, after reaching was I made aware of the limited option, i.e buy from a food truck and claim, I funded my own.

No dishwasher, no wi-fi, and mobile reception was so bad. All my friends got a better property (bigger, with better amenities, and paid less) and had wi-fi and Dish washer.

Bec was great to deal with and very attentive to our needs as a family! Highly recommend!!!

So close to the lake, we loved walking over for several swims per day!!! This home is so retro, it’s super cute.

Beds are quite uncomfortable, I think it’s just the mattresses are worn out but this was a minor inconvenience!!!!

Our family really enjoyed our weekend away.We are looking forward to coming back in January we loved it so much.

Great location, family friendly with things for children to do and the dogs loved it as well.

Don't book it during winter

Great location really close to the beach. The house was clean.

We visited in June and it was very cold in the house, there is only 1 aircon system in the living room to heat the all house. It's probably perfect for summer but it is really not enough for winter. The ventilation system in the bathroom is literally a hole in the wall so it is really cold as well. We had to bath our baby in the kitchen sink. The included breakfast was not enough for the 3 of us for 2 days and some of the food in the cupboard was expired. Also it was written that I had booked the entire house on the Booking confirmation but when we arrived the 2nd bedroom was locked and I was told that I had to pay extra if I wanted to use it even though I did not wanted to use the beds I just needed a space to put n'y baby's travel cot. It is probably enjoyable to stay there in summer but don't book it in winter. We booked for 2 nights but stayed only one night. Yes it is the cheapest in the area but it is still not worth it.

Horror Experience!! Keep Away!!!

The location

There is no polite way of describing the place – it is a Cheap and Hostile Dump. Simple The place is old and stinks, we were disrespected, our check-in time was delayed by 3hrs, told to buy our own cooking gas, and when we complained, she became very rude. Finally, we were harassed to leave the premises even though we were long gone As you enter, a damp smell hits you. Opening windows did not help much. Then you are confronted with run-down furniture all over the house. The sofas, beds, chairs…. the lot. A crappy “master” bed in the living room. Two sets of bunker beds crammed in 2 tiny bedrooms! Nowhere to move. Hanging electrical and data wires in the living room (OHS concern) Don’t even mention the old faded towels and bed linen. You can literally see stains from overuse. Worst of all, BBQ Gas ran out in the middle of Christmas day cooking. When we contacted the host for replacement, she got very hostile. Her exact reply by text was “? Not sure, your paying $27 pn pp and you don't have $30 for a gas bottle If you feel disgruntled about it I can pay for what you don't use I'll get it measured at the end of your stay if you provide a receipt” What shocked me is that these were words coming out of a Host's mouth. Really?... The shocking attitude did not stop there. Well after we had checked-out, she sent us more text … “Please confirm you have vacated immediately In accordance with house rules 11am check out you agreed to Out You go now” I would not touch this property with a ten-foot pole!

We expected this level of accommodation and it fit us very well. The price was great

all good

lots of nails from the roofer in the front parking area (no flat tyres though!). Beds were pretty stiff. No ladder for top bunks and little kids. maybe a better mat to control sand (we didn't take shoes inside but still ended up with a sandy bed!) Shower curtain was pretty clingy. Front door double handle is a pain.
