About this house rental
If you’re looking for a peaceful setting, privacy, and beautiful views, this custom home is perfect! Located on the ski-mountain side of Angel Fire, at an elevation of 9,700 ft., the views don’t get any better. This home is situated amongst the aspens and pines, with no immediate neighbors (can only see one other house). There are plenty of areas to hike, explore, and view wildlife, directly from this home.
There are cheaper rentals in AF, but remember, you get what you pay for. Look at all our 5 star reviews and know you are getting an awesome slice of Nirvana when you book here.
As you enter the home, you come into a large great room with a beautiful, vaulted wood tongue and groove ceiling, a custom wood-burning fireplace, and large picture windows which let in plenty of sunshine and allow for gorgeous views.
The great room opens to the gourmet kitchen which features a gas stove and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of drinkware, dishes, pots/pans, and small appliances if you want to enjoy a cocktail on the deck or prepare a family meal (a variety of seasonings and spices is provided). There is a large dining table with seating for 8 and a breakfast bar with seating for 4. From the dining area, French doors open to the back deck where there is a gas grill and a covered hot tub area.
The master bedroom with king size bed is located on the main floor. The room features a reading nook with an overstuffed leather chair, which is perfect for curling up with a blanket and a good book. The ensuite master bath features double sinks, a shower, and a jetted soaker tub which is perfect after a long day of hiking or skiing.
There are two additional bedrooms on the main floor, each with a comfortable queen size bed. The main level is completed with a full bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer.
On the lower level, there is a large bunk/game room which is perfect to spread out and relax, or for the kids to have their own space. This bonus room sleeps up to 7 in two sets of bunk beds (twin over full and twin over twin) and two full size futons. Have fun playing foosball and board games or relax while watching movies on the 50” smart TV. DVD library included.
This home offers beautiful decks on the front and back of the house. Relax on one of the Adirondack or rocking chairs as you drink your morning coffee or evening nightcap. It is truly relaxing to sit in the peace and quiet while watching the wildlife by day or stargazing by night. Enjoy the hot tub after a long day on the slopes!
Come to relax and escape to the mountains! Hiking, fishing, or golf in the summer and snow skiing in the winter! You will not be disappointed!
We highly recommend a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter.

Loved everything about the property. It was stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home, including plenty of outdoor seating. I was so thankful that the driveway wasn’t steep after seeing some of the ones along the way. Hiking path nearby with an incredible rewarding view at the end. Lots of wild life watching. Being from Texas, I loved opening the windows and enjoying cooler temps and appreciated the short lived rain showers. My dad says I picked the perfect house for our trip— high praise 😉

The kids loved the bunk beds on the ground floor with their own living area and foosball table. The master suite and bathroom were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. We had a great time.

Kids and grandkids had a blast going skiing and the kitchen was easy to use for me. I just hung at house and cooked meals which made it nice

We had a great vacation and this house was perfect for our group of 2 families with teenagers. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The Mountain View’s were breathtaking! We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. There was a minor issue with the dishwasher and the host quickly fixed it for us. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in angel fire!

Great house! 2 families stayed here to ski and we had plenty of room. Kitchen had everything we needed, the hot tub was great after skiing. Loved all the deer that came by several times a day. It is a 10 minute drive up the mountain from the ski lifts. Would stay here again. Property manager was very responsive.

The home was just as the pictures described. It was comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was ample seating inside and outside of the home. My kids loved all the games, movies and the foosball table. The hot tub was also a bonus. Perfect to relax after a long day of hiking.

We had a blast staying here with three other families and skiing Angel Fire! We had. 5 kids aged 7-10 and they bunk room with the foosball table was great. Kids loved having their own space and having a giant week long sleepover.
For the adults, it had a great family room and well equipped kitchen. Latter was important as we cooked all our meals as the restaurants in Angel Fire were meh.
We also got 14" of snow so the skiing was epic!

This was our first trip to Angel Fire and we loved it! The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked. The hot tub was wonderful after days on the slopes. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Angel Fire. Thank you!

Perfect house for our family, in a great location. We really enjoyed our time, and appreciated how well stocked the rental was (spices in the cabinet, washer pods, firewood,etc).

Beautiful home and location. Abundant wildlife and scenery loved by all. More spacious than pictures depicted. Driveway is easy to get in and out. Even with snow, no trouble coming or going. The altitude adjustment in the title had us worried how some would handle the change but no adjustment needed by anyone. Owner contacted ahead of time by message and provided name and number for any needs. Very accommodating.

Property manager was great, texted me with directions for check-in the day before arrival. Offered extra nights at discounted rate due to a cancellation, unfortunately we had to get back to work or would have loved to stay longer. This property was beautiful and perfect for our vacation! Short drive to RR for skiing/shopping, we also ventured to Taos for shopping and of course Angel Fire. Everything from the fireplace, to the hot tub to the game room downstairs was enjoyed by our family. We enjoyed watching the deer outside the property and cooking in the wonderful kitchen. We loved our stay! We’ve stayed in multiple cabins/homes during our ski vacations and the whole family voted this one our favorite!

Altitude Attitude Adjustment
This was a wonderful getaway. We really can't wait to go back someday. The views were amazing and the accommodations took everything into consideration including our foodie preferences. We were able to cook with ease as long as we took the altitude into consideration. Perfect spot to relax and hike around the mountain. Also took advantage of the games and puzzles as were there during a rainy week. Thank you so much for such a wonderful family vacation. Many memories were made that will last a lifetime.

Our AMAZING Stay at "Altitude Adjustment" cabin in Angel Fire
This was the pleasant, quiet, relaxing break that my wife and I were so needing for our Anniversary!!! They have thought of all the amenities that you need, and then some!! We are from New Mexico and the "Enchanted Circle" area is the best!!! We will be back!
