About this apartment rental

This is a unique 2 story antique building that has been completely renovated into 4 small apartments. This property was designed with the porpoise of offering our guest an oasis of peace, tranquility; geared towards meditation and relaxation. Though we are located only few minutes from restaurants, stores, hospitals, universities and much more, once you turn into our street, you will notice the quiet and serine atmosphere of the neighborhood.

This property was perfect for my husband and I for our short stay. Property will be perfect for longer stays in the future, anything needed for meal preparation is available. Unit was exceptionally clean, felt like a home away from home. Quiet area, with easy access to shopping, highways etc.

I was in need of a place to stay for the week while I was in town for my daughter’s softball games. This place was perfect and only 3 miles from the field. On a very quiet street near a beautiful public park on the water. Very comfortable stay.

This little apartment provided a safe, quiet respite while were were in town visiting friends. Loved having our own kitchen and separate living room area. The shower was roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Every room was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I enjoyed my time at the apartment. Very easy to find and commication was great. Was able to fish several of the small lakes on the Winter Haven chain while I was there.

When it came to checking in, this was the most difficult and upsetting experience I’ve ever had. It took the host several contact attempts from Vrbo in order to receive my checkin instructions. Due this I was almost without a place to stay during training for work. After sitting on the phone with Vrbo for an hour and a half I was finally sent the instructions 5 hours after initial checkin time. However, the property was extremely clean and you could tell it was taken care of. Additionally snacks were set out and it felt like a home away from home. My final remark is the listing states it includes a washer and dryer. When staying at other properties that state it has a washer and dryer it is in the unit and ready to use. However, this was not the case. When I messaged the host asking where it was, they replied several hours later stating I would have to pay them additional $10 to utilize the washer and dryer on the property. Overall, the property was great and felt homey. However, there were several bumps that caused too many disruptions for me to be completely satisfied.

The property fit my needs perfectly. The street was very quiet with easy in and out to the main road. The furnishings/pillows were super comfy with TVs in LR and BR (great for watching NFL playoffs 😉). Loved the giant shower with great water pressure. The property could not have been cleaner!

This was my second stay with Gladys, and other than one small hiccup, it was just perfect. The door code didn't work upon arrival, but it was quickly remedied, and Jullianna even came out to check on me. I plan on staying here every time I come to visit.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The host responded promptly to questions. The overall stay was great. The only drawback was the listing was misleading as far as a washer/dryer. There was one on the property, but you had to schedule ahead to use it and there was an additional fee. Otherwise great place!!!

Great little find in Winter Haven, FL. Property is beautiful, quiet area. Everything you needed... add a washer/dryer and it would be fantastic. Communication with the owner was simple. Was a bit disappointed with the description that said laundry available. It is not in the apartment and you have to pay extra and make an appointment to even use. Was not convenient or even available so had to go to a laundromat. Their description was “ washing machine clothes dryer iron & board”. We were not given even a dish cloth to wash the dishes just a 1/2 cut scrub/sponge.

This cute bungalow was very clean and comfortable for my husband and I during our stay. Our one issue was fixed same day. We found the internet connection lacking speed. We weren't familiar with Florida and it served as a central spot in which to look for a new home. Thank you!!

Because of it's good floor plan three adults were comfortable in this small apartment. Kitchenette had all we needed, bath had roomy shower, and bed was comfy and everything was tastefully decorated and super clean. The host immediately responded to a small roof issue. Highly recommend.

This small, adorable apartment was exactly what we needed for our visit in Winter Haven! It was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood and very close to restaurants and shopping! Check in was so easy and any questions we had were responded to quickly! We will definitely stay here again on other trips back to Winter Haven!

I had asked the host for the address a week before we left as I had no way of accessing the info on the road. I was given the address, apt #and door code and her phone number. When we got there, our code would not work so I called her and all had been changed. Also, we were not given any info about the laundry, so we did not have access to that. There was not enough wash cloths and towels for two people for 7 days.

This is a very nice property, situated just a block or so off of a major local roadway. The apartment was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The walkways and parking areas were well-lit. It was a lot like a home away from home. We will definitely consider this property for our next visit to the area.

Apt. C is beautiful! The area was so quiet, even being so close to a busy street. Beautiful, clean, quiet, kitchen stocked with everything you would need, and a super comfortable bed! Our host even left snacks, which were very much appreciated after a long day of traveling.
