We had a tower room. It was quite a different kind of place, but cozy in its very own nostalgic way. Our dog was welcome withour surcharge. We were able to book breakfast for the morning. There was a cozy forest behind the house, perfect for walking the dog. Private parking available in the yard. Very friendly host.

what you’ll find: a rundown shabby two-storey building that resembles a provincial hospital in post-Soviet Russia that was partly renovated some 80 years ago.
and then smb had an idea to bring all the old paintings or old furniture they could find.
Charity: the place seem to benefit local community (kids gather there and the like) so you might see it as a little investment.
there is enough free parking and the hot water pressure was pleasantly strong.
the place is kept clean. shabby but clean.
there are several dogs on the premises. they wont bite you. at least two of them. that’s a plus, right?
no comfort as I know it.
no air-conditioner, no insulation.
the dogs can wake you barking at 5:50 and their ugly barking will cease in some 20 mins or so.

The idea of staying in something a bit like an old castle was great and although a bit of the beaten truck, it was only 20 minutes drive from tourist area Rewal.
The property has an artists touch and something bohemian over the decor. I liked the refurbished bathrooms and the color choice/decor in rooms.
It is obviously a huge job to refurbish and decorate and old run down castle, and it did appear as a work in progress. There was a certain damp smell in most of the building. Beds were not long enough for a tall person. A welcome folder in room would be nice. There were no smoke detectors in room.

Beautiful old palace with limited renovation but with wonderful decoration in the middle of nowhere. Helpful and kind owner, two funny dogs. Delicious and plentiful breakfast, including homemade local delicacies.
Wifi is weak.

Extraordinary old large house being renovated but keeping the old charm. Wonderful location in the middle of nowhere.

Warm and cold breakfast, royal quality and amount.
The yard and the walls need refreshment. The house is still under reconstruction.

Very chilled and unusual place. Shabby chic on a big scale as the owners renovate a very large property, keeping as many original features as possible. We felt at home and free to roam a fascinating building.
Breakfast was good every day but sometimes very good, so not consistent. Very good every day is best :-)

We loved the stay in Palac Paprotno. It was renovated building in the baroque and rustic style, the owner was very nice and helpful, waited for us to arrive even after check in without additional fees. Room was nice furnished with everything what you need. You will get to the sea side in 20 minutes by car. I definitely recommend the place and would come again.

If you like to drift around in a dream of how life was, if you like delicious fresh breakfasts, friendly hosts, quiet surroundings and charm then this is for you. You can drive to the coast in 15 minutes, swim in the sea, spread out on the endless beach and then leave the hustle and bustle behind at the end of the day and relax in the peace with only bird song to guide your thoughts. They let us use a fridge and evenings we could kick back with our cheese and wine. Time let go, we floated.
there is always something not to like, if that is your focus, pity you.

It was a great, climate, quiet a place with an amazing atmosphere and a kind of unique spirit that cannot be experienced anywhere else. It was so nice to walk along the peaceful park, next to the forest pond and meadows in july evenings. The Paprotno Palace is being restored by the owners with great attention to preserving the original spirit of this place, architecture, stucco, décor, furniture and all other details. One chamber is a special rarity, in this chamber intentionally devoid of electricity and running water, visitors have the opportunity to teleport through time and feel like inhabitants of the palace builder's era - it is an exceptional value. The palace though it is spacious was cozy. the owners were wonderful, always smiling, sociable (but not obtrusive!), polite, helpful to every request, well-versed in the nearby topography, they suggest, depending on your needs, where and what to see and visit in the area. Meals served in the palace will satisfy the most fastidious, tasty, a wealth of choice and freshness, delicious! We loved sweet white Misza, the dog.
A unique place, friendly and very hospitable owners!
With a pure heart, we can recommend to everyone !!!
Greetings for owners Agnieszka and Jurek !!!
