Very comfortable log house in a quiet wooded setting. Lots of amenities and a thoughtful hostess.

First time staying at Little Bear Lodge and absolutely loved ! One of the best air B and B’s that we’ve ever stayed in. The house was truly charming and I loved how our host , Cailee provided information on the surrounding areas. From the assorted snacks at check in to the amazing coffee bar as well as fish food for the Koi pond. Would love to stay here again !

This cabin is incredible. We spent a week here and did not want to leave. Warm, homey, very clean, everything you need is there! Cailee is wonderful! Pays attention to every detail, responds quickly.

From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed with this beautiful home. The Decorative details, beautiful outdoor spaces, cleanliness, coffee bar and comfortable living spaces, in addition to the perfect amount of information provided by our host, and a personalized touch (goodie and necessities baskets and a personal note) led us immediately to a 5 star rating on our stay. We highly recommend the Little Bear Lodge as an ideal relaxing vacation spot.

We had a great time at the cabin. It was exactly as described. We were hidden away in the woods like we wanted to be with our two dogs, but close enough to town to enjoy North Conway. Property was close to hiking trails which was a plus. The cabin had little extras when we arrived like a snack box, shampoo and other toiletries that could normally have been forgotten. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway location and hope to go back!

The cabin was clean and very accommodating. There was everything we needed and then some. Sitting in the back with the fountain & the flowers was the best. So relaxing & grounding. Cailee thought of everything! We will definately be back!! :)

Beautiful Log Cabin located in the woods. Peaceful location with a koi pond in the back. It has all the amenities you need. My family spent 11 days of peace and relaxation putting together puzzles, playing yard games, and going for walks. We would rent this location again and HIGHLY recommend it.

The cabin was very clean, well furnished and very peaceful. The ad said there was AC which we took to mean the whole house was air conditioned, not just the bedrooms. It should be noted in the ad that the AC is only upstairs. The problem with the hot water in the shower was inconvenient in that we had to wait several hours for the water to reheat between showers. Overall we had a good stay and give Cailee five stars for the amenities and for making us feel so welcome.

We had a great stay here. It's private, secluded, clean, exactly what we were looking for! There was a personalized welcome letter and basket of goodies for us upon arrival, perfect weekend getaway!

Beautiful secluded cabin. Loved all the little details. Only thing is would have liked a small fence in backyard since dogs are welcomed. Other than that the perfect quiet getaway.

It is very cozy. A well designed environment that puts you at peace. Every thing you need is provided. Even backup slippers and toothbrushes. Amazing little touches like that. The kitchen is well outfitted. Bring your own spices and oil if you’re a chef. The linens, towels and comforters are five star hotel quality. The grill and koi pond were very restful. The hostess even thought to leave some fish food so you can enjoy the koi even more. The fish give a welcome feel. Laundry on site was a thoughtful addition as I did my laundry at the end of the week and came home “clean.” It made getting unpacked so much more pleasant. A convenience store is 2 minutes away. Just an amazing retreat. Thank you Cailee!

This property was amazing. Just what we wanted. Close to many hiking trails and lakes and shopping yet off the beaten path. We totally enjoyed hanging by the fish pond finally after a few days saw the. I would totally recommend this place.

We had a wonderful few days at the property- we wanted a place near Mount Washington that would accommodate dogs. Cailee is a fantastic host and the inside is clean and comfortable. It feels like a true rental property versus living in someone’s home as the decor is minimalistic and modern. We loved the fact that you could hike right from the cabin and see the most vivid night sky while lying in bed. This may be one of my favorite VRBO rentals.

Awsome private location!! This cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It is so great that there wasn't any clutter like alot of places so there was plenty of space to put our own things. The area has so much to offer for hiking and nature. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my two daughters had a such a great stay! We loved the log cabin and the location was enough off the beaten path to make us want to stay a few days longer to have more time to enjoy the woods and view of the koi pond, the sun room and the screened-in porch. But it was so close to so many hiking trails, attractions like the Lost Gorge and shopping at the outlets in North Conway. And the hosts definitely attended to every detail. We’re planning to come back for more time at this gem! Thanks so much for everything!

The perfect hideaway!
What an absolutely beautiful log cabin. Extremely comfortable, very clean and quiet, nicely appointed, and just far enough off the beaten path. We only came up for a weekend visit but we all wish we could’ve stayed much longer. Cailee, the owner, was extremely accommodating and not that we had any issues, but her communication was fantastic. She clearly puts a lot of effort into making sure her guests feel at home and welcomed. Everything from the snacks she lays out to our personalized letter welcoming us to the cabin and pointing out her guides. The cabin sits on a fantastic little piece of land with a fishpond (Cailee provided some fish food and instructions) and some beautiful landscaping. You feel at any point you could look outside and see all types of wildlife running around. You could easily forget how close you are to civilization here.
Easily one of my favorite places to stay and we really look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much Cailee for making your cabin available to us. We will be booking with you soon again.

Amazing!
The pictures don't do it justice! Surrounded by trees with a beautiful mountain view that was stunning. The cabin is just far away from the hoopla to feel like you are 100 miles into the woods. With two twin beds,a queen and a pull out couch (that is actually comfortable) the cabin was the perfect size for two adults, two teenagers and our Black Lab. The owner Cailee went above and beyond with the house being fully stocked with TP,papertowel, trash bags and all other essentials. A fully stocked coffee bar (kcups and creamers included!) A welcoming picnic basket with a few essential snacks and multiple towels and soaps in both bathrooms. Having the essentials upon arrival made all the difference. We had a wide variety of weather during our three night stay. Yesterday was 60+ and sunny. This morning we woke up to 2 inches of snow 😁 We have spent most of our lives renting different cabins in NH & Maine and we all agreed this cabin was definitely the cleanest and most welcoming place we have ever stayed. I would 100% recommend this property.

Cozy Cabin Retreat
Our family had an amazing time at Little Bear Lodge! Our kids thought all the thoughtful amenities (sleep mask, slippers, snacks) made the stay so "fancy"! My husband and I loved turning on the gas wood stove while we had our coffee in the morning and then again after a day of skiing, snowshoeing, skating. Our dog also loved curling up next to the warmth of the gas wood stove after a day romping in the snow. The location was a perfect launching place for our winter adventures- just 10 minutes from King Pine and so many snowshoe and xc trails! Cailee was a wonderful host and we hope to stay with her again!

Wonderful Winter Get-A-Way
You don't usually think of hospitality when you are paying to stay somewhere, but that is the first word that comes to mind. We felt welcome and hosted.
Not only was the cabin clean, warm, comfortable, quaint ... it really felt like it was "ours" for the stay.
We enthusiastically recommend this to our friends as a terrific location. Out of the hectic zone but close enough to the wonderful attractions of the White Mountains. PS - we loved Bear Notch Ski Touring Center just up the road from Attitash for some terrific groomed trails, so did our 3yr old Labrador who likes to romp with us while we ski.

quiet cabin star
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Cailee did such a wonderful job in her book outlining everything that was important including some menus for some local places to get food.
We wanted to take it vantage of the cabin experience and spent most of the time cooking there.

Pre-Holiday getaway
This was a nice relaxing opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. The house has the rustic look and feel that you would expect from a log cabin but is very cozy and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to questions and the driveway cleared very quickly after the snow. The secluded location was great for quiet and privacy as well as for exploring the woods and paths. We snowshoed down the railroad tracks to Silver lake and around the hills and ponds beyond the power lines. I wish we had the time to stay longer so we could explore the area more.

Great cabin in a peaceful surrounding and close to everything
Wow what a beautiful place Little bear lodge is. We had such a great time and would love to come back again. The location couldn't be better, within minutes to North Conway and yet the feeling of being away from it all.

This cabin was a great place to spend our vacation. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and it was close to so many things to do outdoors. Our dog had a blast too! It was also within a short driving distance to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants.

Perfect Log Cabin near the White Mountains!
Little Bear Lodge is a beautiful log home in a quiet area, but close to everything we wanted to do on our fall weekend getaway with our two huskies! Cailee was very accommodating, provided us with all the information we needed and the house was super clean and cozy!

Little Bear Cabin
We had a wonderful stay at Little Bear Cabin. It was the perfect getaway. A secluded cabin in the mountains was exactly what we were looking for. The grounds were breathtaking especially the koi pond. we looked forward to feeding the fish every morning. It was dog friendly so we were able to bring our collie Spencer. Cabin was clean and well appointed. Loved the glass enclosed room that overlooked the beautiful landscape and the screened in porch that allowed you to sit out without being bothered by the bugs. Cailee was the perfect host and would love to stay there again
