Enjoy an ocean front beach home with your own private beach access, it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms about 1627sqft. Large backyard with amazing view of the Battery Light house, endless ocean views. This house has its own private backyard great for good games of corn hole, BBQ or just sit down relax look up and out and enjoy the ocean views. You’ll see many boats sailing by, hear and see the birds flying above or chasing one another in the sky and hopefully experience whales spouting during their winter migration. “What's that sound?” you ask your partner, “its sea lions!” While you hear the sea lions enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks and the shoreline. Sit outside on the outdoor furniture, enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings, with great views of the sunset.

About the owners:
Hello, we are Ed and Lee. We went on a road trip during the 2019 winter break, headed towards Washington and Oregon coastlines with our children. We love to visit the many beaches along the way. Once we headed back home into California, we stopped at Cresent City, which we’ve never visit. We had to get out and enjoy the beach and smell the ocean breeze. As we were hanging out on the beach playing and admiring the homes along the oceanfront. We took many pictures and told ourselves (the four of us), “We will own one of those homes,” by the beach or along the ocean one day.
Fast forward spring 2020, a dream came true. This beautiful oceanfront -beach home, all in one, one of a kind home came on the market, after looking at many homes along pebble beach in Crescent City. Yes, we found our future retired home, vacation home and a home we are fortunate to offer to share amongst our families, friends, and guests from all around. It is so wonderful, eye catching, breath taking and unbelievable real.

With amazing views of the beach and lighthouse (and private beach access), this property is only minutes away from the redwoods. Best place ever for relaxation, listening to the surf, and enjoying a hike. Would love to stay again sometime in the future!

The house was a little dated in its finishings, but the location was great! The biggest drawbacks were the single shower off of the kitchen and the lack of air conditioning. The former is workable, although a little tougher for a big family. The latter is probably fine most of the time with the ocean breezes, but the house was a bit stuffy when closed up.
All-in-all, it was as advertised and a great place to base your visit to the Redwoods like we did. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend others do too!

We loved the view of the ocean!! The beds were comfortable, kitchen was clean and had everything needed. Cozy living room. We enjoyed our time there totally!

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location to enjoy the ocean in the morning and the evenings and to explore the redwoods and wild coast during the day.
The house was very clean. I picked and ate blackberries off the bushes in the back.
The surf and tides, and rocks were all wonderful scenery.

This beach house made for a spectacular starting point for exploring the nearby Redwoods and California and Oregon coastline. Watching the sunset from the beach and waking up to crashing waves was amazing! The house is well stocked including a spice rack and other thoughtful amenities. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely visit again!

This house was the perfect home base for my family while we visited the many surrounding attractions and the Redwoods. The hosts provided many extras that most hosts do not. There were plenty of towels for everyone and the shower even included shampoo, conditioner and body wash! The beds were amazing - so comfortable! There are private stairs down to the beach and tide pools. And you just can’t beat that view! I spent a lot of time just standing at the windows taking in that view. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend this house to anyone visiting the area.

The owners were so responsive and kind. I’ve never communicated with any other property owners like Ed and Lee. They’ve really set the bar high for me now as to how they operate their business. These are great people who put alot of love and care into their house!

This probably our 5thVRBo. Had a fisherman with us so we tried crab nets off the B street pier. Home location was perfect for our needs. View is spectacular. Really enjoyed our time her and home to visit there again

This home is vintage in some ways and updated where necessary. The living areas are spacious, and the great room has a spectacular view of the ocean and lighthouse. There are private steps down onto a nice sandy beach with tidal pools beyond. The lighthouse is a short walk down the beach.
There is no traffic noise since the home is situated on a quiet side street.

This property has an absolutely stunning view. Maybe the best equipped kitchen in any Vrbo I have stayed. Very well stocked with towels/linens. Nice washer with 2 dryers! As advertised no A/C. Unfortunate no screen on front door or sliding glass door in master bedroom to allow for cross breeze. Upon arrival 5 mats at front door, one requesting removal of shoes. Entering we encountered plastic runners throughout house and more mats and area rugs. We considered all these trip hazards. The carpet throughout the house stained and in our opinion overdue for replacement. If you don't mind dirty carpet and lack of screens the view is stunning. As for our group view couldn't overcome carpet and lack of screens.

We had an amazing time! We stayed on this property with the ocean right outside our backdoor. I fell asleep and woke to the sound of ocean waves. Great location for walking to many local restaurants and attractions. Short distance by car to our activities such as river and ocean kayaking as well as a whale watching tour. Short drive to many hiking trails in The Redwoods. Communication with property owner was prompt and they were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!! ❤️

Clean, comfortable home close to the redwoods. Exactly as shown in the photos. The view of the lighthouse and Pacific from the back porch is stunning. Absolutely beautiful. The owners are quick to respond to any concerns. Would definitely stay here again if we find our way back in the area one day.

We didn't stay in the house for long due to other adventures but it was the perfect adventure and home away from home for our party, ages 6 to 70. The house was equipped with all the essentials - very spacious living room, kitchen and bedrooms. The only one shower and only one bath took some getting used to but worked well for the 6 year old. The sea and land wildlife right in the backyard was nothing we have ever experienced - it made the entire trip!

Wow! What a stunning place to stay!! The house is exactly as described and does not disappoint- So peaceful and perfect for our family! Starting the day with a walk and a dip in the calm water of the still bay and finishing with a glass of wine at the end, was simply perfect. The house had everything we needed and was very peaceful. Would definitely rebook and recommend this house to anyone who is looking in the area!

This home was the perfect place for our family as we explored the Redwoods. We enjoyed our stay. The home is clean and the yard is well kept. It was fun to explore the tidal pools and the lighthouse. Temps are cool and layers are necessary in this area. The restaurant recommendations and activities were very helpful and we enjoyed our trip very much! The house is well stocked and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay over Memorial Day. The weather was okay but the view was outstanding. We walked along the beach, explored the tide pools and relaxed on a piece of paradise. We will be booking here again and again.

The view is exactly as described. However there are issues with the property itself. One being overall security of the sliding glass doors. I let the property manager know of the issue of not being able to lock the back door. He had his handyman come out and look at it and all they were able to do was to cut a larger stick to put in the door so it would not be able to be opened.
Overall the house is dated and has a musty smell. The house could use a facelift as well as some new furniture.
We have stayed in many cabins cottages houses condos etc., we were expecting a nice home and ended up in, what was more like a cottage.

Perfect location right on the beach! We played in the tidepools, watched the most beautiful sunset on the porch, and hiked some of the best trails we have ever experienced. Living room was very comfy for all hanging out together. Shower was very nice and new and we loved the heat light! Plenty of towels for all of us, we did wish the house had 2 showers, as we had 4 adults, but we knew that before hand. Beds were comfy as well. THANK YOU for hosting our family and a huge thank you mailing back our last load of laundry!!!

The oceanfront views and access were fantastic! It was great sitting out on the patio and enjoying the sights and sounds. That was one of the highlights of our trip. We had plenty of space for 4 adults.
We did feel the cooking pans were extremely worn and after using them once the food stuck and we realized they couldn’t be used. We also felt the beds were uncomfortable.

The house was clean, beds were comfy, and was within walking distance to the best restaurant on town (the brewery). We'd highly recommend!

Our family of 4 enjoyed the stay here, loved the private beach access and location in town. Plenty of space, but when we were there, we spent most time on the beachfront patio watching the Pacific. Easy access to Redwood National & State Parks, both to the north and south, which is a must see. The tide pooling below the house was awesome, as well as beach walks and a visit to the lighthouse. Owners had very fast communication for a few questions we had during our stay, we would highly recommend this property!
