About this house rental
Come relax in the Southern Appalachian Mountains and stay on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. This retreat is the real deal!! You will not want to leave. We have spared no expense to make this a luxurious, comfortable and relaxing experience for our guests.
The house was built in 2019 and has every modern luxury you could need for a wonderful getaway. The Great Room has a massive vaulted ceiling with a wall of windows overlooking Lake Blue Ridge. There are 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (bunk room sleeps 6). This retreat has all the amenities - brand new upscale furnishings, four fireplaces, 8 TVs, and a fully stocked modern chef's kitchen. It is a 2 minute walk to Lake Blue Ridge Marina and a 4 minute drive to Downtown Blue Ridge. Enjoy two outdoor living spaces with an amazing view of pristine Lake Blue Ridge and mountains in the distance (both have fireplace and TV), single slip private dock (with upper deck), huge fire pit, games galore, private hot tub, indoor lounge area, full size cocktail arcade table with over 400 games, indoor shuffleboard table, outdoor ping pong, large poker table, canoe, kayaks, float toys, gas grill.......the list goes on. Bring your boat or rent one locally. This house is perfect for 6 adults plus kids (8 adults without kids). High end luxury towels , bathroom amenities, and luxury bedding throughout. Outdoor teak dining table for 12, indoor dining table for 10 next to counter with 4 stools so the dining area seats 14 total. We promise you that the upstairs outdoor living area will become your new "happy place".

*** Lake Blue Ridge is controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). This means that the lake water level is lowered during the off season..... the dock may sit on dry lake bed from approximately early-September to late-April. This was our second trip to this property. It is immaculate, gorgeous and so well maintained. We are ready to plan our next trip back to Lake Blue Ridge. The host, David, is great. He want’s everything to be better than you expected.

This was just the perfect house for what we needed as family and friends. Everything we were looking for, wanted and more. 6 night stay, which ultimately wasn’t enough. We rented a boat from an outside vendor for 3 days which didn’t give us enough time to utilize everything the house had to offer. Location location location was amazing, on the lake, marina bar/restaurant a stones throw away, and downtown Blue Ridge a 5 minute drive. 4 fireplaces and a fire pit……..we can’t wait to come back in the Winter!!!

Beautiful home with an amazing location. We really enjoyed all the amenities the home offers and being so close to town. The host was excellent at communication and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation.

Our stay in Blue Ridge was terrific. This lake side cabin was absolutely gorgeous, accommodating and convenient. The close proximity to the marina which has boat rentals and a restaurant was an added bonus. The owner was very commutative and polite. We will definitely book this cabin again and again.

Beautiful lake front home super convenient to downtown Blue Ridge! We stayed at this home over spring break. It adequately fit 13 people which included 3 family’s- 6 adults & 7 kids (ages 5 to 10).
The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. It was nice having such a large dining room table indoors as well as outdoors so we all could enjoy eating together. The lake level was low which we had expected already, but the kids thoroughly enjoyed still getting the kayak & canoe out! Lower level outdoor fire pit was great and this particular property owner even has firewood stocked so we didn’t have to worry about buying wood, which was a great added value! Hiking trails were nearby as well.
David was amazing with communicating, quickly.
Would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a lake front property that is also close/convenient to all of what Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas have to offer.

The house was exactly as described, well stocked and very very clean. Great communication with the owner from arrival to departure. We were a family of 11 with children aged 2-10 and we all fit comfortably and had a great time.

We were disappointed that we weren't told that the lake was so low... so low that the view was impeded and the dock was sitting on a dry land.
The home was lovely. We cook a lot and the kitchen was well stocked.

This place is amazing! It has a beautiful lake/mountain view and we saw a gorgeous sunrise each morning! The house has everything you need for a large group. The kids loved playing video games and ping pong. There were also many family games to play. We enjoyed Scattergories and Scrabble. Since we cooked our dinners there, we appreciated the high end appliances with double ovens and lots of dishes and silverware. The kitchen has everything you need! The outdoor fireplace became our favorite spot each evening. There was lots of firewood provided. The owner checked in with us and had great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was as described and even better in person. Our host, David, actively checked in and answered even the smallest questions we had promptly. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a group of friends and family and this could not have been a better set-up. Perfect access to the lake and plenty of games / activities around the house for the kids. I cannot recommend this property enough!

The house and location are perfect. The dock is in a cove that made it great for floating without worrying about being in the way of boats, and plenty of floats and kayaks were provided. The house itself is gorgeous, with lots of games/activities to keep everyone entertained. The house is also an extremely easy and quick walk to the marina restaurant, which was very convenient for grabbing lunch/dinner.
David was very responsive to any questions I had.

This house has it all… the view is amazing, super close and convenient to pop in to Blue Ridge, the marina and restaurant is a two minute walk. it’s a quiet little cove in the lake and despite being close the the marina it felt very secluded and peaceful. the house itself has EVERYTHING you need, very well stocked, lots of room to spread out, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels, games, hot tub, lake toys and more. The host was very responsive. i would definitely go back to this house, we LOVED it.

We had a blast on Blue Ridge lake. The house is beautiful and was the perfect size for our group with plenty to do on rainy days. It was my 60th birthday celebration! The town is close by with restaurants and groceries. We also enjoyed whitewater rafting on Oconee River. David is very responsive to questions. We will stay again!

Our family has talked for years about doing a family getaway. With the majority of us residing in Florida (the rest in New York), we landed on Blue Ridge as our destination. We searched high and low for a property that could accommodate 13 with all the amenities we wanted. This place hit all the marks! We absolutely loved the house, the high end features such as quality towels and linens, and the fully stocked kitchen. Beds were super comfortable. We have two young children so we especially loved the trundle beds in the suite above the garage. The views were lovely and the fishing great. So many thoughtful details went into this property. We traveled with five children ages 15, 9, 8, 8 and 7 and they loved fishing off the dock, the hot tub, using the floats, and playing ping pong. We even got into the board games and had a family game night. We brought our own boat and rods, and although we couldn’t put in at the marina down the street, we found another one a few minutes away. You could certainly rent a boat too, and you’ll want to, to really enjoy the lake. We went fishing and tubing and swimming, it was gorgeous. And our host David was super responsive to all our inquires and needs during our stay. You’ll love this place!

We had our family vacation in BR this year. This property did not disappoint!! Kitchen was fully loaded, location on lake was perfect, beds were extremely comfortable, and plenty of activities for the kids ranging from 6-15 years old. Perfect house for a perfect family vacation!!!!

We enjoyed a long weekend at this property for a girls trip. The property was very spacious with plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub - with snow flurries in fact! Beautiful sunrises over the lake!

First of all, the pictures of this house/property try but don’t compare to the actual thing. Of course, we came in the winter(for water adventures, the dry season…so the dock needed to be pulled up. Yet, we still had access to a canoe and kayaks if we wanted.) I bet the view is even better in the summer when the lake is full. Second, the house is stunning. One can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and details. If you love attention to design, you will really appreciate the quality of the products used to build the house…the interior walls/ceilings are wood but manage to mix tones with drywall/paint that do not overwhelm with a “log cabin” feel…the decks out back are wonderful…where we spent a lot of time(and thanks to the firewood delivery we received, we took full advantage of wood burning options, which are 2…one off the main level and one down by the water/fire pit)…of course, we loved the gas indoor fireplace options…one on each level…..the kitchen is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with top of the line appliances ..there are plenty of seating options that are close to the eat-in dining room so that no one feels left out during mealtime..one of the bedrooms is separate and over the garage…like a retreat with its own kitchenette and bathroom….this allows for 2 primary options which is extremely helpful if you have 2 families staying together…concerning the details, there are too many to count….the kitchen is stocked with EVERYTHING you could need…high end pots and pans, dishes, utensils…I could go on and on….there are plenty of towels not only for the bathrooms but, on the lower level, there is what I call a built-in towel organizer! There are towels for water sports plus towels designated for the hot tub. The lower level bar area is also stocked with more bar accessories then one could use. And, let me just mention the lower level “shuffle board”(what I call it anyway!)…..the tournaments we had with this “toy” provided memories that we will never forget! Finally, the proximity to the town of Blue Ridge, not to mention the grocery store, makes this the ultimate property. The owners were available at a moment’s notice (because of communication we had with them right before and as we entered the house) and seemed ready to help if we ever needed it during our stay (which we didn’t.) I would recommend this property over and over again…..well worth it!

Some places we have stayed use "creative photography" to advertise their properties. Not so here, this place was really well-built and finished with top notch furniture and appliances. David checked on us on arrival but we had not a single issue so no further communication needed. Really well done. I hope we can come back in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at this house. It was very nice inside and out, very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was great being so close to downtown. We spent a lot of time on the patio with a fire watching football. Will come back again soon.

Everything was perfect. Super nice, clean, decorated so well and beautiful view of the lake. Fully stocked kitchen. Very close to blue ridge downtown and right near the marina. Our family of 4 and a family of 5 stayed. The kids loved the bunk room. The weather was amazing as well.

This house was better than we could have imagined! The owners were very responsive to every question we had before our visit and we didn't have any problems with the home at all- it was perfect! There were a total of 10 of us and the house was plenty of room for us to spread out but yet we could all come together for big family meals. We loved the outdoor living spaces and watching GA football in front of a roaring fire! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything we could possibly need to feed 10 people all weekend. We will definitely be back!

This home is perfect for a family with teens. There is so much for them to do. The lake is certainly perfect for all the entertainment you need but in the evenings it was fantastic for them to play poker or hang in the hot tub or play ping ball. Grateful for the chance to have a weekend here!

Spent the week with family at this fantastic property. It's so much more than just a vacational rental... it's a home you'd love to come back to. Owners did wonderful job making sure your experience was all about your vacation by providing everything you need. It is a 5 Star property and the photographs do not lie. It was close to the Marina, minutes from downtown shopping and restaurants; easy drive to a number hiking trails, and the view.... Wow!! the view from the deck drinking your morning coffee- it just didn't get any better. We enjoyed watching movies outside, ping pong tournaments, evening fires around the fire pit, swimming off the dock, the hot tub- that just scratches the surface of the fun we had and what amenities this property offers. Thank you for sharing this home with strangers!! We hope to make this an annual family vacation spot. Susan H
