Perfect spot to unwind and relax with my sweetheart.

SO CLEAN!!! Amazing views- fell asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Pool was gorgeous. Close to everything you may need. We plan to come back and stay for a week.

NEVER AGAIN!!!

We reserved 3rd floor for a view of the ocean. We got 2nd floor with a slight view of the ocean between the dunes. Told person at the desk, they basically shrug and don't do anything to make it right. Found bedbugs...not kidding. Took a picture, asked google what it was and that's what it came up with. We left the next day. Didn't stay for the two nights we reserved. Sand on top of the dresser and on the furniture. $25 extra charge if you don't wash dishes before you leave. No forks. Rusted oven that you couldn't open. Rusted towel racks. Storm door that had to be forced to get to the deck. Someone upstairs taking a bath, soapy water came up through our sink along with gas/sewer smell.

Anything would be better!! Run away from this bed bug infested mess.

Pleasant stay

Ocean front with a balcony. Very quiet motel, even being pet friendly could not hear neighbors. The only thing we heard was the ocean. Room was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Located right on the beach but local to all shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Only things were the no elevator but we managed to get our exercise in and the hottub was closed for maintenance. Wish it would have been open.

Beautiful beachfront location and pet friendly. Very nice staff.

Rooms could use a few cosmetic updates, but very comfortable and clean.

Beautiful views, great location

Loved how close it was to the ocean! Being on the bottom floor (#4), we were just a few steps from the sand. Tv was bigger than I expected, came with pots and pans, lots of drawers and room for our luggage. Great price, especially for the location! Beautiful view from the inside as well. We loved how close it is to stores, The Dunes was a great place for breakfast right down the road. Will definitely come back again!

We were surprised that on the patio, there is no separation at all on the bottom floor. The back door is a hollow cheap interior door that didn't lock. The coffee pot didn't work.

Suitable for our one night stay. Reasonable price.

Location. A nice beach walk to Jennettes pier. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Decent linens.

Steep stairs up to room. No wardrobe to hang clothing, just a few small hooks. Furnishing and fixtures dated as it’s an old motel. Virtual check in somewhat cumbersome. Spoke with a person on a computer monitor!

Weigh the good & bad before booking...

The view from the third floor balcony was beautiful It was pet-friendly (with a reasonable fee) Nice size kitchenette The "Stair Tamer" that we found when we were leaving (a lift machine for loading/unloading luggage)

Automated/interactive check-in kiosk with barely any actual staff (I saw two real people in 4 days) No elevator - very steep, narrow steps without proper handrails - dangerous, and a total liability! **Disclaimer about the following: we came during the effects of Hurricane Lee... but the outdoor pools hadn't had any water added to them for a week or more, so bugs and debris were on top, and sand was covering the bottoms. All the furniture was disorganized and covered with sand - it very much could have been looked after better, no question, even with the winds being higher than usual. The bathroom is NOT made for larger people or claustrophobic people, period. So uncomfortable. No one tends to the room during your stay, which is nice but you have to fetch more of what you might need in a separate building down two flights of stairs. The balcony is private, which is lovely, but the sides are like a bathroom stall, so our mini dachshund had to stay on a leash when we were outside, which sucks.

Access to the beach.

It was awful. The first night I was there, the people above me were stomping all around until 1 am. The moving furniture at 9 am. I was on the first floor and my room description was ocean front with a balcony. I told the manager about the people and write booking customer service. I had a dune view and no balcony. It was a long concrete walkway with high chairs for all the people in front of the room. The cold water at the sink in the bathroom was hot and the hot water hot. Both the soap dispenser and shampoo dispenser were empty in the shower. Luckily I brought my own. I never received an apology from the manager for all the noise. He said the people checked out. And he said "all the rooms are ocean front...a NB d I said it should have be seen by stated dune view. Very dis appointing. And the coffee for the coffee maker was weak for the whole pot. I'm still waiting on this website to see if I will be compensated.

Exceptional

I loved the indoor pool and Hot Tub. My husband was in awe of the automated check-in and out system.

I wasn't too impressed with Nags Head itself. I found the southern part of OBX to be more senenic. The hotel itself was great, a bit older, but it was affordable, with great ocean front views, clean with comfortable bedding, and NO BUGS I CHECKED!!! Overall, it was an excellent choice for a 1 night spur of the moment trip.

excellent location… and distance from the beach. great patio furniture on the balcony… 3rd floor balcony had beautiful view. great looking motel.. kind staff

question about the indoor pool being available… seemed as if that was being screened… originally being told there was work being done to it… but we’re able to use after we checked in… just got a feeling that we were being told “work was being done to it” but seemed just screening who could and couldn’t use it.. or maybe because we got a cheaper rate from booking… not sure. for the price this place is great! stayed here many times throughout the years

Great location on the beach but the facilities and cleanliness were terrible

I liked that we had a balcony with access to the beach and were a short distance from all of the stores in nags head.

We were called the day after we were able to cancel our reservations without a fee and were told that the indoor pool and hot tub were not going to be open and that they would call us the day of our check in to let us know where keys will be located, fast forward to we are driving there and I was not able to reach anyone at all until an hour before our scheduled arrival time and I was sent a text stating the key is in the room and the door would be left unlocked. There were two dead cockroaches under the beds (which we paid for a queen room but were given two double beds) and the floor was still covered in sand.

the hot tub and pool was shut down and they didn’t let us know through booking. changed our room upon arrival and we had no heat and no blankets and nobody at the office to help us. so this was the worst birthday I have ever spent. paid too much money for this stay. very upset with staff and accommodations. will never book again.

View was worth the price

Ocean view was amazing- stayed on second level, had views of the ocean on one side, and the bay on the other. Beach was right outside the hotel! Location was right in the middle of everything, and restaurants close by.

Toilet needed to be attached to the floor- it rocked every time we sat on it. Alos had very noisy neighbors who had a big fight while we were there (not the hotel's fault of course)
