Its a nice little puddle with some toys to play with. Not much sun or any view for that matter. Nice clean porta john to do your business lol. Theres power there but located at the top of the hill need a 500 ft powercord if you want to use at the tent.be sure to use surge protector i fried my kurig, that about ended my glamping trip. Very close neighbors made us feel as though we we're at there wknd BBQ.but we weren't invited. Listened to them and there music selections until well after midnight. Oh and i wanted to mention the dog across the way that thinks it's a rooster. Barking like it was being beat before the sun came up. We Booked for 3 nights left after one. Other than all that it's a nice place.Sorry for the review. The place is nice the owners take good care. Its just the surrounding environments which are not in the owners control that are unfavorable.Cant win em all i guess.Happy Camping.

Friendly host, responded in timely manner. Spots are cleared. Having 4 wheel drive is a plus as the hill is very steep and I'm to old to carry gear. The electricity was a huge plus as we have cpap machines makes getting out to nature easier. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset. The dock is fun to watch the little fish. Had a relaxing time. Thank you

Love this little campsite! Second time staying and plan to book again in the future. Outhouse + kayaks & little shed full of activities is a nice touch.

This was my friends' third annual camping trip to this property and we love it! The restroom is extremely clean every time, there are plenty of kayaks/canoes to get everyone out on the lake, and the sunset view from the dock can't be beat.

Two friends and I spent a lovely, unusually hot weekend camping here, and we really enjoyed our time! The site is clean, well-maintained and well-stocked (including a very clean port-a-potty), and it’s accurately described in the listing. We easily set up two tents and could have fit a third if needed.
As others have noted, this property is at the end of a road and located between two other properties, but it still felt private - we felt like we were a part of the lake community. We loved the dock, kayaks, and canoes - such a fabulous touch!
Our hosts were helpful and communicative, and they clearly care about providing a great experience for their guests. We’d definitely stay again!

My friends and I needed a trip to show our friend a fun tie before he moves. This was exactly what we wanted. Good private camping area on a lake with great fishing. We did not have to worry about canoes or kayaks as they were supplied and in great condition. Porta-potty was clean with TP and and hand sanitizer. Great trip and will do again!

Great camp on the lake
Had a nice stress free weekend camping here. It's a great wooded spot right on the water. The lot is sloped, but it is large and has a few good flat areas to setup camp so it's not an issue. Portable toilet was very clean. Kayaks and canoes were in good shape ready to explore the lake.
The owner was very responsive and helped us locate an extra air mattress - even called the store to check on stock - Thank you!

Family Fun
We were so excited to find this property on our search for a private campsite! It had all we needed (plenty of space to set up our tent, kayaks, canoes, life vests, fire pit, dock, water fun) and then some to keep our 5 sons entertained for 5 days. We loved the quiet atmosphere of being nestled behind the privacy island from the main waterway. And the water was shallow enough for the boys to jump in at our dock. Fishing was great! Highly recommend this to anyone who loves fishing, the water and adventure!

Site was very clean and location was perfect! Would highly recommend.
My friends and myself stayed there for all of Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. Kayaks, fireplace, beautiful lake view and more than enough space for tents. Great place to escape stress with family or friends.

Absolutely fantastic camping and fishing spot. Not ideal for small children or elderly.
This property is the place for an ultimate camping and fishing weekend. The 5 of us went for a bachelor party and had an absolute blast. The spot is easy to get to, just 30 second walk down a steep hill from the road. Very clean and even though you're somewhat surrounded by houses and private property it felt like your own personal area. The site had enough room for three tents and plenty of room for other things like tables chairs etc. The ability to have power (up near the entrance to the site) allows you to bring a coffee pot and charge phones. Coffee pot was a huge luxury. The site is right on the river with a dock you can catch fish off of. We had two fish landed (and released) before our morning coffee. Two canoes two kayaks and a nice aluminum boat were there for our use and we were on the water more than land.
I could keep going but it's time to wrap this up. The only downside of the whole site is that there are some VERY nasty tree roots all over the place down by the river. With that and the hill I don't recommend this place for young children or elderly because you will definitely trip and fall in the dark. For the middle of May we were pleasantly surprised at the activity in the lake. We had about 90 fish for the weekend. Catch and release. Book this place, you won't regret it.

Family Retreat
This was the perfect home for our extended family. The open common spaces gave us room to spread out and enjoy. We enjoyed nights by the fire pit and grilling out. The beach day at Carry was perfect. Even on Saturday when it rained we had a lazy breakfast , some took naps, watched movies, or just caught up on a long overdue visit with loved ones. Thank you so much.

Perfect getaway right on the water.
The campsite was extremely clean and stocked with everything you need, firewood, boats, canoes, kayaks, fishing poles etc. The was a portapotty on site the was clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The site had its own private dock and the fishing was awsome. I will definitely be coming back because I like the privacy and the fact that the owners kept the place well stocked.
