A beautiful community off the beaten path from the masses. The convenience of a bathroom, shower and stacked washer and dryer on the way in from the beach was a bonus.

Very Disappointing!!!!
Very Disappointing!!!!
To begin with we made a reservation for the Main House not the guest house and booking.com changed it to the guest house without even asking us. When we arrived late at night like we had notified vacasa of in advance there was NO KEY... we called and was told a key would be brought to us. Waited 30 minutes ...no key. Finally we received a call that we had to drive back to office where we got the paperwork to get a key. There was a car parked in basically both the parking spots we were suppose to get with the rental the entire time of our stay. Once inside....The sheets were covered in hair (& I don't mean one or 2...it was black hair all over the white sheets)... it was seriously gross!!!! It most definitely was NOT CLEAN!!!! Also, they had 2 Keurig coffee pots but had no pods.... had a pre-filled coffee filter for a regular coffee pot....which did us no good at all. The walk way to the beach if basically the main houses sidewalk... you have to basically get on the porch of the main house to get to beach... very awkward!!! The beach itself was beautiful!!! However, the house was definitely lacking... especially for the price!!!

Nice place

Absolute beautiful beach house and neighborhood!
While staying here I did notice a few things.. We did see a few ants in the kitchen area and a two small roaches, we also did go the day after a hurricane hit near the area and there was a lot of flooding in this area.. so that may have been the issue with the ants and roaches.
Our refrigerator had a real bad shrimp odor, not sure why.
Our first day there we did notice our floors were dirty in the downstairs area.
We did not have any pillows or blankets for the pullout sofa.
Other than that we had a really good time and it is a beautiful place to stay. The beach access was very convenient also.

The place was very clean and well kept! Up to date decor! Perfect set up for our family of 4 with 2 small children! Beach walkover right outside the side door, just a few steps from the beach. Only recommendation is I would add more hooks in the bathrooms to hang bathing suits or beach towels 😊

Location is great!
Location is great!
While there are some things the owners or property managers can do to make this more suited for a family, the location is worth the 4 stars. Even though it's the guest house you are still allowed to use the walkway to the beach that is attached to the main house which makes going to and from the beach super convenient. For us, this was priceless! Parking was a negative.. the guests in the main house had multiple vehicles and parked one of them right in front of the guest house the entire time and never moved it even though they get use of the dedicated driveway. So, when it says you have dedicated parking, you do not. If you are a family, there is no where to eat dinner together. There is a very small bistro table and 2 stools in the kitchen. The coffee table can not even be converted because it's a cloth top so you can't even set a drink on it while sitting at the couch. Our biggest complaint was the ants.. we spent a lot of time clearing the countertops of ants. Even though we'd be extra careful to leave nothing on them, we'd come home to ants everywhere every time. We did call the property manager and, to their credit, they came and sprayed twice but it didn't seem to make a dent. The upstairs sleeping arrangement was great for a couple and kids. Very clean and comfortable.
