Beautiful room and lovely hotel. Can’t beat the ski in and ski out!!

Lions square lodge is one of my favorites, we have stayed here a few times, and you honestly can’t beat the location and amenities

Really enjoyed my stay. Property is right next to Eagle Bahn gondola, and there's a ski valet, so no worries about lugging around your equipment. Close to restaurants, bars, and walkable to Vail Village (as long as the weather cooperates). Also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to wherever I was going in the area. Will definitely consider staying again.

Even tho the room is tiny, it is adequate for the ski in/out feature. The cabinets and fridge/toaster oven/micowave makes the small space functional and adequate. Pool/hot tub on property are great. Just cannot beat the location... steps from the gondola!

Nothing bad to say about this property

The location was perfect, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was wonderful as well. The few things I’d like to see different is property was incredibly warm, almost hot. Also, our sink was leaking. Overall the stay was great and we would stay again.

I loved the location, true ski in ski out, I loved the staff, very helpful, concierge and the front desk as well as housekeeping. I just wish the unit had enough chairs for everyone to sit around the table, otherwise it was a wonderful experience. Just an FYI, we got an additional chair upon request.

Have been coming to Vail for years. This was by far one of my favorite stays. Can't beat the location the staff is amazing! Joe in Valet was incredible. His knowledge of the town and customer service was the best!!! My teenagers calling him uncle Joe!! I selfiishly did not want to write this as I feel like I found a secret in Vail !!!❤️❤️

There are so many good things to say about this VRBO, so I will try to hit the highlights. First of all, the Lion Square Lodge is conveniently located to the gondola. We walked out the door to get our skis and snowboards at the ski valet, which is included in the stay. The equipment is locked up nightly and the valet opens at 8:30am. We grabbed our equipment and walked fifty steps to the gondola. Secondly, the lodge itself has so many things to offer, such as a hot tub, heated pool, business office and washer/dryers. The facility provides washing powder,so you don't have to bring your own. The lobby has a coffee bar, which provides coffee, tea and hot chocolate daily. You can sit by the fire place and enjoy your morning beverage as you look out the windows at the slope or read the local paper, which is provided. The concierge Julie is so helpful if you need suggestions for excursions or dinner. The facility provides a free shuttle service to the village, so you don't have to drive to dinner reservations or to shopping. When you are ready to return to the condo, you can call the shuttle to come pick you up as long as it is before 10:30pm. If you need to stay out longer, then the city shuttle runs daily until 2am. We felt that this shuttle service was a huge benefit and so easy to use. I did not drive my rental anywhere. It was parked for the week.
As for the room itself, it is a hotel room with a kitchenette and table for two. It has two very comfortable queen size beds, a glass table w/ 2 chairs and a small bathroom. We had four adults staying in the room and it was tight with luggage, snow boots and helmets. However, I am not complaining. I just want renters to be aware of the limited space. It is so worth it! We all slept well. There is a humidifier and large box fan in the room, so this helped with moisture issues and "white noise".
I totally recommend Lion Square #465. I have made the trip to the Colorado Mountains for the past three years and this is the BEST place so far. Book your trip today and enjoy!!

It is a dream location for a skier.
The outdoor pool and hot tubs , and indoor sauna help as well.
It would help if the room had minimum cutlery and plates.

Great access to Gondola and the Mexican restaurant at the Lodge is excellent!
However, our unit looked as if it had kitchen plates, bowls, utensils, etc. It did not. Needed to improvise alot.

Lionshead Ski-in Ski-out
This is a great spot to stay in Vail. Awesome location, property had great amenities, with friendly staff who was attentive to all questions or needs. The location is unbeatable and truly a ski- in ski-out location allowing for maximum time on the mountain!

Excellent Lionshead location in Vail. Property is ski in ski out, has excellent parking and the staff, I have to give an A to. Dillion, who is one of the Managers was always on point and had suggestions from dining to local bars and nightlife. Being a Vail local at an earlier time in my life we didn't need much, but he was always there to help. I would think his knowledge and service would be invaluable to the every day guest from outside CO or Vail. The access to the lifts is Steller and made the visit awesome to maximize our ski time!

Great spot, great stay
Wonderful place to stay. Great access to Eagle Bahn Gondola, steps from the door. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Small issue with bathroom sink leaking, but repairman was very punctual when notified of such. Ski/snowboard concierge available, but outdoor locker storage, susceptible to freezing temps and lock freezing up. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely stay again.

A perfect spot
The location was excellent; we could park our car and walk or use the bus our entire stay. A shuttle was available as well. The front desk personnel are welcoming and friendly and answer all questions, take care of requests. We enjoyed the pool temperature and the hot tubs, and the beds were comfortable and our rooms quiet.

Need flatware and a bowl please
Great location, comfortable bed, pool and hot tubs are nice. I picked this unit for the kitchenette , but the front desk said no flatware or bowls etc because of Covid.
Should have told me before arrival, so I could have brought some.
I borrowed from the restaurant- thanks!

This place is amazing!!
Sorry for the long review, but this is the type review I wished I saw before I chose this nice place - because I would've chose this place a lot sooner.
My family visited Vail, CO for about 4 nights and this place is located in Lions Head Village (at Lions Square Lodge) and it has it all - location, beautiful view, great customer service, and dare I say it again - Location, Location, Location!! Check-in was a breeze. The number of restaurants within the distance of this place is uncountable - our favs were The Little Diner, and Montauk (you'd be hard pressed to find anything in Vail to rival them). I also wanted to try the Chop House, but couldn't fit it in - and these just weren't "any" restuarants...these are 5 star resaturants, most likely the best we'd had even in our own local town. We loved getting ice cream from Haagen Dazs, coffee at Starbucks, and going to an amazing candy shop that has your favs while growing up. We also stopped at a souvenir shop to pick up some on our way out. For this reason, I car stayed parked the entire stay. The best is that...all of this is within 5-8 walk!!
The place is cozy, beautifully bedding was so comfy, the sink/cabinets/microwave were a plus. Oh...and the shower's water pressure was too awesome. Also, a little known fact, during the winter, the streets in Lions Head village are heated (look it up), the walkways are always clear, easy to walk through, and makes it even more beautiful.
If you ski, which we don't, this location is the best because it's literally right outside the hotel. If you're looking for things to do, my family of four did snowmobiling, and snowtubing - my kids are 11 and 13 and loved it!!
Good luck on your trip, we had a GRAND time for the reasons I mentioned above.
