Secluded and light-filled Pacific NW Waterfront home on the North end of San Juan Island with views of Speiden Island.

NEIL BAY WATERFRONT PROPERTY, PET FRIENDLY. Enjoy access to a private mooring buoy for your larger boat and a boat dock to tie your dinghy and kayaks. You have access to the vacation home by steep staircase.
The great room with floor to ceiling windows overlooks Spieden Channel with amazing views of wildlife abound. Across the Channel is Spieden Island, shrouded in strange and exotic tales of non-native wild animals and unconfirmed sightings of Sasquatch. Uninhabited, with around 550 acres, it is now home to Corsican big horn sheep and Fallow deer from Asia, amongst others. All living and peacefully grazing, safe in an environment freed from any hunting for at least 22 years.
Large deck with ample seating to enjoy all that nature has to offer. A large modern kitchen with bar seating and dining area open to the living room. Waffle machine, toaster and popcorn maker provided. Outdoor cooking on Proane BBQ and crab cooker. Cornhole game for yard play. Living room with comfortable seating, propane fireplace and smart TV.
You are welcome to plug into a 14-50 outlet for you to plug in your e-vehicle.using you own connector.

Upstairs loft master bedroom with King bed and an alcove room with twin for young child. Large master full bath. 2nd bedroom with Queen bed, 3rd Bedroom with 2 twin beds and 2nd Full Bathroom downstairs. Pack - N - Play provided.
Roche Harbor Resort, airport and Marina is walkable in about 25 minutes via wooded trails, or reachable by car within 5 minutes. Resort amenities include a full Spa, whale watch and kayak tours, (3) restaurants, marina, swimming pool and extensive sculpture park to tour.
Walkability to the Sculpture garden, Mausoleum, Roche, many trails. Close to Westcott Bay Oysters.

Absolutely beautiful home on bay. Incredible views and had a blast kayaking and crabbing from the dock. Home is open, spacious, airy, and most importantly felt like a home away from home! Will definitely return.

The place was clean and worked well for our family. The owner was very helpful with the reservations and making sure we made our ferry reservations on time. This was our first visit to Friday Harbor and we would stay at this place again.

What a place to call home for a week! We enjoyed every adventure and each quiet moment our family shared on San Juan Island. The home felt like a breath of fresh air the moment we walked in and never disappointed each time we sat out on the deck. We liked being away from the main harbor yet close enough to participate in every activity we desired. The San Juans are a special place and we feel lucky to have been able to enjoy our time on the islands. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to return again some day soon!

Enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful property. Beautiful views and waterfront access. Feels secluded, yet quick access to Roche Harbor and an easy drive to Friday Harbor. Well-appointed kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Communication with property manager/owner was great. Would definitely return!

We loved this house. We saw otter swimming one morning and it was so fun watching them. Plenty of towels and washcloths. Conveniently located. We ate at Roche harbor a lot and got some things from their store. We didn’t do a lot of cooking but there seemed to be enough to do the job. Communication was great.

Sheltered cove. Minutes from Roche Harbor and sculpture garden. The kids brought paddle boards and paddled in front of the house. Our 22 ft fishing boat, which we launched at Roche Harbor, fit at the dock so super convenient. We did have a few days with a very low tide (less than one ft of water at the dock) so kept the boat on the buoy and used our zodiac to ferry ourselves from the dock to the boat. We had a great trip.

We had a wonderful time at Karen's cabin! Everything was as described. Amazing location! Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Check in/out and communication was a breeze. Would highly recommend and not hesitate to stay here again!

Such a beautiful home and location. So nice to come “home” to a very comfortable and well thought out accommodations. The view is amazing and our grandson loved hanging out on the dock watching all the sea life. Thank you!

Had a nice stay overall. Property manager was responsive to emails. Nice to have a place we could bring our dogs along with! Very short drive to Roche Harbor but tucked away on a quiet cove. With binoculars, we witnessed Orcas, Eagles, Kingfishers, seals and perhaps the resident otter. Very unique spot on a beautiful island!

Spent the Thanksgiving week at this property as a family of 4 (+ our small dog) and had a wonderful stay. Communication was easy, property was well-kept, and most importantly the property was functional. The big living space/open kitchen made it the perfect family vacation space. 5 stars, hope to visit again!

We had a great time staying at this home. It was exactly as advertised, even better, honestly. Clean, quiet, with incredible water views and access, and an awesome deck to hang out on and relax. We liked that the location felt private and secluded but we could walk to Roche Harbor and the sculpture garden (well worth the visit!). Karen, the host, was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I highly recommend this home - it is the perfect set up for enjoying everything San Juan Island has to offer!

We so enjoyed the big windows looking out at the trees and water. There were 4 of us and we were very comfortable with the bedrooms and two bathrooms. Owner was on top of a slight plumbing issue. We would come again! Beautiful place!

We have stayed at this home twice. We like it for having a dock and for being dog friendly. Karin is a responsive host. Home is well equipt. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking over Neil Bay.

This was a great place to stay for our 20 year wedding anniversary. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Roche Harbor but close enough to enjoy the resort if we wanted. The home is very spacious and the views were amazing. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely home, with gorgeous views of the water. Our daughter had fun looking all the sea life down by the dock, and had a great time playing with all the toys and games in the house. It’s about a 20 minute drive from Friday Harbor, but felt pretty centrally located regardless—easy access to Roche Harbor, about 20 minutes from Lime Kiln State Park, etc. We loved our time here!

This is everything go be could ask for, for a quiet lodging with water views. From the house or dock we says otters and seals, many waterfowl and across the bay herds of fallow deer. San Juan is a wonderful island to explore and this was a nice place for home base.

This was a great place to stay with an outstanding view located in a great area. The neighbors houses are far enough away and hidden by vegetation that it felt like we had the area to ourselves. The house was really well stocked with supplies and considerate amenities and our host was very responsive throughout the initial booking and at check out. The house and the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed being able to get down to the water on the dock or to the beach at low tide. We enjoyed Roche Harbor, Friday Harbor and a bunch of other spots around the island. We went to Orcas Island for a day as well. The WA State Ferries are easy to use and extremely efficient. All in all a great vacation in a fabulous house in a beautiful setting. Thanks for your hospitality

We had a girls' getaway for a 4-day weekend at Karen's gorgeous home in Roche Harbor. The home was spotless, extremely well stocked with kitchen and other needs. Check in was very easy and there was even a personalized welcome sign on the door. The location can't be beat - it feels like being in the middle of a forest but right on the water. We didn't have a boat, but it would be amazing to motor up and dock there and walk up to the house. It was a perfect place for us, we couldn't have had a better time, I have already told my family we have to schedule our next gathering there.

We had an amazing time... the cabin fit all of our needs. It was well stocked and cleaned. We also brought our boat and was so great having a dock and mooring buoy in a quite bay. Look forward to returning!

This house is in a beautiful place in Roche Harbor. Close enough to the resort to enjoy, but far enough away to enjoy privacy. We were in Roche for a wedding at the resort. We had friends staying at the resort and they complained of the noises from early morning trucks, partiers, etc. We had none of that! The description / pictures of the house are very accurate. Communication with Karen was awesome. We would stay here again.
