We really enjoyed our stay there. The furniture was comfortable and the decor was well done! Kitchen was well appointed and the bathrooms were really nice. Our only minor complaint was that the downstairs had a bit of a musty smell. We used the outdoor spaces like fire pit area for happy hour (we didn’t use the fire pit or the hot tub) and spent time on the front porch often.

My siblings and I took our elderly parents on a four day trip to Blowing Rock. This house was perfect for our needs. It was updated and my mom kept mentioning how lovely the decor was. Having the parking a main floor all level was great for our dad’s mobility. We had a deer visit each day. This is about 3 minutes from The Blowing Rock” and also the town. Love the gorgeous landscaping all around town. Hope to go back.

This was a great place for our family! Close to everything and a nice quiet neighborhood. Has everything you need, clean, and nicely decorated. We would come back!

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very nice, clean, and comfortable. As others have mentioned, it is a short drive to the main shopping area in town and very close to Boone. Would definitely stay again.

Our family loved staying at this cottage in Blowing Rock. Clean, nicely decorated, with a great space to spread out or gather together. The hot tub was wonderful, clean and easy to use. Was a little too chilly and windy this time to use the fire pit area, so that just means we will need to go back soon!

Location is perfect if you’re looking for quick access to Tweetsie, App Ski Resort and dining/shopping. Easy to get in and out, clean property, cute little backyard for kids to play, hot tub was lovely, quiet street and great beds. We’ll be back!

We came for our daughter’s APP grad… total of 5 stayed with plenty of room for more. Great location, near all the best of blowing rock. The hot tub and deck were a nice bonus. Kitchen was missing a few minor things (measuring cup, cutting board, etc) but overall well stocked. Some bedroom doors did not close fully or lock. One major concern was the drop off at the top of the (steep downward) stairs. There is a space bw the banister and the top of the steps that could be dangerous. Otherwise it was great home!! Plenty of parking. Expertly decorated. Great value for price.

The property was clean and well maintained. BUT, it is NOT within walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock for older adults. We had to drive to Main Street downtown. None the less, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and check-in was easy! The house was very clean and well maintained. We loved the back decks! We hope to rent this property again!

Loved the decor , layout and amenities. Easy parking and road access. Close to town. Great yard with wonderful hot tub and fire pit!
Would recommend sink sprayer get fixed, vent at stove work better ( got Smokey each night cooking) lower the microwave a bit upstairs bed is a bit firm ( maybe a foam topper?) and tp/pt are pretty cheap quality.
Overall really spectacular and comfortable and upgraded so well!
Friends and I would very much enjoy coming back again.

This home is nestled up on a small ridge and is very tastefully decorated with modern accents and accessories. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood is older but very well maintained. Very quiet street out front. The hot tub was ready for us and the burn pit area was a lovely touch for more outdoor fun. My in laws and adult children will definitely be back again next year. This place was perfect, just needed more towels. They provide towels of very nice quality, but women tend to use two towels and one towel per person was not enough and I use a clean wash cloth every time I shower, so extra wash cloths would be better. I did have to wash towels every single day. If you are staying one night that’s plenty, but if you stay more than one night bring extra towels. Again, we will be back, the towels is small potatoes and didn’t affect our opinion of this lovely place or it’s courteous management.

We stayed in blowing rock, this cabin is a small home that was renovated, and they did a beautiful job. It was very cozy, very beautiful and comfortable. Super close to the town of blowing rock with all the restaurants and the local Food Lion. Only a 5 to 7 minute drive from Appalachian ski Mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the house. It was in a good location and nicely decorated. As
mentioned before, the stairs leading to the bottom floor inside the house were very steep. The shower in both bathrooms were very slow to drain and the dishwasher should probably be repaired.

Loved the time we spent in the mountains dining out, driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and seeing waterfalls.
The fall colors on the Parkway were excellent.

This beautifully updated cottage sits centrally in Blowing Rock in a quiet neighborhood extremely close to downtown. Well appointed with plenty of sleeping space and a great deck and hot tub! We enjoyed eating breakfast in the sunroom and watching storms roll through from the large windows.

The house is updated and very clean with the exception of the inside of some of the kitchen cabinets, and the carpet going downstairs could use replacing. Nice to have TV's in all the bedrooms. Location was convenient to town, but the street noise from the main thoroughfare is constant and that is also the view from the back deck. All in all, if you are planning to use the house as a hub to sleep and will be out during the day, staying here will suit your needs.

Beautiful House
My daughter and nieces enjoyed our weekend in Blowing Rock. The house was perfect for us -we especially enjoyed the hot tub and the dining porch. It was clean, decorated nicely and very clean.

Cottage Fever
The house itself is nicely decorated, was clean and close to town. The stairs in the middle of the living room are very steep and our kids had quite a few close calls. Someone had painted the ante room to the downstairs bedroom, right before we got there and the paint smell was quite strong. I’m asthmatic and could not sleep downstairs. My elderly parents could not go downstairs when they came to visit. We ended up leaving early due to my asthma.

Great experience
The house is very nice with beautiful views. It comfortably fit our family of 5 and had everything we could have wanted. Very clean, well-appointed, with great outside space and a hot tub. The property manager was great and helped us get in the house early on short notice. It’s a great location close to downtown Blowing Rock. We can’t wait for a return trip.

Nice cottage close to town
A nice very functional cottage with enough space to sleep 6-8 people. We only had four adults and the layout worked well for us.
The stairs are a bit steep but posed no problem for us.

Perfect size and location
I was looking for a home that was close to downtown Blowing Rock and easy to access. Front level parking was a great feature to make unloading/loading easier. Layout is group friendly as we were there for a (mature) girls weekend. The home was spotless and we found everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. Kudo's to Carolina Cabin Rentals.

Pleasant stay
Had a nice stay. Property is located a few mins from main st. It’s a little dated but I overall it’s nice. Liked the Big TV in the den. WiFi was excellent.

Beautiful home in a great location. Had a wonderful time in Blowing Rock
The property needs step to get into hot tub. The stairs going to the basement level are dangerous
Everything else was perfect
However, would not rent this property again because of the stairs

Lovely cottage
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage! The house was newly renovated with modern decor, very clean, and had easy access to the town without being right in the center of it. This was perfect for our needs/family with little kids. I look forward to staying there again.

This was a girls trip and one of the biggest problems we all had was there were no others mirrors in the house but in the bathroom for us to get ready.

Great family getaway
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Grandparents and grandkids all loved it. Clean and beautifully decorated, we loved the fire and the sun room off the kitchen. One quick note: we had everything we needed in the kitchen except silverware. There were only two forks and three spoons. Otherwise, highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

Perfect weekend getaway location!
Excellent property for a small girls’ weekend in Blowing Rock! The house had plenty of room for four adults, and the location is convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. The property was clean upon arrival, and when our wifi went out, the manager sent someone the same day to fix the issue. They were responsive before and during our stay. Would return!

Perfect Stay for Family
My family and I had a wonderful time here! The house is beautiful, easy to access, and spacious yet cozy. My husband and I loved sitting by the fireplace in the evenings. The whole family enjoyed the hot tub in the cool evenings. We cannot wait to visit again!

The house is a perfect location. It is very trendy decor. We did find that the cleaning crew could step up their game but it didn't deter us from having a great getaway.
