Great cabin! Clean and comfortable, pet friendly and close to West Yellowstone. Enjoyed private viewings of the neighboorhood moose!

We had a great time in the Mighty Moose. It was just as described. No issues at all. There were condiments and spices available. We loved having the foam cooler, cooler bag, and bear spray available. Plenty of dishes and silverware. We enjoyed a night sitting around the fire and used the grill often. The moose frequented the yard jf you were lucky to be around when they passed through. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed at this location while visiting Yellowstone. It was a lovely cabin with amenities as indicated. Some other homes fairly close by but with trees and grassland areas it feels secluded. Our group included older adults as well as younger children. Kids were excited by the selection of games and sharing the loft space together. Cabin had most everything you would want, except for your own food of course. There were trash bags, food storage bags, paper towels, variety of spices along with some staples,, condiments in the fridge and dishwasher and washer soap pods guests are welcome to use. A welcome gift bag provided a nice touch four our arrival. Also we had the delight of seeing 2 moose behind the cabin one evening. Kept watching for them to return but only saw them once. Close to HWY 20 so easy access to places in Island Park and about 20 minutes from West Yellowstone. We were able to enjoy Yellowstone and river rafting and kayaking through Mack's Inn. Also enjoyed local restaurants and found them to be family friendly. Great place for family vacation and enjoying nature!

The cabin was great. Close to Yellowstone Park.
Contact with the property owner was easy either by texy or phone. We had one minor issue. He was willing to call the handyman to come out rightaway that night, but since it was our last night and we were leaving early we decided to it should wait till the next day.

The Mighty Moose was good to us during our recent trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton! There are plenty of amenities to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook including a nice stash of basics including things like zip lock bags and spices. There were even a couple of coolers and a zippered cooler bag there.
My wife appreciated being able to pack her favorite K-cups and make coffee just like she does at home with the Keurig.
The living area is a comfortable place to wind down after a long day exploring the National parks. The option to use the Bear Spray is a big $ saver. Purchasing your own will cost $50-$60 depending on where you shop, but the owners provide a can that you buy only if you use. We appreciated that and carried it with us all week; thankfully we didn’t need it!
The beds were comfortable as well with a good selection of pillows and blankets. We appreciated finding small fans in the closets as it was HOT the week we were there!
Communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the fun welcome bag with some local sweet treats!
Alas, we did not see an actual moose in the yard on this trip but I suspect July is not the right time for that!
Overall, we had a great week at the Mighty Moose and if you are in the area I’d recommend this property!

Nice accommodations for a family of 6 spending a week in Yellowstone. Cabin was well stocked with plates, cups, etc. Nice to have laundry facilities and coolers for day tripping. Beds were comfortable and kids enjoyed the loft area.

This cabin was a fun place to stay with our 2 young grandsons! The photos don't do it justice. You can easily sleep 10 people, but it's ideal for 2 couples and up to six kids upstairs. Our grandsons loved staying at "the cabin", including the fire pit for s'mores, the playset, the "real wood" pillows, and the "little living room" upstairs.
We've stayed in lots of vrbos and appreciated the thoughtful details that have been put into this rental. Not only does it sleep 10 comfortably, there are places for 10 people to sit and eat, and plenty of plates, bowls, cups, utensils, and cooking supplies to feed up to 10, which is not always the case in rentals. There were luggage racks in each bedroom; plenty of things like sandwich bags, trash sacks, paper towels, laundry and dishwashing supplies, etc; and a fun gift bag upon arrival including unique candies we loved trying, a Christmas ornament keepsake, and a postcard for our grandsons to send to their parents. The beds were comfy and there were lots of pillows so everyone had one to suit their needs. The boys loved the books included upstairs, and we read stories both nights. There is not only a fire pit, but also firewood, an ax, and roasting sticks for use. Everything was very clean.
Check in was easy, we just had to type in the code provided. The location was good, too. Although there were nearby cabins, it felt private with all the surrounding trees. It's easy to get to and not a bad driving distance to Yellowstone Park

We all enjoyed the cabin. My grandkids(6,7, and 9 loved the play equipment; we did cook a fair amount and appreciated all the food left , like the salt and pepper shakers, some herbs, a cooking oil, we had brought a spray. The oven and refrig were well used.
We used the fire pit to do s’mores one day, and appreciated the wood and closeness of the water hose.
It got cold a few days and nights and I loved the instant heat and the ambiance of the fireplace.
We felt it was close to Yellowstone. We had a problem with a bathtub drain and the owners had someone there within an hour and he fixed the problem, and told us about the moose in the neighborhood. We did spot them the night before we left.
Very nice, well-equipped cabin. We all enjoyed our stay. We’d love to come back, but the drive from Indiana was abit long.
I celebrated my 80 th birthday there; we loved the big table, and the washer-dryer, and dishwasher.
It allows dogs, and my one son insisted he bring his 8month old 55 lb. Standard poodle, thank you for having a water bowl and boot mat for his food and drink. And my other son wanted hispeed internet, which some of us enjoyed.

This was a very comfortable place for our family to stay while we visited the Yellowstone and Grand Tetons Parks. The host has kept in the home all the extras that you would want while preparing meals or relaxing after a busy day of exploring. This is most definitely a place my family would enjoy coming back to. Thank you to Curtis for being a super host.

Property far exceeded expectations. Curtis is an amazing host. Excellent communication and very easy to work with. Weather issues impeded our intended arrival date and Curtis offered to let us arrive a day earlier due to cabin being vacant, incredible hospitality!!
Great location, easy to find, less than 20 min to West Yellowstone Gate, very pet friendly.
Highly recommend this property for your Yellowstone Adventures.

This is a great location for snowmobiling. The trails are close by and it is easy to get gas. It also has great parking at the cabin. If you need addition parking there is a lot close by for trailers. The cabin has everything you would need. It is so cozy and clean. The furnitur and beds are all comfortable. It also has a nice firepit and play area for childs. I will stay at this location again.

We had a pleasant stay at the Mighty Moose but we did not get to see any moose. 😢
The home was clean and showers were nice and hot for the 4 of us. Location was great to West Yellowstone Park Entrance. Only about a 20 min drive. We also went to Mesa Falls not a far drive from the house. Beautiful!

Very nice stay at Mighty Moose! Beautiful place, well stocked and very roomy. I gave 4 stars for location just because it is a 20 minute drive to West Yellowstone Park entrance, a very direct drive though. I definitely would stay here again and highly recommended this place.

3 friends of 30 years spent a week. Very comfortable- well stocked - my Florida friends loved the gas freestanding stove , it readily became their new “friend”. The grass was alittle wild but Curtis came and made it feel really homey and lived in. I would definitely stay there again. Good location to get into Yellowstone and grand Tetons.

Beautiful cabin. Probably the best equipped rental I’ve ever stayed in. Everything you could think of needing was there, including a tool kit that had small screwdrivers in it that my son used to repair his glasses.

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 dogs, we had plenty of room, and everything we needed. The setting was so beautiful and peaceful, I didn't want to leave. Would stay here again!

The house is definitely a log cabin! So it is dark due to the wood everywhere. The yard had not been weeded for months, so tall weeds all around most of property. And there was a bad odor inside which seemed like cigarette ( or cigar) smell mixed with something else.
The house was clean other than the smell, and roomy. Huge loft. The moose startled us when we arrived, mostly because we had 2 small dogs. But we didn’t see it after that day anymore.

This cabin is very comfy and super clean! It has everything you need to stay several days, pots / pans, washer and dryer. We give it 5/5 stars- the only inconvenience or not is that you have the highway right out the front yard- it is ok, we couldn’t hear any noise inside while sleeping and also you can just follow the road to Henry Lake and it was very close to Yellowstone National Park as well.

We loved mighty moose! Beautifully equipped and very responsive!

Amazing stay. Everything you could need for a trip is there. Bug spray sunscreen and bear spray all at the location ready ti go for your hikes if you fly straight in.

The Mighty Moose was a great choice for our month stay in Idaho and hosting family who were visiting Yellowstone. Property is within 30-minute drive of West Yellowstone, conveniently located just off HWY 20. The location was perfect for my husband and I as we fished most days on either lake or nearby stream options. The accommodations were comfortable for our group, were well thought out with huge loft area where we could put family groups. The kitchen was well equipped, and we did a lot of our own cooking and meals. The porch provided good place for happy hours in the afternoon along with grilling options. The kids loved the firepit for doing their Smores and even grilling hooks were provided. Although the property has no AC, that was not an issue as the property is shaded and ceiling fans and opening windows kept the temperatures in check even on 80-degree days. The owner was great to work with, responsive, and followed up with us during our visit. And the bonus was that we even got to see the resident moose, who we named Maggie, and her baby one evening. We definitely would stay here again.

This was a very nice cabin, it was clean and well stocked. The location is convenient for getting into the West Yellowstone entrance and there is a nice grocery store in Island Park. There were 7 of us in our group ranging in age from 16-73 and we were very comfortable. Whenever we had any questions or concerns the owners were very quick to respond, would definitely stay here again.

Excellent communication from owner before, during and after our stay. House was very comfortable with everything you could need and more. We really wanted to see a moose but missed it as we had already left for the day but Curtis sent us a ring video!! Would highly recommend staying at The Mighty Moose

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Mighty Moose! Cabin was just as described, very clean and very well stocked. Location was great. Owner provided great restaurant recommendations. Owner also sent us several videos of a moose in our yard, unfortunately we never saw that moose but we did see a mom and baby across the road from the cabin.

All went very well. The house was very comfortable and met my expectations. There are a couple of things to look into. The ice maker seems to have a problem and the coffee pot failed to work the last morning. I left money for a new coffee pot. Not sure if we had anything to do with the coffee pot failing, just felt the need to help purchase a new one. Would I return to this place. A definite Yes. Thank you so much for sharing your house.

This property is excellent and so clean. The hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay and are very easy to reach. Henry’s Lake is easily accessible. I would highly recommend this place. It is a little bit of a drive to Yellowstone, but the property is wonderful.
