About this farm stay rental
A place for you to get away with your family and friends to relax and unwind. Located half way between Omaha and Sioux City, Willow Valley Ranch is close to home but still a completely different world. Enjoy the amazing views, the quiet setting and the abundant wildlife that lives in the area. Relax by the fire on the patio, enjoy a soak in the hot tub or enjoy the view from the deck. Take a walk or bike ride on one of several trails on the property. On rainy days or after dark, enjoy playing in the new indoor game room.
The house is situated on over 7 acres of land and you get it all to yourself. There are trails for walking or biking, a large lawn area for outdoor games and activities. A large wildflower garden to walk through. A fish pond with a variety of fish to feed. The patio and fire pit area is a great place to gather in the evening to relax and enjoy looking up at the night sky. There are no street lamps or light pollution out here. When the sun goes down it gets really dark outside.
The house will sleep 8-10 people depending on how many children are in your group. It will comfortably sleep 7-8 adults. There are two bathrooms, both with tub and shower, three bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, living room and sun room.
We are dog friendly so we encourage you to bring your dog(s) along. The backyard is completely fenced and the deck also has gates that can be closed. Your dog(s) will have the time of their lives running around exploring the property. Its like a giant dog park only better.

Located minutes from Summit Lake State Rec Area. Summit Lake State Recreation Area is a 190-acre lake, surrounded by 345 acres of land. The area offers fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming and camping, among other activities. A park entry permit is required and may be purchased at the park or statewide Game and Parks offices and permit vendors or in advance of your arrival online.

We loved our family holiday weekend at Willow Valley Ranch! The house was clean and very nice. We really enjoyed the game room and closed each evening with the hot tub and fire pit. We also loved the quiet serene countryside! Tim, our host, was very quick to reply anytime I messaged him with a question. We definitely want a return visit to the ranch!

This was perfect for our daughters 14th birthday weekend! The property was AMAZING. The game room was fantastic. Ping pong, foosball, board games, archery, bocce set, game balls for every sport…the list goes on and on. We used the hot tub every night, and also used the fire pit to make s’mores. And I enjoyed my coffee in the sunroom each morning while watching the birds.
The house was very clean, and everything was provided that we could have possibly needed. (And more!)
The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which made the process very smooth.
We have rented VRBO’s for several years…for occasions like this, but this was one of our favorites. We would definitely recommend this property!

We had a great time at this cozy ranch. It has so much to do and we didn't want to leave. All the amenities such as the hot tub, outdoor games/activities, fireplace, and play areas were just perfect for our family. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Even though we had chilly weather, we were entertained and loved it. Looking forward to another stay in warmer weather so we can really take advantage of this great property.

Paradise in Tekamah
This property is amazing and so beautiful. It's a little piece of paradise in Tekamah. This was our 2nd stay and the 2nd of many we hope in the future. It has so many things and for kids so many things to do from riding bikes, playing in the games room or going on a scavenger hunt. Can't wait until we can return. Tim the host was wonderful and easy to contact.

Tim's place is the perfect way to unwind and get away from it all. The house is spacious, clean, and well decorated. The hot tub is relaxing, private, and offers a great view. The game room is well-stocked. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to slow down and have a relaxing weekend in!

This place is a perfect get away to connect with nature and family such a relaxed beautiful setting and very clean and updated. And wonderful place for dogs. Beautiful, comfortable, secluded, and FUN getaway
Willow Valley Ranch was the perfect spot for our Chicago and Denver families to meet up, relax, and spend time together! Our favorite features were the game room, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the sunroom. Cousins did a ton of playing in the game room, on the lawn, and around the property. Adults had plenty of space to sit and chat, read, and relax. We hope to return next year!

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway
Perfect place to getaway—little cell reception and no WiFi is a great way to unplug and relax. We enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit and in the hot tub in the evening. We are already planning our return trip.

Really Great
We needed to be close to Lyons Nebraska for my Dad's memorial service and were able to get back and forth easy had plenty of space (even was able to host some family at the house on Sunday with plenty of seating and room for all) everything was clean and loved the fact that they had so many things and amenities available for us to use! We will definitely be back.

This house and grounds were gorgeous. Had an excellent stay amd it was great to get out into such a beautiful setting. Everything we needed was there in the house. Hot tub was great....totally enjoyed meeting the frogs!

What an awesome place to get away with friends and family. There are so many activities we ran out of time to do them all. The owners have thought of everything! All you need is clothes and food! My golden doodle had as much fun as us girls did! We will definitely be back!

Weekend Getaway
A small group of friends got together for a relaxing, quiet, laid back weekend getaway and this house could not have been more perfect for that! It was so accommodating, and had everything we needed. The outside space was amazing! The new game room was a huge bonus and kept us entertained. We will definitely be back again this year!

Great Rural Property
It is a very quick and enjoyable drive up from Omaha (only 1 hour!). I would definitely recommend using the directions the owner gives you (and not google maps/GPS) especially if you are not super familiar traveling on gravel roads. We had no issues getting there or finding the location - even with some snow/wet roads - however we all had all wheel drive/ 4wheel drive vehicles.
The owners were very responsive to questions and concerns leading up to and even during the stay.
The indoor areas were very clean and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked and the owners include a lot of fun things you wouldn't expect such as a blue tooth stereo, games, telescopes, and a great selection of DVDs. (not to mention a garage full of fun outdoor activities!) Even without wifi - we were never bored. Cell service can be lacking in certain areas on the property - but overall, when we needed it we were able to use it.
As nice as the inside is - the outdoor portion of the property is where this place shines. (I'm guessing a majority of people book this place based on the patio pictures alone!) I would recommend doing the $25 wood through the owners - they include tons of wood and kindling in waterproof containers right by the fire pit and so enjoying the firepit was painless. The hot tub was great - it is a little hard to tell from the pictures the size - but we at the most only had 3 adults in it at a time - and that was a very comfortable fit. Also - if you're up for it I would highly recommend waking up a smidge early to watch the sunrise from the deck!

Great spot for a getaway
We loved the peace and quiet of the Nebraska countryside. The hot tub, fire pit, walking paths, tree fort, and outdoor activities at the property kept us outside most of the day. We enjoyed home cooked meals and watching dvds in the evenings - plenty of options for the kids and adults. This is a great spot to spend quality time with friends or family away from the distractions of every day life.

Peaceful getaway
The property is serene and the house is so cozy! We spent time hanging out with friends, enjoying the hot tub and fire in the backyard oasis, and cooking at home. The only ones that loved it more were our dogs! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A Safe Oasis in Nebraska
What a fun property complete with walking trails, country and pond views, water feature, fire pit, hot tub, patio area. We loved our five days - a safe way to take a break during these crazy times! So many nice touches in the kitchen and around the house and property from multiple coffee makers (with coffee!), ample cooking pots and pans, dvd collection (we didn't even have time for these), a trail in the woods with tree house, all in a super clean and well cared for environment. Absolutely Perfect
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every detail has been thought of and is provided. My kids (5&8) had a blast playing with all the outdoor toys and exploring the trail. The tree house was a great time and they were so excited to discover it. Our lab and mini aussie loved the property too. It’s very kid and dog friendly. Incredible clean and well taken care of. A great way to disconnect and relax in the country. Our kids are already asking when we get to go back.

Everything was described accurately. We enjoyed getting out into the country and relaxing on the property. Games and hammock were great. Telescope was nice bonus.
