This is the second time I booked in the hotel.
I love the hotel, for the location and the beautiful view and atmosphere!
It’s safe for a solo traveler ( women) .
I usually book with half board! The evening there are some entertainment ( Music)
It has many terraces ( beautiful)
The stuff are professional, either in the restaurant, reception or the bar.
The hotel receive groups, but it’s fine.
The groups or couples who booked through Jet2 Holidays, find a good deal ! As a solo traveler women, it was expensive for me during 3 days. I tried to negotiate the price a price, as I had done in November 2021, but it didn’t work.
So 3 days cost me ( alone) 479€!

Amazing hotel in the most perfect location.
The rooms are clean, well equipped with high quality bedding & linens.
The breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of quality foods and choice.

We loved the staff, especially the pool barman, Paco. He was so welcoming & approachable. The pool area was quiet (most days), without any problem getting a sun lounger. Breakfast was okay / good - best part was the fresh fruit & omelettes.
The roof top bar really is the major downfall of this hotel - we stayed on the 6th floor & had to use earplugs every night. When there was entertainment at the sky bar, we couldn't sleep until 2am or after. Also, the area is okay. A little run down. You will have to walk 20 minutes to the marina, which is a much nicer area. A final, small detail - the air conditioner vent is on the balcony, pointing at the chairs. Meaning, when you have ac on in your room, you cannot use the balcony, as it's blasting hot air on you.

Like many reading this review, we have stayed in many hotels. Hotel Las Arenas has to be the best for the following reasons. First of all, the staff are professional, helpful, hardworking and engaging. And, importantly they appear to enjoy their work at the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. Entertainment, varied and very good. The food is outstanding with a huge variety of choice. Sky Bar is lovely with panoramic views. When we return to Benalmadena, we will not be staying anywhere else but The Las Arenas. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so wonderful.
There was nothing that we didn't like.

Very helpful and friendly reception and restaurant staff. Buffet dinner and breakfast both very good - adults and children all happy. Room and bathroom were good although we all found the beds a little too firm (being v picky!). Excellent location across the road from the beach and hardly any noise from the road or restaurants was heard inside the room.
The pool area is nice and very clean, but small pool and sun beds very close together. It wasn’t that busy when we got there, but in high season it might be.
The restaurant was clean and roomy, but had no atmosphere - no music and very plain in design. We had eaten out at local restaurants most nights and this felt like it could have been anywhere as there was no character.

Location, food good, very clean
Need to replenish tea/coffee/milk every day, this was not done. Didn't matter as I bought my own tea bags and dried milk.

Friendly staff, good location, good food and variety. Bedroom clean and quiet. Evening entertainment every night was pretty good.
No WiFi in room which was a bit of a disappointment. Asked reception for 3 days from arrival but probably because of Friday afternoon and the weekend the company they contacted did not answer. Not hotels fault. Gave up after that and sat in public areas whenever we needed to use WiFi.

Very quick and competent check in, room had a great sea view. The bath towels were a fab size and the walk in shower was much appreciated. Bed very comfortable as were the two armchairs to sit and relax in. Breakfast offered a good quality selection with omelettes made to order. We also liked the happy hour cocktails.

everything except the food at breakfast
Breakfast although plentiful in choice, the quality of food was very average.
4.5
Breakfast was great with a good choice of food.
The staff were so efficient and friendly.
The food couldn’t be better. The staff were great but a bit too much banging on the trollies when collecting empty plates. A little quieter would be nice.

Food items on offer were of very good quality and there was plenty of selection. Service by dining room staff was cheerful and attentive.
Visiting the dining area is not a pleasant experience due to the numbers of people and the horrendous noise created by the crash of dishes and cups and the clatter of cuttlery. A queue forms at the entrance waiting for seating. For this reason we chose not to take dinner there.
We had an electrical problem in our room but it was resolved by several visits of the electrician.
The room refrigerator wobbles and needed wedging with cardboard.
