I loved the house and area only thing that I didn’t like was no AC I had added that to my filters on VBRO but some how this house came up I booked then realized no AC. Water pressure was great beds very comfortable I couldn’t get tv to play in master but no big deal didn’t need it probably my error

Property is in need of repair, i.e. hot water tank leaking, toilet leaking, dishwasher broken and full of water, no stopper for kitchen sink making it very difficult to wash dishes, toaster not working properly. There was also a very musty smell and could have benefitted with fulltime use of a dehumidifier.

Great property. Loved the creek/river in the backyard. It was actually very easy to fall asleep with that type of background. The house was fully furnished from utensils to towels which was very convenient. Loved having 3 rooms and 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. It was perfect for our family of 4. The flooring seemed to be slightly warped at the front door and master bedroom door. but not a big deal. I would stay there again

The place was clean and comfortable. Wish there was a booklet explaining how things worked and whether we should use, i.e. fireplace, tv, etc. Master bed was comfortable once we took off the foam pad.

We enjoyed our time. Some little hiccups in the check in that took a little time to sort out. The BBQ did not work. But a lovely place with cabin vibe. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely setting with a beautiful and functional deck. The house is comfortable for the number of bedrooms. Everyone in our party felt the beds were too soft for their liking. Were were a group of cooks and the kitchen is not well stocked or organized

The patio on the river is nice. A bit noisy next to the road sometimes - but great otherwise.

Nestled next to the babbling creek, it was a wonderful place for a family stay. Clean and very comfy beds with all the amenities you could need.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the deck and the scenery. The place is nicely decorated and is very cosy. The only issue we had was that the barbecue did not work. Hopefully this will be rectified for the next people staying at the property.

Dirty place with beds that fall apart
This place has a nice river outback but other than that it is dirty. We had to dust away cobwebs and the bed broke in the middle of night and we had to fix it the next day. We were promised a partial refund by the owner but never received anything at all. The dishes in the cupboard had food caked on them. Overall, it was a horrible place to stay.

Beautiful, Quiet Cabin
Where to start? I disagree with any negative comments recently posted. We felt wonderfully isolated despite being right beside the road. The house is charming and has everything you could want or need and more. We were surprised by how quiet it was inside and how spacious. The waterfront, the sounds and smells, wow. Just to sit outside and take it all in was rejuvenating. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely property. We hope to return.

What a beautiful place to stay! We stayed here for two nights at the end of April.
The deck is stunning and we made sure that we enjoyed it! The house is great for a small group! Well stocked and a great layout!
Close enough to shopping and food but nice to be out in nature! We didn’t find the noise to be too bad. The driveway is off of a roundabout and there is traffic, but we didn’t hear it.

Nice stay, needs a couple updates
Very cute place, but some of the furniture was in need of repair. Several of the dining room chairs were on the verge of breaking, one of the beds was in bad shape, etc. Would definitely stay again however.

When you are caught between a round about and the River
The location is a little odd with the street so near but the babbling River drowns out the traffic which is a plus. The space is nice with lots of light.
We had a few lovely fires and it warmed it right up. Great tech gadgets and the kitchen was well kitted out. I’d go back again for sure.

Our stay
We stayed for 5 days while we had some work done on our home and liked the location and cabin so much we are staying another 5 days next instead of staying somewhere else as there is some unexpected delays.

Great place to stay
We were only for 2 days in this house in Maple Ridge, but wished we could stay longer! It is a very nice house equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck in the morning listening to the quiet river next to us and being downtown Vancouver in about 45 minutes drive. Vancouver is a beautiful city to visit, this house in Maple Ridge is an excellent stay to enjoy the city as well to stay in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. The Maple Ridge Park is just next to the house with a great waterspray area. Nature trails start right from the park. We could have stayed for a week!

The Maple Ridge River Side Cabin provided a cozy and relaxing environment for our weekend getaway. We traveled from Seattle Washington and were able to explore the Golden Ears Provincial Park within minutes from the property. Unfortunately, the HomeAway app arrival time was not accurate and it changed our afternoon itinerary so we weren't able to go to the WildPlay Element Park as our initial afternoon plans. Once we arrived at the property on the accurate check-in time, we were not able to access the property due to property damage from the night before our stay. Once we were able to access our rental, the property was in an immaculate condition. The property's clean-up staff did an amazing job at making it a presentable space. The owner always responded in a promptly manner, he was very empathetic about our check-in situation and was able to provide a reasonable refund. We recommend this property for folks that are looking for a secluded and a quiet ambiance from our hectic life style. We hope to return in the near future.
