Superb

Beautifully renovated old house in centre of town. Very good self serve breakfast, can have any time which is great for walking the Via de la Plata, you can even make a take away lunch

Excellent place to break a long journey or spend two or three days.

It’s a really nicely done up old house in the centre of the village. The room we had is spacious and has a very nice little terrace. The breakfast was excellent. There isn’t much in the village but there are some nice walks and we had an excellent meal in Casa Sabas nearby. Good food at very economical prices.

it would have been nice to have a brighter bedside lamp to read at night.

A very enjoyable stay in a quiet room with a lovely view of the mountains!

Our host Sydney was very kind and accommodating. Our room had a lovely balcony from which we could look out to the mountains. Such a beautiful view. The room was quiet and we slept well there.

Top experience!

We simply loved it, and we regret that we were just passing by. Next time we should stay longer. We particularly enjoyed: * Authentic design, we felt like we live in a typical (and beautiful!) local flat * Delicious breakfast! With so many options! * The owner, who was super nice and caring

It was a pleasure to stay there.

A very comfortable, bright and spacious room with a touch of authenticity. And the room smells good!

In the daytime there is some noise from the main street, but the mountain view from the terrace makes up for it.

Good

Apart from some minor issues (see the "didn't-like" section) our stay was pleasant. The room is cosy and the beds are comfy, with all the basics you need for a short stay. The breakfast was diverse and abundant. I would recommend it.

When we arrived there was nobody to check us in. We contacted them and waited quite a bit before somebody from the staff came to let us in. Not a very good first impression. Also, you could hear the occupants (owner's family?) of the upper floor chat loud untill very late (or I should say very early in the morning).

Easy, convenient and friendly overnight stop on way to ferry at Santander

Excellent breakfast served an hour early at our request, very friendly welcome, easy to find, easy to park.

Wifi didn’t work in the bedroom, okay downstairs.

We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to go back.

The location is excellent, with a lot of interesting towns and places nearby. The host was very friendly, communicative and answered all the practical questions we had. The room was spacious, stylish and the building is very well renovated. The breakfast was complete and varied.
