Die Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich! Als ich der Dame erzählte, dass ich gerne Yoga mache, standen zwei Stunden später zwei Yogamatten vor der Türe. Die Thai Massage war die beste, die wir in Thailand erfahren durfte. Ansonsten war der Resort und das Zimmer sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Insgesamt sehr gut
Allerdings waren diverse Punkte, die uns sehr gestört haben, bzw. die wir uns so für einen entspannten Urlaub nicht vorgestellt haben:
- Wir hatten das Häuschen am Strand, direkt neben dem Restaurant/Küche. Sehr oft war ein ohrenbetäubender Lärm vom Luftabzug, zusammen mit einem intensiven Küchengeruch. So etwas ist OK in Bangkok, aber nicht an einem vermeintlich einsamen ruhigen Strand. Es war wirklich sehr störend und stressig.
- Leider war die ganze Nacht über brannten alle Lichter vor dem Häuschen, sie konnten nicht ausgeschalten werden. Wir dachten wir wären mitten in der Natur, aber es war heller als auf einem Fussballfeld
- Aufgrund der obigen zwei Punkte waren wir genötigt bei geschlossenen Fenster mit Air Condition zu schlafen, was ich sehr traurig finde, wenn man sich vorstellt dass man in einem Häuschen an einem Strand Ferien macht.

De rustige plek aan het strand met een kalme zee zodat je ook veilig kan zwemmen. De kamers zijn ook heel erg fijn, ruim en comfortabel.
Eigenlijk niks! Het enige dat ik als positieve feedback kan geven is dat het warme water en de waterdruk in de kamer die iets hoger gelegen is niet altijd optimaal is. Ook de wifi is niet even krachtig overal.

It is an excellent location away from the crowds, without the hordes and hordes of tourists. As the beachfront was private, there were at maximum, 6-8 perons using the deck chairs, beach beds when we were there. The views from the beach is A+++.
The rooms are comfortable and has probably most of what you need for the stay (at least for us), it is very family friendly (the bungalow we booked was the SEA VIEW Bungalows) and there were free kayaks and toys for kids/babies. They provide a lot of beach towels, and you can grab them from their front desk.
The staff there are very very helpful, especially Fon and Sunny. Everyone from the staff, the manager and even the owners (Huey Princess & Denis) are so so so friendly. They make it feel like a home away from home! Before you arrive to thailand or the resort, they will start communicating with you through whatsapp. That ensures a great check-in experience and minimizes any trouble or hassle. They helped me plan a wonderful 30th birthday for my fiancee.
Please order the takeout food from the menu they have there! Eating food while lounging on the deck chairs, or in front of the rooms besides the pool, is a wonderful wonderful experience! They've gotten the best restaurants from around their area, and the food usually takes 30mins to arrive.
If you do go out, the Panwa Cafe is a great choice, as they will pick you up and send you back from the cafe. Just let the front desk/reception know you wanna go there and they will ring up the Panwa Cafe for you. If you have the time to stroll and walk, Thai Sawasdee was another food place that we visited that was beside the sea. It was also great walking along the boardwalk with the sea-view after dinner.
Beware of swimming in the sea, especially at low-tide. There are rocks/corals in the sea floor, these areas are unmarked and not-visible through the water. My fiancee and I were cut and had abrasions on our legs from wondering into the wrong areas. Perhaps, that area should be marked with flags or something like that.
Maybe the reception should brief guests during check-in to avoid those areas. We did not know and it did spoil a bit of the holiday!

The Mooring Resort is a lovely place to relax and calm down. It‘s located at a nice and quiet beach which is enclosed on both sides, giving you a feeling of privacy.
Based on the reviews, we already knew that the cafe/restaurant next door offered breakfast, snacks and dinner, which we used every day. For a two-night stay this was perfectly adequate, but for a longer stay you would probably want to go somewhere else, which would require either a taxi or a car/scooter due to the remote location. Or you can use the delivery service offered by the hotel.
Our room was very nice and spacious, the pool and beach were clean and there are plenty of sunbeds.
All in all, a very nice place to unwind and relax.

Für manche Personen könnte es zu abgelegen sein, da nur ein Restaurant in der Nähe ist. Aber man kann von vielen Restaurants bestellen oder sich kostenlos hinfahren lassen.

Het is een super relaxt hotel met bungalows aan het strand en hoger gelegen waar je met een trap kunt komen. Het hotel ligt aan een kleine baai. Het is heel rustig. Er zijn veel ligstoelen op het strand. De kamers zijn ruim, modern en mooi ingericht. Hotel regelt gratis pick-ups naar restaurants in de omgeving. Personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Er is een klein zwembad. Al met al een heerlijk verblijf. Ik had er zo nog een week willen blijven. Het is echt voor rustzoekers. Mensen die veel vertier zoeken kunnen beter ergens anders heen.

Super Lage am Strand, unglaublich schönes Hotel mit wunderbaren Zimmern und ganz lieben Angestellten, die einem bei allem helfen und total freundlich sind.
Man hat absolut seine Ruhe und der Strand und Pool laden zum verweilen und entspannen auf den liegen ein. Zudem wird Wasser in Glasflaschen gereicht und man produziert nicht so viel Plastik.
Das hotel bietet kostenlose Taxi Fahrten zu einigen Restaurants an!
Klimaanlage über dem Bett ist etwas alt und immens laut.

Wunderbares, kleines Ressort an einem hübschen Strand. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Preis/Leistung stimmt absolut. Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Strandbar/Restaurant im Nebenhotel ist qualitativ sehr gut und wunderbar gelegen.
Wir haben auf die Frühstücksbestellung recht lange gewartet. Ansonsten alles top.

das angrenzende lokal the cove war nur teuer und hat mit thai flair nicht viel zu tun,
schade dass man am abend immer woanders hin musste..

Ce ne siamo andati dopo due giorni.
Eravamo in vacanza con un bambino di due anni, e questa struttura, oltre a non essere come quella che ci aspettavamo dalle immagini, è davvero scomoda.
Per fare qualsiasi cosa bisogna prendere un taxi, si è lontani letteralmente da tutto.
La colazione non è inclusa perché la strutta non dispone di una cucina, l’unico posto dove potete recarvi è un ristorante accanto, molto costoso.
La spiaggia è piena di sassi e coralli rotti, quando si abbassa la marea è impossibile fare in bagno.
Per raggiungere le altre spiagge belle di phuket sono almeno 40 min di taxi . Quindi da mettere in conto anche quello.
La nostra stanza era al terzo piano con delle scale esterne ripidissime.
La ragazza ha fatto di tutto per non farci andare via, era molto gentile e cordiale , però questo posto non faceva proprio per noi.
Mi spiace di aver buttato via tanti soldi del resto del soggiorno. Con la cifra che abbiamo pagato ci sono hotel con molti più servizi in Thailandia!

3) If you come here definitely worth paying a bit more for the beach front rooms in my opinion.

1) It's situated in lush landscape and so we had plenty of insects and such in and around the room, and tons of mosquitoes.
2) It's very far from everything (approx 40min) from any main attraction in Phuket which is a huge disadvantage, and taxi rides add up eventually.
3) In 1 of our rooms our shower water temperature went from freezing to burning hot and it was literally impossible to shower there (ended up showering every night in one of our other rooms) the staff checked it twice and said it was fine ....still we could not shower in the room which was a really big pain.
4) They don't service breakfast or food and there is a nice but expensive cafe and restaurant right next door.

Location of the property is in very quite, lovely place with, amazing views. We have been on Phuket on low season and it was the best beach and best ocean condition we manage to find on low season, and we had a car and travel a lot. If you going to rent a car and going on low season it's the place to go. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, spacious and light.

It was just as described, right on the beach front with sand up to our bungalow. The rooms were lovely and I’d the weather had been better it would have been an amazing stay.
It felt a little bit more isolated from restaurants than we had anticipated, but I think it was as described.

property a little isolated from the most crowded areas, hence restaurants, stores, 7eleven a bit far (away 20 min walk). Adjacent to the hotel there’s a restaurant but too pricey and we didn’t like the food. there’s bookable transfer to and from a couple of restaurants (ask in reception!)
shower pressure and issue with hot water (intermittently hot and cold) were the main bad things about the room.

The property is in a quiet area so it is perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday. Although we did not stay long and we were out quite a lot to do other activities, we loved coming back to our hotel knowing we will get a good rest.
If you want to be near the more happening parts of Phuket it is not a great location for that but for us this was not an issue at all.

The rooms are big and clean and have all you need. The beach front rooms are amazing, right on the beach. The beach is great with great facilities and shadow. Stuff was very helpful.
No breakfast (you can eat at the restaurant next door which is super close and good). The transitions between rooms and reception are on the sand - need to get used to that. But since the place is so amazing, it's worth it.
The sea view rooms needs some strais climbing in the sun..

We loved our room, it was huge and nicely decorated, and always cleaned properly. It was actually better than what we had imagined by looking at the pictures. The same goes for the rest of the property - it's so cozy and designed with good taste (swings, wooden furniture, colourful pillows). The area is not touristy, feels more like a place where locals go, so you can really relax at the pool or enjoy the beach. Quite a gem for an island like Phuket!
Finally, the receptionist Joy was super sweet and kind, spoke good English and helped us arrange things easily. We rented a motorbike from the hotel and drove to the Phuket town (around 15-20 minutes), which was very convenient and also fun.
We'd definitely recommend it to other travellers.
