FAQ
Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.
Q: PARKING?
A: The home is very easy to get to via public transit. If you decide to drive, we recommend apps like SpotAngel or SpotHero to find free or cheap parking ($10-20 / night).
Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! We provide all these things. We also provide you a starter pack of toilet papers.
Q: When can I check in or check out?
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check in, or late check out fee, if you request either.
Q: Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which thi isn't the case.
Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests?
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.
Q: What's my total booking price?
A: We honestly hve no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don't actually control this.
Q: Are the beds comfortable?
A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!

Easy access to the train, shopping and food.
Only struggle we had was only one person could open the door due to the lock/key phone app. We needed two keys. I tried to contact the owner several times but they claimed VRBO blocked our ability to share contact information. I would have thought they had my phone number. There should be a better plan for communication if using the app. My family was locked out of the house the entire day that I was in meetings.
I also found it strange that the owner knew we were not taking our shoes off upon entry. We had no problem complying with their request that came after we entered the home the second time. However, this made me feel like there were cameras inside.
I would also suggest changing the shower head. I normally don’t comment on things like this, but I had a hard time rinsing my hair due to low pressure.
Central air and individual room air conditioners kept us cool. Kitchen is very nice.

We went to Chicago for a long weekend and randomly chose this location. It was very centrally located for our needs and super close to a subway station. Very close to restaurants also (check out Sofi restaurant for great Italian food). The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. Great experience.

Everything was fine especially for the price. It is in a “vintage” building, like the description says but there were 6 of us and for the price, we could not have gotten a hotel room with as much space for the kids to be and as close to everything that we wanted to do while in Chicago. I was not familiar with the “LATCH” app so check-in was a little rocky but once we figured it out, we were fine. The apartment was clean and very spacious for the price and it was in a neighborhood where we walked to many good restaurants to eat and once we walked down and got pizza and brought back to the apartment. All in all, it was a good place to stay. Thank you Hosts!!!!

The location was good and the hosts seem like nice people. The building management is horrible!! We had planned a stay for my wife on her birthday where she could get together with her daughters, who are both in college, and her parents who were 3 hours away. When we walked into the apartment it was 83 degrees inside. We turned on the AC and found out it was not working. We contacted the host who put in an order for repair. On the second day I asked the building management an approximate time for repair. All they said is they are working on it. At the end of the second day nothing was done. Due to this we had to find another place for her parents to stay as they are elderly and could not handle the heat. The AC was never fixed or to my knowledge even looked at in the four days we were there. The few times I asked I was treated horribly by them. I believe most people would have made sure it was fixed on a 90 degree humid day. Worst of all there are no real windows that can be open at this location. so there was little relief. Finally the game room pictured is a disaster where nothing works. Not that is something that is hard to believe. The building owners should be ashamed of themselves

The apartment was exactly as advertised and very clean. The communication with the host was excellent and the location was perfect for a quick 3 night stay in Chicago.

Fantastic property that's close to everything
Our family of 6 really loved this spacious "penthouse" for our Chicago vacation. The neighborhood felt clean and safe and we could walk to most of the places we wanted to see while in town. The property owners were extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. We highly recommend this property

Loved this Location
We had a comfortable stay and found the location to be perfect for all of the actives we had planned. We had easy access to the L and could even walk to several of our destinations. The hosts were very accesible and always responded quickly. This was an all around great spot for a fun weekend getaway with friends!

Trade Show Stay
3 of us needed a clean, convenient place to stay near the McCormack Center and this property fit the bill perfectly. Large open floor plan, 3 bedrooms and all the required kitchen appliances (coffee maker!)

Great Location! Easy walk to so many great restaurants, cafes and parks in South Loop
Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay in Chicago. Printers row neighborhood has a lot to offer within walking distance of 3-4 blocks. Harrison train station exits just around the corner from the property. Always felt safe and the secure entrance was a definite positive! The penthouse was very spacious. Tons of windows to brighten up the apartment with natural light. Plenty of beds, clean towels, dishware, ice maker in fridge. Used the kitchen and patio sparingly, but it was nice to have a place to reheat and eat the leftover deep dish pizza from Lou Malnati's! Great communication with the property manager; it is clear that they aim to please! Would definitely book again. Can't wait to come back!
