Resting on 100 feet of private coastline, every residence features lanais and balconies overlooking historic Sunset Beach. The property comprises the historic main house, three beach bungalows, and 10,000 square feet of a white, sand backyard. The house is available as a 3 bedroom home that can sleep 12 people, and can also be split into two residences for smaller groups. While the interiors include modern conveniences like complimentary wi-fi and state of the art televisions and appliances, the grounds promote the peaceful enjoyment of your private retreat. In addition to the freshly laid sand and landscaping, you will find plenty of lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining spaces, and a beach front deck designed to watch the perfect sunsets Sunset Beach is famous for. The yard has plenty of light and shade, and offers both a private beach experience as well as a nestled reprieve from the sun. Enjoy your morning coffee, or rest under the palms and pine trees.

The location of this property was outstanding! We loved the backyard and have the beach just steps from the doorway!
Management was responsive to questions and one maintenance request.
The design of the unit is a bit quirky, but the sleeping arrangements worked for our group.

Good for Ocean Front
I would only choose this rental if you are specifically looking for an ocean front property that is reasonable and can fit a larger amount of people. As other reviews state, 12 people in this house does not work unless your guests truly do not care about where they sleep. Most of the issues are centered around the beds, bedrooms, etc.
First, the pictures are a bit misleading as the upper "bedrooms" are barely rooms. One of the beds in the picture is actually a sleeper sofa and for some reason the room has a counter and sink in it. It also does not have a door. The bunk bed room is fine except for the fact that you have to walk through it directly to get to the top bedroom and bathroom, so no privacy.
The lower bedroom is also fine except that the king bed sinks in the middle. Saw this also in another review and was obviously not addressed. When we looked, the middle legs of the frame were broken (also food down there from previous guests).
There were other issues but general things you would expect in an older house.
Outdoor space is lovely and you truly are ocean front. It should be stated however that the sand comes all the way up to the house so it is impossible to keep it completely clean- they provide brooms but some sort of vacuum would be better to keep the sand at bay.
In summary, if you are not concerned about privacy, sand, or stairs the place will be great for you. We had the full 12 people (2 small kids) trying to fit and it was a major stretch.

Perfect Location
With just a few steps to the beach, this house is in the perfect location. There was plenty of space for our large group and we loved how we had our own oasis away from the crowded beaches of Saint Pete and Clearwater. We also enjoyed how unique the house set up was and the balconies overlooking the ocean.

Girls' Getaway
Four news executives in need of a serious getaway and unplug and this was the spot. The sunsets were amazing, the set up of the house worked perfectly! Everything was great... the BBQ didn't work (propane wasn't talking to the igniter) --but beyond that, everything was amazing!

House was comfortable for 2 couples, but not quite what we expected. It is set on top of a small hotel with 3 rooms that all share the sandy yard on the beach. If you have trouble climbing stairs this house is not for you.

Pros: Location (great),clean house and cottages, newer appliances, management quickly responded to air conditioning issue. We had 7 adults and 4 teenagers. The house was barely suitable for 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Two adults stayed in cottage #3 and one adult in cottage #2. Problems with the house include: King size bed on second floor did not have a secure middle bar, so two people rolled toward middle. We had to prop it up with a step stool. Room with sleeper couch on second floor had no door, so we had to tie up a sheet for any privacy. On third floor, top bunk totally unusable and two teenage girls had to share bottom bunk. Nespresso machine did not work nor did the two outside grills. Living room was terribly uncomfortable. No decent chairs, trundle bed not good for sitting or sleeping because of lack of privacy. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped, but I brought good knife and large frying pan. Beach Hugger 3, bedroom tiny with double bed so spouse had to sleep on sleeper sofa. Luckily, I brought extra sheets because there weren’t any for the sofa. Cockroaches were present, but I had brought something to get rid of them while we were there. On the first night the air conditioning ran all night with a terrible noise and we weren’t able to turn it off so no sleep. Management responded promptly the next day and followed up.Beach Hugger 2 , the hot and cold water are switched in the shower. With both cottages the bathroom sink is in the shower space...extremely tiny space. I don’t recommend this place unless you come prepared. Three flights of stairs in house are very steep, would be difficult for small children or the elderly. Both house and cottages need more pegs/places for hanging towels. Dishwasher pods, garbage bags supplied, but not enough. No laundry detergent supplied. Everyone loved the beach and we brought volleyball equipment so teenagers had a great time.

Sunset Beach Stay
We decided last minute to visit family in St. Pete Beach and wanted to stay directly on the beach. The house is on the ocean and watching the sunsets from the deck was great. We listened to the surf all night. Also the house is just a few houses down from a great beach front restaurant, Caddy’s. Thank you.

We stayed at the house for a bachelorette party. There were 12 guests so we were excited to find a place that would sleep us all. The house was clean and easy to access. The outdoor space was beautiful and the beach access was just perfect. The inside of the house was smaller than we had imagined and the bed situation definitely felt stretched. The beds were uncomfortable and we had many people on sleeper sofas and a trundle bed. The top bunk is also not a space someone should be sleeping in. Other than that, the house was good for us. Be aware of A LOT of stairs!

Perfect location for a large group hoping to stay on the beach. Large, shaded backyard that provided refuge from the sun. Enjoyed grilling out and spending time in the Adirondack chairs in the backyard. Just a few steps from the beach. Would suggest restocking kitchen utensils, especially the knives. Otherwise, everything else was perfectly comfortable for a short stay at the beach.

Amazing location
We had a fabulous time at the beach house! The location could not have been more perfect! The only reason I gave 4/5 stars overall were for a few minor things. The property does not provide beach towels, and we were not told that in the the listing description, minor inconvenience, however a $125 set back for our family. Also there were no paper towels or dish soap in the kitchen at all, so we had to make another run to the store to get those starter items. There are no dressers whatsoever so you have to live out of your suitcase, fine for a night or two, but we were there for 5. Lastly the thermostat has a setting "lock" on it that kept reverting back to 78 degrees, making the upstairs extremely uncomfortable until we over rode the lock each night. Like I said, in the grand scheme of issues, these are all very minor, however I prefer to know everything about a listing before I book. We did call the management company about a need, and they were very kind and quick to help us.

This beach house is wonderful! It's great listening to the ocean all day and night. The beach is literally in the backyard, and it's a short walk to the water. (one night we saw lots of dolphins.) Shopping and restaurants in walking distance. We rented electric bikes and explored St. Pete's, which was a very cool experience. Some of the beds in the house are extra firm, but there were nice pull-out couches to make up for the beds we didn't use. The neighbors in the cottages were nice and we had no problem sharing the yard with them.

Beautiful View - Great Location - Misrepresented Property
We booked this property after reading that it had been completely renovated in October of 2020. Once arriving, we discovered that this was not the case, and were told that the owner is slowly working on making improvements over time. The day we arrived, a fence was in the process of being constructed - while it was completed later that afternoon, it wasn't until hours after our check-in time that we could even get into our driveway. We had several overnight storms during our stay, and a picture window near the front door severely leaked (I have a video of water streaming down the interior wall, after maintenance had already been sent out and supposedly fixed the issue) - the first night it happened, we woke up to soaked shoes and towels/beach sheet the next morning. All windows are in need of replacing - one was nearly impossible to close during a storm, and while struggling to close it, the blind fell off the wall and struck our daughter. In two bedrooms, new looking TV's were mounted to the walls - but there was no cable service, so they were completely unusable. The air conditioning unit in the upper bedroom was spraying out lint or some other kind of debris on the floor underneath it. Bed linens were lacking for pull-out sofas. The toilet paper holder fell off of the wall in one bathroom, and another bathroom didn't have one mounted at all; one bathroom's shower faucet would not turn hot/cold, it just spun in circles and water wouldn't warm up; two blenders in kitchen were both broken; no vacuum was provided for a beach house with sand tracked in. No one bothered to blow off the deck areas before our arrival, and there were tree droppings everywhere. The front door is in serious need of a fresh coat of paint. Overall, attention to detail was lacking. For nearly $600/night and an advertisement of a completely remodeled property, we were expecting more. I called the resort management company and was told that the owner wouldn't be willing to do anything for us, so I want to provide an honest review so you know what to expect if you consider booking this property. The view is spectacular, the area is wonderful, and the property is unique. Once renovations are actually completed and the property is as described, it will be worth the rental cost... but not until then.
