A wonderful stay in an upmarket and charming cottage

Cottage had an upmarket feel, very nicely furnished with high end appliances in the Kitchen. Very comfortable bed and pillows, bed linen and towels were of a high quality. Bathroom was modern and very functional, shower was huge with 2 shower heads. Nespresso coffee machine & milk frother was very much appreciated as was being supplied enough Coffee pods for the duration of our stay. Everything worked perfectly and cottage was spotlessly clean. Grounds are extensive and attractive with mature trees and nice paving. We arrived during a day of extremely high winds and had to clear a lot of branches off the driveway/pathways on arrival, also decided it wasn’t a great idea to park our car outside the cottage under the trees but there are many other places to park so it wasn’t an issue. We would love to return again so that is our highest recommendation I can give!

Fabulous

Everything was perfect. Cottage was well equipped with the finest appliances. Bed was extremely comfy. Washer and dryer was very handy over our stay. An absolutely beautiful garden. Will definitely stay again.

Exceeded our expectations!

Very well-appointed cottage. It was private, quiet, and had everything we needed to cook our own meals with great appliances and kitchenware (the knives were nice and sharp!). The bed was super comfy. We really appreciated the breakfast supplies and yummy biscuits our hosts left. My partner and I had a great break away and will be back.

Better than the pictures. Safe and secure. Had a lot of expensive gear with me after a work trip overseas.

Everything. Stunning. Beautiful location. Close to Tauranga and the Mount so I could visit my friends and family between meetings. Nice and Quiet. Private. Could just unwind, sleep, relax do some laundry and chill. Regroup before getting on the road again.

Awesome!

The cottage is spacious and beautifully decorated. We felt pampered with the excellent qaulity and abundance of everything.The place felt home. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy. There are shared showers and branded best toiletries. The park outside is beautiful. The owners were really helpful when i could not find the keys. They were kind to place some bread butter and milk in the refrigerator for us. The entire stay was beyond expectation and an experience in itself. Also the proximity to main sight seeing places is good. Highly recommended!

Transport yourself to a cottage in France!

All the amenities we required. Beautifully clean, relaxing ambience. Host had really gone the extra mile. Comfortable bed. Lovely and warm. A total pleasure to stay. Great stay for a couple who enjoy "just relaxing".

There is nothing to complain about if you're away seeking quiet time and chilling in a well serviced relaxing ambience.

Exceptional

This is an extrememly well-appointed and comfortable cottage with everything you need. It is very quiet with a lovely garden. Our host kindly left us bread and spreads, muesli, juice, milk and a chocolate treat in addition to coffee and tea.

There was nothing that we could fault.

A beautiful cottage with everything on hand. One of the best. The gardens too were beautifully kept.

Milk, bread, cereal, butter, jams we're left for us which was a lovely touch.

The cottage was superb in every way. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We loved every minute of our stay and willl certainly return.

A charming beautifully presented cottage. We had 2 nights and would DEFINITELY book again if in Tauranga. The cottage had everything u need for a stay of few days and very quiet and handy location.

Fantastic, couldn't ask for better.

We had an amazing stay, such a beautiful property both day and night. Villa has everything we needed, such comfy beds and amazing shower. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding.

Beautiful quiet peaceful place to be; liked the attention to detail; quality 5 Star furnishings, linen, bed.

Nothing I didn't like. Couple of minor things, the clock didn't work and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the light above the dining table

Very enjoyable

The property was lovely and very quiet. The setting was beautiful.

We only have one complaint and it’s that we couldn’t figure out how to get the plug in the bathroom to work.

The cottage is lovely and in a quiet location. It has all the comforts of home with everything you need in the kitchen and laundry and the toiletries were good quality. There were breakfast items provided which was a nice touch and it has a Nespresso machine with lots of coffee choices, I now know the tastes of the full Starbucks range! Everything was top quality and well presented. It was warm on a cold day and has great wifi.

This is such a great place to stay - very serene and relaxing, and with beautiful thoughtful touches such as fresh milk, high end toiletries and furnished so beautifully. Will stay here again!

Best place we have staying at for a while. Love, love, loved it!!

Cannot rave on enough about Sunny Brae Cottages - we stayed two nights in the smaller Cottage at the front of the property and LOVED IT! The cottage is beautifully decorated, includes everything you would need and is warm and super cosy. The location is fabulous, off the main road, nice & quite and the gardens are stunning. Especially loved the garden lit up at night. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, lovely bedding. In the bathroom the shower had two shower heads as well as two basins and included the most gorgeous toiletries. There is a TV and a heater in the bedroom as well as the main living area. Nespresso Coffee maker and cooking facilities if you really need to cook. Also includes a Washing Machine & Dryer plus a drying rack and an outdoor area with table and chairs. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely come back and stay here again.
