Koko’s Cabana is a cozy newly renovated 3 bedroom designer Cottage Oceanside in popular Kill Devil Hills and is only about 350 steps to the 1st Street beach access. 1 and 1/2 bath indoors and an outdoor shower and toilet. Wonderful screened in back deck is perfect for hanging out, listening to the waves and has become a guest favorite. Dog Friendly! Features a large fenced-in lighted backyard with fire pit, Beach Cart, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, beach toys all included. All you need is your swimsuit and flip flops.

Clean & comfortable space. Loved the screened-in porch and variety of seating options. Bed in primary bedroom was very comfortable (not our typical experience in rentals) and our kiddo loved the bunk beds. House was the perfect size for our family of 3 (plus dog). Great to have a fenced in yard for the pup! We also loved the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Clint was quick to respond to our questions. Overall, a great experience.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Property manager was super responsive and gave us great restaurant recommendations! House was super clean and the beds were real comfy. The screened in back porch was a great place for family dinners and afternoon naps. We would totally stay at this property again!

Perfect location in Kill Devil Hills and a great rental for my husband & me plus two "kids" in their low 20s. Also, it was very accommodating for our dog - nice neighborhood to walk in, a great fenced backyard, and a short drive to Nags Head Woods Preserve which has terrific wooded trails! Honestly, we had ZERO complaints about the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Koko Cabana!! The house is beautiful and exactly as described. It’s in a perfect spot for getting to the beach and has several dining spots in walking distance, with an endless number of nearby choices within a 5-10 min drive! The house was also perfect for our fur baby! She loved the fenced in yard, dog friendly beaches, and blocks to walk around the neighborhood. Great stay and Clint responded immediately to any questions. Highly recommend!

This property was a great place for us to get away for a week. It was close to everything that we wanted to do and the house was a perfect size for my family. Also the property manager was great and very communicative.

This house is SOOO clean!! The decor is cozy and modern. We spent Thanksgiving weekend here and absolutely LOVED it. The king bed was super comfy. The big fenced in yard was perfect for our lab mix to run around in. A short walk to the ocean in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I had a question about a TV app and owner responded to me within 5 minutes. They have thought of so many necessities. You don't need to bring much. We will most definitely be staying here again!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic VRBO vacation rental, and our experience was absolutely delightful. The location was a true gem - nestled just a stone's throw away from the beach and conveniently close to stores and restaurants. This made our vacation not only relaxing but also incredibly convenient. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful provision of beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon to transport all our beach essentials. This thoughtful touch made our beach outings so much more enjoyable and hassle-free. It's evident that the hosts have put in a lot of effort to ensure their guests have everything they need for a memorable vacation. The well-equipped kitchen was another standout feature. Having a fully equipped kitchen with the basics allowed us to prepare our own meals whenever we felt like it. This convenience added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. It's clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for their guests. Additionally, the communication with the host was seamless and responsive, making the entire booking process and our stay stress-free. All in all, our time at this VRBO rental was a fantastic experience. The proximity to the beach, the thoughtful amenities, and the well-equipped kitchen all contributed to a wonderful vacation. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable getaway.

This cottage was cute, clean and had all of the necessities to make our week stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was great with Publix right across the street and the beach just a 2 block walk the other direction. With the gas grill we were able to eat in several of our dinners. It was so nice to not have to worry about packing beach chairs and the beach wagon was fantastic, we want to buy one for our house!

Super clean (an ABSOLUTE MUST for us) had everything we needed for a family vacation at the beach - beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, even a wagon to tote items to the beach)! Beds were comfortable, back porch was relaxing, kitchen equipped with all we needed to cook meals. Proximity to beach and also a really good raw bar (and target with a Starbucks a short walk away). Mini golf a block away. This place has it all!!! Highly recommend!!!

Clint was super helpful, and everything was very clean. We had a wonderful time. It was close enough to walk to the ocean and other attractions. So many options nearby, we couldn't see them all. We did drive up to Corolla and over to Hatteras and Manteo. We went to the OBXH2O park - hint Sunday was the perfect day, I'm not sure if it was because of check in/check out or Father's Day but no waiting for any of the slides. We'll definitely use KoKo's Cabana again!

Should not be rated at a 5 it was 10 Absolutely beautiful!! Everything was in walking distance, My dog absolutely love this. The yard was perfect, I slept better down there than I did at home. Everything is efficient…. There’s everything you want down there you don’t have to worry about anything boogie boards, lounge chairs, umbrellas They have a fridge raider upstairs and downstairs Absolutely!! I will rent this place again. Clint is very very nice. He made sure everything was perfect. Bed linens, towels. Perfect!! Thank you so much for letting me rent this place hopefully I can do it next year. Also the neighbors very very sweet!! again I get this attend 10!!

Great time!

My family and I stayed at Koko’s Cabana for 5 nights, and had a great experience! Would definitely come back and visit again! The property was a short 5-6 min walk to the public beach access, and came with all the kid-friendly and beach-appropriate toys including bikes, chairs, umbrellas, and a beach buggy that was a monster in the sand. Clint was great to deal with when we had questions, punctual in communicating, and came with great local recommendations. The outdoor shower and bathroom was amazing. We recommend the Koko Cabana!

My husband, our 2 dogs, and I stayed 7 nights. It was a quick walk to the beach and had everything we could have needed. While we were there, it wasn't crowded, and that was great for us. We loved the screened in porch and spent as much time there as we could. Would definitely recommend!

Nice place conveniently located. Close to beach, bars, restaurants, shopping, and fishing. We had a great time with two issues. 1.) We booked a 6 night stay and only had 2 bath towels. Also short on kitchen towels 2.) We had our dog join us on this trip. The back yard has sand brrrs. Had to did them out of his paws every time we let him out. All in all great time nice place and will return

We had a wonderful visit! The location was perfect. The beach (and the Publix) was less than a five-minute walk away. The seashore decor in the cottage was inviting. The screened in porch allowed you to feel the sea air and faintly hear the waves at night. There were plenty of bikes, boogie boards and beach toys on hand. My kids especially loved the bean bag game when it was raining. They have been asking if we will be able to go back to this house in the future. Outer Banks is a must do!!!

We had good communication with the owner prior to and during our stay. The house was cozy and we felt as if we were at a friends house. They had everything we needed: bikes, corn hole boards, chairs and a nice wagon to pack beach goodies in. The walk to the beach was nice and not too far. The outdoor shower was marvelous, 3 of us didn’t even use the indoor shower. We loved it and appreciated that the owners thought of so many things!! We will stay again, Koko’s Cabana is a “keeper”!!

The owners thought of everything! Drawers in bathroom, beach toys, chairs and umbrellas to use, bikes. The place was cute, comfortable and clean. Plenty if space for our two families and we are picky but on a budget. The cabana was close to the lifeguarded beach, just a few easy blocks away. An easy walk for the whole family with the provided beach wagon for all the beach accessories. Grocery store was a block away and the location in Kill Devils Hill provided easy access to the area attractions. We would definately stay here again. Be sure to check out Jockey Ridge state park an unexpected find for us.

We stayed at this property for a second time in April 2021, after also doing so in September 2020. We returned because we loved our first stay. This is an especially dog-friendly property, with a fully enclosed back yard and gated front deck.

We enjoyed our stay at Clint's cabana very much. This was centrally located in the Outer Banks on a residential quiet street and a short walk to the beach access. Check-in and checkout were easy and the place was clean and equipped with everything we needed and just as described. We really enjoyed the fenced and lighted back yard for our dogs and the fire pit, as well as having a full kitchen to do some cooking as well. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend this location for sure!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. This was a much-needed break from the city and Koko's Cabana provided exactly what we needed. This is an awesome little piece of beach Heaven! Owners have thought of everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Decor is just adorable. I have to say the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in at a rental. Great location, can walk to many things. Owner very quick with communication. We will be coming back here again and again. We enjoyed this place so very much!!!!

Nice, clean beach house

This house has been recently remodeled and is bright, clean and welcoming. The owner reached out after we checked on to see if we needed anything. It's about two blocks from the ocean on a quiet side street, near the highway and close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial and a couple of great family-run restaurants. Recommend!
