The home and property were stunning, spacious and veery well appointed!

Absolutely beautiful home! Immaculately clean. Great outdoor space. Plenty of kayaks and ores. This house had everything we needed (towels, kitchen utensils, outdoor supplies, shampoo, conditioners). Every boat and person that cruised by looked and looked at the house. We had so many compliments from boaters on what a beautiful house it was. We had a wonderful time.

The Weeki Watchee river never disappoints and this house was an amazing bonus that made the experience even better! The house is luxurious but what made our trip memorable was the downstairs area on the water! We had everything needed down there and the full bath was a great bonus!!

The house was comfortable and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed was there, and our family so enjoyed the week we spent there. Grandkids loved using the kayaks and watching the manatees. Owner was very kind and responsive.

Great place

We stayed we with friends. Plenty of room for everyone. Good location on the river, we were able to kayak to all the poplilar spots to see the manatees. Boys enjoyed fishing and the girls enjoyed sunbathing all from the dock.

Great location nice home

The property was great layout for big family or two and situated right on the water. The easy access to water and enough kayaks to accommodate a crowd at this home increased the appeal.i the house is an ideal location to spend time with the manatees or longer paddle out to the gulf. The home was clean and comfortable. Definitely coming back to this jewell!

This house was a perfect selection for our annual Thanksgiving getaway. This house is home away from home, was stocked with about everything you would need. Having access to kayaks was an added benefit being right on the water. The owners were helpful and responsive when I had questions. Don’t hesitate book this house it’s the perfect spot.

The home is very well maintained and thoughtfully appointed. it hade everything that we needed. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and the views of the river from the living room. Sitting outside on the deck, we saw abundant wildlife including hawks, fish, and manatees. We used the provided kayaks to explore the beautiful Weeki Wachee. We had a wonderful stay.

After 20 years, we reunited with our cousins from New York for an amazing long weekend at this beautiful property. It was wonderful to have the spacious room for everyone to have their time to themselves as well as be able to have catch-up conversations and small groups while others enjoyed other parts of the property we enjoyed swimming, kayaking and watching boats go by as we enjoyed meals on the gorgeous patio and dock! Highly recommend this property for your getaways!

We schedule this trip every year for Labor Day with friends and family. The location is perfect and is great to grab the kayaks and put in right from the back porch.

Our stay was from August 25th to August 30th. The host was very good on letting us in 4 hours early on Saturday the 25th. However, there was Hurricane Idalia that came in and our host notified us the day before. With that being said a Sheriff was going from door to door and told my father it was advisable to evacuate the premises. On Tuesday the 29th we left before noon. Don't think that we should of been charged for the night that we never used. I had no choice only to leave town and cancel the rest of my vacation because of this act of God. It is what it is. Definitely an impressive house to rent for your family..

Very clean and comfortable home. There are lots of stairs which can be hard on older legs! This home is in a great location with plenty of boats, kayaks, jet skis, manatees and dolphin passing right in front of the dock - which makes for great entertainment! A 15 minute "no wake" ride to open water for scalloping / fishing. The group we were with had a great stay - thanks for sharing your home with us.

Exactly as listed, hosts were great, we had a few questions when we first got there and Darryl always responded very quickly. Plenty of room and kayaks for all 10 of us. Just wish the icemaker downstairs worked, but other than that it was perfect!
4.9
Great communication from host. We loved the use of the kayaks! So close to local restaurants and grocery not too far either. Rented a pontoon to traverse the river which was very helpful and enjoyable! Great host!

Loved the square footage of home. We were able to spend time together as a family and go to our separate corners when desired.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We had an unforgettable time.

Beautiful home with lots of room. Has everything you need just bring clothes and food. Amazing views. Water is clear and shallow at low tide for kids to play. Rogers park is about 10 minutes by kayak. Will definitely be back. This was our 2nd time staying in this home.

The house was a perfect location and perfect for our large family. We have had a family vacation for the last 7 years in Weeki Wachee, and this is one of the better homes we have stayed at and will definitely look into booking again.

House is in the perfect location on the river. Far enough away from the main party area but still close enough. Definitely easier if you gage a job boat with a small motor to use to get up river being current is very strong for paddling. (We rented a boat to use) only issue was deep freezer/fridge outside didn’t work very well and ice maker outside didn’t work. Other than that everything was perfect.

Very beautiful home as advertised with modern amenities. Great location with quick access to the lower Weeki Wachee river and gulf with equally great access to the upper Weeki Wachee river and aqua blue springs with crystal clear view of the sandy river floor. The manatees abounded. Short paddle away from the Upper Deck Cafe. The neighborhood is very clean and walkable. The kids loved the experience. No need to go anywhere else once there (except for food purchases, etc.).

Nice house. Check in was easy. Property manager was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Would stay again.

This is an amazing house! The location is perfect. Just down river from where everything is busy so there is less traffic going by. We had 8 people, 6 adults and 2 teens and had plenty of room. The kitchen is great! Access to kayaks and a paddle board for enjoying the river. Would stay here again! Thanks for. Great family Vaca!

The house was very nice and large. Quite a bit of stairs since the house is 3 stories you even have to climb up to the entrance. The water access is the main feature and it was so nice to be able to kayak and even swim off the back deck. The bathroom off the garage was very handy.
I wish the hosts had provided better quality and more essentials like decent quality toilet paper, (we had to run to the store to buy more) and soap and shampoo for bathrooms.

Everything was easy from the initial booking until we left. The property manager was very responsive and available. The property was nice and clean but there were a few surprises. While the house is on the main river as advertised, it isn’t on the prettiest part which is upriver a bit. There are houses across the river from this one whereas further up is undeveloped land across from the houses. There is also plant life at the bottom so the river itself is not as blue and clear at this spot as further upriver. This made it so we didn’t want to swim here. There were several kayaks for our use but several need some upkeep-loose straps, etc. Overall, we had a really nice stay. The house itself is very nice and the kitchen well-stocked.

The accommodation is one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. The description really doesn't do it justice. It's so well kept and maintained. Perfect in every way. The best stay we have had. Thank you

Wonderful location just up from very popular park, this spacious house was an excellent home base for an extended-family getaway. Kayaks, amazing water, dock space for our own boats, an outdoor kitchen/bar where we gathered with the other half of our large family (they rented across the river) each night. The group (aged 2 to 86 between the two places), LOVED the area and were happily busy for our 4-day stay.

Stayed for few nights, nice place.

Great location

This home provides great spaces for large family groups. There are both indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxation and fun. We especially enjoyed the views from the large windows over looking the river as we were able to clearly see Manatees, Dolphins and even watch a family of Osprey in a nest in a large tree across the river.
The home has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms though it is noisy from floor to floor due to all hard surface flooring and open railing.
We enjoyed our stay enough to book again for our summer 2023 trip.

Great location on the river. We totally had a blast on our trip. The view is fantastic howerver the House needs some TLC though. The a/c kept flipping warmer when we wanted to cool the house more, I called the manager who told me that they do not remotely control that but that is the only thing that makes since. The tub on the main floor was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival, we did that ourselves. The matresses need updating, the master bed was perfect, but they other matresses were not comfortable. We attempted to open one of the windows on the main floor and it is broken, not the one labled broken but the one to the left of that, which was not labled, but is also broken. We had a hard time getting it back closed, but eventually was successfull. It also would be great to have docking poles for a boat to be able to pull to the doc safely without scratching the boat. Also, one of the fans in the bedroom on the main floor shakes so much that it shook the bulb right out of the socket and it fell on the floor and broke in the middle of the night! Overall, great stay but the attention to detail was maybe missing.

We stayed in the lovely home for the weekend (April 2022). The check-in process was a breeze and communication with John was pleasant.
Pros:
The home is spacious, located right on the springs in a clean quiet neighborhood, nicely decorated, and a well-stocked kitchen
We saw manatees from the main floor of the home
The master bedroom bed was so extremely comfortable, and the room was so spacious
The property had several kayaks for guest use
The Downstairs patio was equipped with an air pump and lots of rafts so that you can lay out off the deck in the crystal-clear waters
The downstairs patio area is the best area in the entire house, we spent most of our time there
Cons:
Several of the windows in the living area were labeled broken, but the note on each window was very small so be mindful of this
The washing machine was labeled “out of order”
The kitchen was overtaken by sugar ants. Thankfully we caught it in time, and they didn’t get into our goods. We located a container of vinegar underneath the sink we used as a deterrent until we went to Home Depot the following morning to buy ant spray and liquid ant baits. We also found another ant trail in the main floor bathroom. In all, I think our exterminating skills took care of the problem without bothering the host
The back patio area has surveillance (RING) cameras, felt like we were always being watched. Not a fan of that. I’m assuming it’s for the neighbors as they were elderly, and it was noted several times in large red font in the “welcome” book about quiet time. I respect and understand that. I would be upset too if I had a lovely piece of property on this gorgeous spring and had a rental home beside me with unruly guests. So, it was easy for us as we are always respectful guests.
The kayaks are in dire need of TLC. The two-seater kayak was taking on water that we had to return it to the home. Some of the other kayaks had broken straps for the seats, but you could still use them (not too comfortable though) and one had a seat completely missing (so obviously we couldn’t use that one either).
State law requires each kayaker to have a life vest, but we only located 6 vests in the garage (glad we only needed 6)
In all, we had a fabulous time. Upon check out, I notified John to let him know of the minor issues at hand, as he may not have been informed by a former guest. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.
