With amazing views of Moosehead Lake, this lakefront cottage sits in an ideal setting. With a large lawn, towering birch trees and open lake views, you will be inclined never to leave this Greenville property. Centrally located just one mile from downtown Greenville, the location of this vacation rental is perfect for summer and winter enjoyment: World-class snowmobiling and fishing, Squaw Ski Resort just 7 miles away and the Red Cross Beach is only 2 minutes away by foot.
Unique features of this property include a large living room with great views of the lake, a bedroom with queen size bunk beds for little kids and big kids alike, a master bedroom with en-suite and a large kitchen (with a gas range, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker requiring k-cups) and dining room each with lake views. There is also a large deck with furniture and a BBQ grill available to renters.
We also offer a canoe and kayak for our renters to use.

This is the perfect vacation spot for a fun relaxing family vacation. Our teens loved everything about this vacation. Kayaking, swimming, hiking, reading, and playing tons of family games. It’s was exact what we needed before school starts up. Amazing property owners and just an overall excellent trip!

This is our 4th summer coming to this house and we absolutely love it! It’s the perfect layout for our family with young kids. The yard is large with plenty of space for outdoor activities. The dock has stairs for easy access to the water with a small beach area as well. It is close to town but on a quiet street. Communication with the owners is easy with quick response. We couldn’t recommend this place more!

This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had. The home was beautiful and well stocked. We spent the whole week on the dock ( which has stairs) relaxing, swimming and I can’t say enough about the gorgeous view! We will be coming back next summer 😃

To have a house right on the lake would be a dream to me. We were so happy to have been able to stay here for a week. Nice roomy back yard area. Nice doc. Great view of lake even sitting in the couch.
We rented a pontoon boat for a couple days.
When we first arrived it was hot in the house. But It did end up cooling down nicely each night. I miss read the description of the house. I thought AC was through out the house but it does say Just in the master bedroom. But again… it was very comfortable in the house after we got things opened up in the house. We will be back (I hope!)

We loved everything about this place; from the set up of the house, to the location to the water, to the absolutely beautiful views from everywhere, to the location to town. Our family of 7, ranging from 2-63, all loved it. We’ve made plans to come back again next summer to celebrate our second annual family vacation. Thanks for everything!

Ken and Lindsay's place was excellent for our week-long family trip to Moosehead Lake. The view from the house was unbeatable; the backyard had some flat green space for the dog to play, a firepit with chairs, and a private dock. The inside was just as amazing. Very clean, comfy beds, fun decor, and a full kitchen with lots of seating. Greenville is a cute little town that provides easy access to both sides of the lake, and it doesn't take long at all to head towards Mount Kineo. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this place!

The property and house were perfect! We enjoyed our stay here so much! Beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean. Location was great also. We walked into town for dinner and it was nice and close.

We truly enjoyed our stay her. The views from the living and dining area windows of the lake were amazing. And was convenient to town. The inside of the house was very nice and comfortable and also the deck was a great place to sit outside and enjoy the lake views. We enjoyed Kelly’s Landing and in the downtown there was a little shop Northwoods Gourmet Girl that had an amazing crab cake sandwich and homemade blueberry cobbler. May want bug spray for an outside activities in the area especially when hiking. We hiked at Lily Bay State Park and did see a moose crossing the road which was a blessing.

This was our second trip to this home and it was terrific. We had lovely spring weather and enjoyed the decks immensely. House is clean, comfy, and close to town and hiking. And we loved the easy clean up/check out process.

Initially we were coming up to snowmobile for the weekend. Due to the weather, we had to make last minute arrangements with a local guide and an ice house near Kineo. The location of this house is perfect and the views are amazing! Very comfortable accommodations with a well stocked kitchen. Hosts were very accommodating and responded to communication quickly. Would LOVE to stay here in the summer!

We had a wonderful time at our stay here. Our friend caught a 3 lb salmon ice fishing which we enjoyed that evening. The hosts were accommodating and allowed us to bring our dog last minute. Would stay here again!

We had a great time at this property for a weekend of ice fishing, especially with our friends in the property two houses over with the same hosts. This one had tons of space and supplies to host meals, and the location is right on the lake with a nearby playground. In the winter, the kids could easily walk over the ice to it. But, next time, we'll be back in the summer to catch the views with leaves and water!

We loved Moosehead Lake and especially the property. We arrived quite late in the season so the weather was a bit cold, but the house had such a cozy feel. We were looking for somewhere to relax and forget our busy lives. This is it. Beautiful, relaxing, and great for wildlife viewing. The town also had some unique experiences, from seaplane tours to a lake cruise aboard the Katahdin and delicious food. We will hopefully come back for another stay. ❤️🥰

This was our 3rd stay at Ken and Lindsay’s and it didn’t disappoint. They take such great care of the house, each year with new updates (new floors look amazing!). We feel like it’s our home away from home and my husband calls it his “happy place.” It’s in the perfect location, peaceful and right on the lake with 5 minute access to Greenville if you need groceries or to visit the Stress-Free Moose. We also love walking down the road the house is on which goes along the lake, eventually leading to a small public park where you can take in different lake views. We have done a couple of hikes in the area, but our favorite thing is to simply make a fire in the backyard, sip wine, and enjoy the ducks and the view!

This was a short, 2 night stay with my husband and our dog. The view is lovely and we enjoyed hearing the loons and watching the ducks and seaplanes taking off from Greenville. The setting was perfect for this older couple. Minimal stairs, comfortable home and close to town. Communication with the managers was excellent and instructions for entry and the home were easy to follow. Very appreciative and would certainly recommend this home!

We loved this location and enjoyed our stay very much. The house is on a side road so it is very quiet. The dock enabled us to rent a pontoon boat and drive right up to the property. The owners are very easy going and helpful.

The hosts were SUPER responsive- we had a few questions regarding the house prior to our visit and they answered within just a few minutes!
The house is BEAUTIFUL! It had all of the ameneties of home and then some- which is a rare find (in our experience) in this area! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the large living room was the perfect spot to relax after a long day outside. The beds were all very comfortable and we loved that the house was dog friendly so we could bring our two pups with us!
The house is within minutes of all of the ameneties Greenville has to offer! And the yard was soo spacious, so relaxing outside and enjoying the views of the lake with a fire was the perfect spot each morning and evening!
We loved our stay and will definitely be renting again for years to come!

The house is large and inviting. We really enjoyed the view of a broad waterfront on Moosehead Lake and it felt private from the neighbors. We enjoyed the decks and fire pit. It was convenient to town while still feeling quiet.

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well appointed. Check in was easy and the hosts were very nice. We has no issues while we were there so we didn’t have to bother them. It was a very relaxing and fun visit. I wish we had stopped by the Moosehead Meat and Deli earlier in our stay because they had wonderful looking meats ready for grilling and sides etc. Also Jamos pizza had some of the best sandwiches ever. We took the moose Safari trip from The Birches which was worth it even not seeing a moose. We had dinner there after. It was lovely. I would love to come back sometime.

Great location on the lake! We stayed with our children, pups, and parents, and it was the perfect size. Very nice open concept living room with lake views. We loved listening to all the wildlife and getting to see so many deer, foxes, ducks, and loons! Cute downtown you can walk to that was surprisingly quiet. The dockside restaurant was our favorite. We also enjoyed the ferry boat tour of the lake. Communication with hosts was perfect. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway - look no further!

This was our first visit to the Moosehead region and the home was the perfect place to stay. Views were great, area was quiet, enjoyed watching the seaplanes, visits by deer and close proximity to the public beach, Lily State Park and town. It was perfect! Hope to visit again.

This is the most accommodating rental for the price that I’ve found so far and also my favorite. The location is perfect, tucked away but also right near town so you get the full Maine experience with all the amenities of home. We were able to dock our jet ski and boat right on the property which is super convenient. I love this rental and I will keep going back as long as it’s an option!

Can’t say enough good things! Wonderful to be able to walk into town. Great dock for swimming. The use of the kayak and canoe was fun and the highlight of our week. The rooms are spacious at the well appointed home, beds are comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We hope to return!

This is our second time staying at this property and hope there will be a 3rd. It’s everything you want in a vacation at the lake. Excluding the weather, we have no complaints and had an amazing stay. Views are like no other and the daily visits by the local deer were a nice bonus. All the luxuries of home, convenient to town and great fishing spots. Thank you for your hospitality!
