Close to the center of the city. The bed was large and comfortable. It was clean. One of the young men at the reception was helpful.
The address on the booking com site is not correct so our taxi driver had to search for the hotel in the middle of the night by asking around and calling the receptionist several times. There are no lights in the street so at night it doesn’t feel very safe. The room is rather small, there is no cupboard nor are there any hangers to arrange your clothes. There is only one chair, one bed lamp and a wall plug on one side of the bed. There is no mosquito net in the window so you cannot ventilate the room. The Aircon is either full blast or off so you cannot use it. A bar / dance hall around the corner makes a lot of noice until late at night and early in the morning builders start knocking down walls in the adjacent building. So we didn’t sleep a lot… It could be a nice little place if taken better care of. Maybe after de building works end and improve the quality of the service?

Just a couple of minutes' walk from the historic centre; easy to get taxis; comfortable mattress
The man on reception stared at my breasts every time he talked to me.; stained sheets on 2 of 3 nights

Nothing! The staff was extremely rude and didn’t honor our reservation, even when we had already paid for the night.
The staff was extremely rude and didn’t honor our reservation, even when we had paid for the night and had the evidence in the app and in the email.
We even called the police and when into a two hours fight against the hotel staff and they didn’t took responsibility for their mistake and we had to leave and book for another accommodation at 11:00 PM and we struggled to find another good hotel with a good prize range and good location.

The girl that was in the reception in the morning was really nice and helped us with information and a taxi to the terminal.
They did not say anything about the street to the hotel being closed for work on the road until really late the same day of our check in, which was late at night, so we got there and it was scary. On top of that unfortunate situation the structure itself had flaws: you could smelled himidity in the room, the water in the toilet had really low pressure or was clogged, with consequences for No.2, and it wasn't really clen, there were hair in the bathroom and a cockroach.

Courtyard parking for my motorbike. AC, fridge, warm shower, very best location in pedestrian area.
They don’t tell you: The main lobby of the address is closed due to street closure. Access is by the side, on a pedestrian street. There is a paid car park very close and walk behind the address 100 meters

Good wi-fi
Central location
Next to a good fish restaurant
First) the address given on the app is not correct: there are massive roadworks in course, so no entry from there. No signs to redirect and no prior communication from the property about the alternative entry. The reception (it was possible to see it through the door) was empty and looked abandoned. Tried to call but no answer. Rang the bell but no one showed up. Waited 15 minutes (while thinking it was a scam) and after the 4th or 5th try ringing the bell a young fellow showed up. He was rude, unapologetic, impolite without respect and with an arrogant attitude.
Second) the room looked like a prison cell. Dark, no windows except for a small one on a hallway, no place where store clothing, air conditioning blocked at freezing temperature with no possibility to adjust it, bathroom with a disgusted urine smell and could hear all what the next room guests were saying (even if they were kind of whispering).
It's quite a new building but reminded me of a run down indian guest house of the 80s, with the urine smell and prison cell like rooms.

nothing
unfriendly and unprofessional staff

Good location for the old part of the city - but be aware there are roadworks that cut off vehicle access to it. I'm sure they will last several months. Not the fault of the hotel but if you need to get close to it by car, you need to ring them up to find out how to do it.
Otherwise the staff were friendly and professional, it was clean and tidy and very close to many places to eat and drink.
Why on earth the aircon just works from just an on/off switch on the wall and you can't moderate the temperature or fan or set it in any way, I have no idea.
De-chalking the sink tap and shower head wouldn't go amiss to at least show there is some water pressure. Water was very hot though which is good.
Main problem - not only is there a noisy bar two doors down there seems to be an industrial ventilator/fan/air con unit behind the back wall of the rooms. This resonated through the wall and even though I was assured it didn't, it did last all night though would go off periodically but to unfailingly come back on again later.

Value for money
It was a real disaster to find hotel location due to working process on street and they should inform us before to know it

The wifi worked.
Firstly, the main entrance to this hotel is currently (Oct 2022) situated in a building site. The entire street has been dug up and is inaccessible by car and by foot. The only way to get into the hotel is via an unmarked side entrance. There was no mention of this on booking.com and I only found the hotel by wandering around and sheer luck. The most alarming issue for me occurred one day when I returned to find the front door of my room wide open. Clearly my room was in the process of being cleaned, but there were no staff around and I walked in from the street directly into my room, sat down, ate lunch and went on the wifi for about 20 mins before any staff returned. It was a miracle that nothing was stolen. In addition to these problems the access issues extend into the evening when the side entrance is locked. The only way to get out is to get staff to open the door and then when you return there is no way to get back in other than bang on the door until someone appears, no bell or buzzer. On top of all of this the rooms all face onto the car park, so when someone decides to enter or leave at 2am everybody knows about it.

1. The comfortable, spacious rooms at an economical price
2. The central location is 100% great....right in the middle of downtown Easy to walk to or get a taxi get to most museums or sites.
3. The motel- like building design of hotel, the strategic location of reception, and casual, family - like atmosphere is very comforting and convenient and the gate adds additional security for all guests and car owners.
The lighting in rooms needs improvement - too dark. (The paint is very dark and the lights in rooms are very dull. There should be options for brighter lighting.)
No phones to call reception, directly.
No closets, no hangars.
Difficulty to get receipts.(Whether for work or other, receipts for payments should be readily available.)
More electrical outlets.

Suite availability on first floor. Connection between 2 rooms of suite. Space. Refrigerator. Parking = motel- like, cars can driive up to rooms, in enclosed garage. Safety /security. Central location of hotel.
No hangars. No wardrobe. No mosquito net on windows (I had to buy). Mosquitos are an issue - there should be mosquito nets for beds, too! No fan (Weather humid. AC often too strong.) The hotel is listed as disabled- friendly; toilets are very, very low so bar should be provided.

The owners/staff are super friendly. We really felt welcoming and the place looked amazing. Like so many already described, it is like a museum.
We even got a giftbag upon leaving with water bottles and a homemade keychains. So nice.
I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to San Cristobal. It's also very close to everywhere you want to go.
That we didn't stay longer.

Updated fixtures, good water pressure, hot water, price for pet 2000 pesos, excellent secure parking, very nice staff, easy check in.
I would never stay here again simply because the bar/club downstairs played god awful vibrating techno music until 4am. I got no sleep and it was a thursday

The location was pretty good.
No hot water in the morning. Rooms were bare(no furniture). The tv didn't work so we had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. I guess you get what you pay for.
