With a whole house overhaul in 2020, the bright and open-concept kitchen is ready for a crowd and the custom square dining table easily seats 8-12. It's a perfect location for family getaways, weekends with friends, or even a holiday break.
Hang out back on the new and improved large patio, sit by the outdoor fire pit, enjoy an 8-person hot tub under the stars, or even float the day away in the 30' round pool. With 3 bedrooms on main floor, and 1 bedroom in lower level, the house sleeps 12. Also downstairs, you’ll find ping pong and a pool table.
The house is close to everything you love about Harbor Country and yet, away from the crowds. Run or bike to Warren Dunes, the Michigan Fruit Stand, or Greenbush Brewery, just about a mile down the road. Plan a vineyard or brewery tour... you can even use our bike trailer to tote gear, kids, or dogs! Willow Dunes was an exceptional place for our family to get away, relax and recharge. This home is in proximity to everything SW Michigan has to offer; Beaches, family fun, good restaurants, exceptional ice cream, Dunes and if you want to stay in - the pool, jacuzzi and basement game room provide hours of enjoyment. The owner is exceptional and super responsive and anticipatory to anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will be back again for sure. Highly recommend Willow Dunes for a home away from home.

We loved everything about this property. The house is great for vacation entertaining. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The yard is amazing with the huge pool fire pit and patio. The host is also very responsive to any problems. You might have. It was the best rental experience ever highly recommend.

This was our second visit to this lovely home and it's still an amazing place to stay. There's plenty of room to spread out…one group could be cooking in the GIANT kitchen, another playing pool/ping pong in the basement, or relaxing in the hot tub. The more outdoorsy folks could make s'mores around the fire pit. The jumbo dining room table was more than enough space for me to work and my friends to have lunch. I'm honestly not sure how anyone could come up with a negative comment. The place is spotless, with amenities for days. I'd go back in a heartbeat…and we weren't even there when the pool was open!

Pros: The location is convenient to Warren Dune State Park beach (2 minutes!) and restaurants like Greenbush and Staymaker in Three Oaks. It’s only about 20 minutes to St. Joseph Silver Beach.
The house is roomy with a good size kitchen and huge island. The dining room table is large. The washer/dryer is convenient. Ample towels. Big backyard with turkey and fawn sightings. TV was nice for watching a football game. Appliances were nice. Dishwasher pods and other products provided. Nearby railroad track sounds were entertaining for toddlers, but maybe a negative for some.
Cons: The kitchen needs an inventory taken. There were only 7 forks, no decent frying pans, no big cookie sheets for pizza, etc. The furniture was cute but not very comfy. The pool was so cold it was unusable- as if it was just filled. The pool table and ping pong table have seen better days and the equipment was worn out.
Overall, it was a nice place but for our family and the price point, it disappointed in regard to the reasons it was chosen.

We love southwest Michigan and love the lake and Sawyer. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool. It was way bigger than we expected! The living space is huge and perfect for family meals.

This house was perfect for a week away with three children and a dog! The pool was a huge hit! Very well maintained and refreshing with plenty of floats and room for the whole family. We enjoyed the outdoor seating for our meals and the fire pit was perfect for evening fires. Great proximity to the Warren Dunes, as well as shops (ice cream and antiques, our favorites!), several nature preserves with hiking trails, and a little “fun park” for kids (go-carts, bumper cars, mini golf, etc). The house was a great size for a family to spread out and everyone thought the beds were comfy. Plenty of games and books for a rainy day. Elizabeth is a wonderful host!

The property was as listed and more. Everything you needed was there. It was clean and homey. Meijer was just down the highway. We drove to New Buffalo, 20 min ride, ate at the Stray Dog. OMG the food was very good. I was disappointed it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. Maybe next time because there will definitely be a next time.

The house was perfect for all of us. Plenty of space for all and lots to occupy our time. We spent evenings in the comfortable kitchen area playing games. The hot tub was an added bonus. We will recommend the house to others and hopefully be back. Love this area!

Every part of the process from booking to leaving the property was made very easy by the property owner . We even accidentally locked ourselves out and vrbo had no issue contacting the owner ( my phone was left inside ) The place is a clean and welcoming place to stay ! Wanting to visit again :)

The property is really nice and modern. It's a great little getaway and is so close to the Warren dunes. There is plenty to do north and south within a 15 minute drive. I have to give extra credit for cleanliness; the place allows pets and I didn't notice any pet hair on the furniture. Good job! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating when we had trouble working the themastat. I'm not very tech savvy and she was able to adjust the themastat to our liking without coming to the property. Wonderful place for a family to stay!

A nice get-away for the Thanksgiving holiday and birthday. The hot tub was great, the fireplace was used every night and the pool table and table tennis (ping-pong) was so much fun! Despite the cold, we visited the Warren Dunes for some sunset photos - which was a short 5 minute drive. Very generous that bar soap, body lotion, laundry packs and firewood were provided for our stay - never had that before. Even though we only had 4, the kitchen table would be great for at least 12 people. Also, we brought some of our favorite games to play, however, they had quite the selection from which we also played. We will definitely come back again!

The house was perfect with all the essentials, so much room and so much to enjoy with the hot tub, fire pit was perfect for star gazing and relaxing, and the pool table allowed for some good indoor fun. Our experience with this quaint home near warren dunes was exactly what we needed. We traveled with 2 kids under 8 and grandparents …. It was a great place to stay with a wide range of generations due to ease of home layout, large yard for play, hot tub to enjoy the fall foliage, and HUGE table for shared meals. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities which is great when traveling and less to worry about for packing details. Furthermore I want to thank the hosts for the ease in check out. We have traveled extensively at vacation home rentals- and the exhaustive lists for check outs have gotten ridiculous where we have debated on going back to hotel stays so we can actually finish a relaxing getaway. Staying at this wonderful sawyer home ended with ease in check out and not a laundry list of “to dos”.
Lastly- lots of great places nearby for families- Peats Cider Social, Three Oaks, Tabor hill winery, sarett nature center and of course the dunes!!

Fun family vacation
My husband and I along with two nieces and their families had a wonderful week long stay at our Willow Dunes Retreat. The house was just as advertised and met all our needs. The teenagers enjoyed their trundle bed in the semi finished basement rec room with pool & ping pong and all the privacy they wanted. The open concept kitchen and dining area allowed everyone to be involved in meal prep and cleanup, and was perfect for evening game playing. Having a laundry room came in handy since we made daily use of the amazing 33 ft swimming pool which could accommodate all 8 of us and floats at the same time.! Beautiful beaches were within 5-10 minute drive; but the pool won out most days! We enjoyed the fire pit several evenings and the gas grill and patio. It was a very private property but within 15 minutes of quaint towns, shopping and a beautiful park with playground and excellent disc golf course which the guys enjoyed 3 times. We had two minor appliance malfunctions that our landlord addressed immediately. Her husband was even gracious enough to come out on July 4th morning to get our gas grill and the freezer ice cube maker operating satisfactory. A really wonderful couple to communicate with and a vacation stay above and beyond our expectations! Thank you Elizabeth and Jim!

Short trip to the beach
Loved the location, you are only about a five minute drive to Warren Dunes. Beach chairs are provided at the rental and there is plenty of space and seating in the kitchen and living area for quality time with family and friends. Loved the fire pit, pool and hot tub as well.

We had a fun filled week staying at this location. There was alot to do in the area. The week was very hot so we took advantage of the pool and the hottub when in cooled down at night. Elizabeth, the owner was very responsive with any questions that we had and even provided a detailed packet of information prior to our visit.

Family getaway
Our winter stay at the Sawyer Warren Dunes retreat was great, house is beautifully updated and furnished, plenty of space to spread out and relax, huge kitchen for meals, cozy fireplace, large tables for eating and doing puzzles/playing games, enjoyed the hot tub, and so close to the beach for walks. Great little towns nearby for restaurants, coffee etc. (Sawyer, Three Oaks, Bridgman). Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus and the main reason we booked this property. Property owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

The owner was readily accessible and made our stay very pleasurable. Left incidentals which made it very inviting and I felt like I was staying in a resort. Lovely stay in Sawyer!
Spent a great week at this large, well-appointed, and well-maintained home with 2 other families. The house is great and has everything you need. We especially loved the huge kitchen and table, we ate many meals and played many card games there! The pool table and ping pong table in the basement were great fun; we didn't get a chance to use the karaoke machine...but maybe next time! The pool and hot tub were large, very clean, and well-used by all!! A great alternative to the beach when we just felt like taking it slow. The beach at Warren Dunes was a super-close drive away and we never had trouble parking. The dunes themselves were incredible and everyone enjoyed hiking up and then plunging into the lake afterwards. We loved eating tacos, pizza and ice cream at the beach from the various vendors that were present. We also rented a paddleboard (they also have kayaks, park in the last parking lot for this) which is my personal favorite! Elizabeth (owner) was super-responsive from the beginning, when I booked the property, to the time I arrived onsite. She answered any questions or concerns quickly and was kind and friendly to work with. Would definitely recommend this property!! Thanks Elizabeth!!

Everything you could want!
Nonstop pure Michigan at this property! Our four year old loved it all.
The beach is a two minute drive, and easy parking, great water and sandy beach with food trucks.
The pool was an amazing (warm!) option for when we were all beached out. The fire pit s’mores were delightful.
Sawyer has adorable shops, and is close to so many great restaurants.

Great beach weekend, even on an off-season weekend
We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful house. It was too cold for the pool, but just right for the fire and hot tub. With the big yard and beautiful indoors, the kids had a great time too. Warren Dunes was such a short drive, it would be super easy to come and go. We spent a few hours there each day on the beach or hiking around. We will definitely want to come back again!

Long weekend getaway from Chicago
We left Chicago for a long weekend and really enjoyed our time at this house! Though the neighborhood didn't have the best views, the house was beautiful and the location was very close to Warren Dunes. We stayed in April so hot tub was great and the house had everything we needed! Communication from the owner was terrific too.

Amazing, highly recommend
Even though it was just me, my husband and dog for this trip (thanks COVID), there's room for many more. One group could relax by the fireplace while another enjoys their fave shows on the tv in the sunny living room—they're far enough apart they wouldn't hear each other. Re TV: loads of streaming options! Re wifi: lightning fast, and I had the chance to test it because I had to work/connect to remote server…all flawless. Kitchen is huge and fully equipped. The bed (king) was super comfy, pillows/blankets galore. Nice yard, super quiet (occasional train, but loud), great grill. Hot tub looked great although we didn't use it (we're idiots). Ping pong and pool tables in the basement were awesome! Loved the location, quick zip to Greenbush/downtown Sawyer in one direction, Bridgman in the other. Any questions for host Elizabeth were answered within minutes if not seconds. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Lovely house near the dunes
We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Elizabeth's house. Our kids loved the pool and ping pong table in the basement. Our dog appreciated the dog treats in the cabinet and the dog bed! The house is nicely decorated and very well equipped and Elizabeth's instructions are helpful and easy to follow. The beautiful Warren Dunes Park is just a few minutes drive away. Wonderful Michigan Getaway
Elizabeth's place was absolutely perfect for our family's weekend getaway! It's lovely and clean and she included many thoughtful extras like dog treats, beach towels and ample firewood. Our kids loved the big backyard, fire pit and the hot tub. Our pup loved lying by the indoor fireplace lounging the day away. The bedrooms were cozy and comfy and both our kids asked if we could "take the mattresses home with us." We'll definitely be back! Thank you Elizabeth!
