Epic vacation for my friends and I. We swam, walked the beach, kayaked, paddle board, biked, paddle ball, pickle ball, tennis, board games, sunrise and sunsets. If only there were hours in a day to do more! This house allowed us many opportunities to enjoy our time together to create life long memories. Communication was excellent!!

We rented this house so that we could spend Thanksgiving with our elderly parents and Aunt who live in VA Beach (ages ranging 24 to 83) The house was beautiful and spacious and the kitchen was very well appointed. The two dining tables allowed us to eat together as a family. I have no complaints about the house, it was perfect!
The property management company, Sandbridge Blue, is another story. We had NO cable TV or internet for the ENTIRE stay. Phone calls made Wednesday evening were never returned so we drove to the agency office Thanksgiving morning and by luck someone was there. She claimed to be aware of the outage, but nothing was done. Being home renters, we were not able to report the outage and it was very difficult to get information out of Cox, the Internet provider. However, we did find out on Friday that the outage was never reported by the property agency. Watching sports as a family on Thanksgiving is a family tradition, and a great way for the adult grandkids to spend time with their grandfather. We are also big soccer fans and we're excited to be able to watch the World Cup together. Not able to happen. When we checked out on Saturday, there was still no service!
On Thanksgiving day we noticed a significant amount of water on the floor in the master bathroom due to a leaking toilet. We called the property management company 4 times, however we were never given an option to leave a message, we were just placed on continuous hold. Yes it was Thanksgiving, but a water leak is an emergency ! Out of respect for the homeowners, we stopped using that bathroom, making it a bit more challenging for 10 adults. An email was sent to the property management company after we returned home, as of today, 5 weeks later, we have yet to receive a response.
In summary - GREAT HOUSE, HORRIBLE and disappointing property management in Sandbridge Blue

Spectacular Summer Getaway
This property is awesome and perfect for families! The entire family loved it. It is accurately described. The pool was smaller than I had envisioned, but I soon realized it was the perfect size for our family. We had at least 5-7 grandchildren and 3-6 adults there at a given time during the week and had plenty of space to spread out!The beach was close enough to walk to, but the kids were really happy to start and end their day in the pool and the adults loved watching them from the beautiful Gazebo or one of the two spacious decks. The outdoor shower had hot and cold water, so after a day at the beach or in the pool, it was great to wash off the sand or chlorine. The Management Company at Sandridge Blue were very quick to respond to any issues we had. hey quickly notified us of a tablet we left before it was even missed. They were kind enough to ship it to us right away at no cost. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything needed for meal preparation. There are a few minor things, the carpet on the stairs is quite worn and some of the screens and sliding doors were in disrepair. This is probably just a pet peeve of mine, but I really don't like using used toilet brushes unless they have been properly sanitized. One of the brushes in one of the bathrooms should have been thrown away and replaced. I highly recommend replacing with the disposable dollar store toilet brushes after each rental. We had an issue with the air in the downstairs bedroom, but the management company dispatched someone to fix it right away. The ping pong table was broken which was only noticeable when the kids started to play with it. Renters may be interested to know was not sure if the property had both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. I recommend the property give instructions for the microwave, as it is not the standard microwave oven that is in most rental properties. Some of the bath towels were hard and not comfortable to the skin. I recommend providing at least two towels and washcloths per guest instead of one. I brought my own as suggested, but for convenience, it would be great to include at least one beach towel per guest for the pool or beach. The starter supply of paper towels, tissue, etc. is quite small, so remember to bring your own supplies, as you will quickly need them. Any issues were promptly acknowledged and quickly addressed by the management company. I would definitely stay at this property again!

What a gem!
Our stay was in early May and the weather was just awful but this is a place where you don't mind having to stay inside when you have to. The Floorplan has large common areas to come together and the sleeping areas are far enough apart you won't be disturbed by the late night games going on in the common areas. Clean and well appointed home... we'll visit this one again!

Amazing property
The property was everything I expected it to be. The only thing that was missing was a basketball court.

Peace and Quiet
The house was absolutely beautiful! We loved having the upper and lower levels for privacy. LOTS of space and comfy seating. Enjoyed hearing the birds singing. The peace and quiet was just what we needed! One heads-up: be prepared to purchase everything you'd have at home for the kitchen and bathrooms. Aside from a roll of TP in each bathroom and one trash bag for the trash and one for the recycling in the kitchen (dishes, cookware, silverware and glasses ARE provided, of course), there is nothing provided that you might typically expect with a VRBO rental. So either bring it all with you or stop off at Walmart or the grocery store BEFORE you arrive. With that said, we wouldn't hesitate to come back again!!

Perfect for a Spring Break Getaway
The house is quite large and provided ample space for everyone in our party of 8 to sprawl out, and have local family members over for frequent game nights and family dinners. The view off the canal was nice. I imagine this property is even more attractive in the summer during peak season. I also want to provide a strong compliment to the management company as they were fantastic and very timely at addressing any questions or concerns!!

Vaca 2021
Beautiful house , does need some upgrades done as far as lighting for pool area, fixing the 2 broken sliding doors, and upgrading the cleaning staff. We were not able to get into the house until an hour late because of cleaning crew and then found dirty clothes in closet from previous guests, potato chips in carpet in dining room and enclosed porch, as well as jelly smeared on dining room table and chairs. Ran into huge cobwebs as we came in the front door that could have easily been swept down. We enjoyed our stay and working with VRBO was great as always, owner just needs to keep up with some fixer upper things that were a little inconvenient but overall stay was great other than the cleanliness. House is very true to listing and to pictures, would stay again. I would also recommend a list of how everything works in the house, ex. (tv, microwave, lighting etc),

Awesome rental
This was a great rental for a relaxing week vacation with 10 people, 3 families. It was an easy walk to the beach, even for ice cream if you like walking or riding a bike. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy a meal or play games together & the pool was great. The property managers checked on us & responded quickly to an issue we had with a bees nest. I would definitely recommend this property for your vacation.

Perfect family vacation home
We arrived at 3pm after a long drive (10+ hours) we thought check in time was 4pm but cleaning staff had not cleaned the home yet. Property manager informed us that the fine print says check in might not be until 6pm. We checked in at 6pm, home wasn't cleaned very well which was very disappointing. But the home was fantastic otherwise, plenty of room, nicer than pics, pool and outside area very relaxing. We rode our bikes to beach or walked - it was close enough. The beach was spectacular.

Our time to slow down
The property matched the description very well. The non-master rooms are relatively small, but when on a vacation, do you really need to hang in a bedroom? We loved the pool and the 2 person swing! The screened in porch, although torn screen and broken door, was the favorite spot for just about everything: games, coffee, lunch, dinner - what a treat (The rocking swivel chairs and single swing were such a surprise!). We love to cook, so enjoyed the gas grill and stove. We brought our own knives and additional cook wear, but the kitchen had most of what you would need for everyday cooking. We loved the inland waterway and spent many days kayaking and paddle boarding. Short walk to beach! Thanks for a lovely vacation spot.

Great quiet vacation house
We enjoyed our stay at Cherish the Day in Sandbridge! House is newly upgraded, nice layout and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and the porch swing. Nice short walk to quiet Sandbridge Beach a great vacation spot.

Beautiful Property!!
This was an amazing property in a beautiful neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. Grilled and ate many meals in enjoying the scenery and all the property has to offer. Kids caught crabs and fish off the dock and used the pool almost everyday. We did not have to check in with management regarding any issues but they did check in with us a few times during the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. Will definitely come back to this house in the future.

Lovely home on the water
We enjoyed a week-long stay at this beautiful home, with enough room for the entire family to relax and unwind. We really valued the screened in porch for all of our meals as well as the family room to relax late into the evenings.
The pool and dock were such a bonus treat for us. We fished just about daily right from the dock and we rented kayaks for the week to explore the back bay. The accommodations were comfy and the kitchen a great layout with lots of supplies (be sure to bring all of the cooking necessities, aka spices, etc., from home though)
Our only "disappointment" was the lack of attention from the management team, wherein we had to call for three days straight to get outdoor lounge chairs to actually sit by the pool. There were only two available (despite the six +) shown in the photos on the listing. The picnic bench umbrella was also missing - but we were told that a new one is on order.
Thank you for the chance to unwind as a family at your lovely home.

Getaway Greatness
I cannot say enough good things about this property! We were thoroughly impressed with the size of the house, layout and location. We had 3 families (8 people) and we all had our own space. Then plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to gather for meals and play. This property is OUTSTANDING!

Lovely peaceful getaway
This is a beautiful place -- lovely home with lots of room for hanging out and great views of the saltwater canals. Sandbridge is a great spot away from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. We especially enjoyed the Back Bay Wildlife preserve -- amazing sunsets and views. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We stayed with myself, my partner, my parents, and two teenagers -- this house was a good fit for a multigenerational gathering. Elevator was great for the folks. Swing on the porch, sunbathing chairs on the deck and big tvs were great for the teenagers. Only thing to point out that we didn't know is that you cannot open or close the garage doors from the outside -- which is inconvenient because it means that every time you come or go someone has to run up the stairs and go around -- instead of using the convenient elevator or lower door out of the garage. This was fine for us but if everyone in the party was counting on the elevator for mobility reasons would be a problem.

Great home!
We were looking for a nice getaway where we could be away from the crowds. The home was beautiful. The elevator was awesome for bringing in all our belongings and groceries for the week. My husband who loves to cook was happy to see the gas stove and grill. Loved watching the ducks and Heron on the canal. Beach was close by. Really enjoyed our stay.
