Quaint little house in a unique little town. Had everything we needed for a short weekend stay. One block from Main St and all the stores and restaurants. No central AC, but the air conditioners kept it very cool. Super hot water. The shared parking area is small and can be difficult to maneuver when others aren’t conscious of the area.

Very clean and quaint but not ideal in some situations.
This property is perfectly located in Cold Spring and is very clean. However, there isn’t a single full bathroom in the entire house. The ad says 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. But that is not accurate. The down stairs bathroom has the only shower in the house with a toilet. But, doesn’t have a sink to wash your hands after using the bathroom. The upstairs bathroom has a sink and a toilet. But no shower or tub. All bedrooms are upstairs as well. Which makes taking showers extremely inconvenient. If you’re traveling with extended family or even friends you’re not super close to, it will make the bathroom and shower situation pretty uncomfortable. Now, as others have said, it is extremely clean. But the ceilings are very low upstairs and the staircase could really injure a tall person in the middle of the night. With the description on VRBO and the pictures that were posted, you could not have known any of this until you arrived in person. I just wished they would have been more transparent about the description especially for what we had to pay per night.

Amazing Location
Probably one of the best locations I have ever stayed in! The property was great and basically in town. I would say this house would comfortably fit 5 adults we were a bit crowded with 6 since the 3rd bedroom is a twin size bed and through the bathroom. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend if you want a place in town cold springs walking distance to everything.

Comfortable Stay for a Weekend Getaway!
We were so happy to find this house! An adorable cozy place with a cottage vibe to it just off Main Street in Cold Spring. Spotlessly clean with fresh flowers on the table and plenty of linens provided. I loved the quaint peaceful block. Walked from the train station to the house, to restaurants and bakeries, and all the hiking the area has to offer. The house was well appointed. Maybe not ideal for really tall people as ceilings were low in spots, although that didn't affect our group of 5 at all. I've come to the area many times but so rarely have stayed over... this was such a great thing to do after a long hiking day and the check-in/checkout and communication with the host could not have been better! A relaxing weekend getaway that I'll come back for again! Also worth mentioning that the host was very accomodating in regard to early bag drop off and leaving bags after standard check out time. This might not always be possible, of course, but it was very nice that we had that available to us so we could stay in town a bit longer on Sunday without hauling weekend bags around with us, and that the host let us know that there was no rush to depart on Sunday either even. Thank you!
