Killington Ski Area is only a half-mile away with an adventure center, gondola rides, and a bike park for summer guests, and spectacular winter slopes to ski and snowboard during colder months. You'll also have a free shuttle to take you to Snowshed Lodge for some family fun. Drive five-and-a-half miles north to get some terrific early morning exercise on Deer Leap Trail, where you'll find some breathtaking views of woodland and natural rock formations.
THINGS TO KNOW
All Mountain Green buildings will undergo roof construction from May 6, 2024, until October 31, 2024. Scaffolding will be around the bottom entrance of Building 1. There will also be scaffolding around Building 2 and 3. The scaffolding is going up around Building 2 on May 6, 2024, and Building 3 on May 13, 2024. We request guests be careful of the scaffolding and not approach it. Work hours are typically from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on weekdays (evening/weekend work may occur).
Mountain Green amenities will be closed until further notice. No refunds or discounts will be given due to this.
The shuttle bus will only run on weekends and holidays this winter season. The amenities are managed and controlled by the Mountain Green property management team. Please visit the Mountain Green Resort website to get up-to-date status on amenities by clicking the 'Today's Amenities Schedule' link found on the home page. Vacasa will do its best to provide updates. Mountain Green does shut the amenities down towards the end of March annually for spring maintenance.

Convenient location close to slopes with a shuttle bus too. 4:00 is a late check in and ours was delayed slightly while cleaning crew finished.
It did meet our needs and was comfortable.

We booked this last minute. The property couldn’t be any closer to the mountain. It’s across the street from the snowshed lot. The condo itself was clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5. It seems like there are lots of improvements that the condo association could do to the outside of the building but this didn’t affect our stay and we would definitely stay in this condo again.

Our stay would have been better if the listing stated on going construction sun up to sun down on the whole complex which involved scaffolding around the entire building. With the listing only stating no use of the balcony or the parking lot that was misleading. I would wait to book this place until all construction is done unless you like having to hear construction going on all day. Also note there are no bathrooms by the pool so you have to walk back up to your place to use.

The unit itself was good and it’s in a very good location. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to have everything you would need for basic meals. The fireplace was unusable-all the fireplaces in the resort were deemed unsafe by the fire marshall. WiFi reception was inconsistent-we were told they were changing the system.

This was our 5th stay at Mountain Green in the past year, and in the third different unit rented. The communications ahead of stay were timely and helpful. The unit was generally comfortable and has had recent updates (bathrooms, for example). It was clean. With a few simple investments the kitchen would be much more useful - The coffee maker needs replacing. It worked, but it was pretty worn out and needed a thorough cleaning to get the old grounds out of it before using (no auto off is a hazard for someone). Also, some basic utensils in the kitchen would go a long way in making it more enjoyable for those prepping snacks or meals for family. The veggie peeler is not really functional, could use a pizza cutter, and a proper cutting board. Compared to the other MG units we've stayed in it seemed a bit noisier - doors being closed upstairs at 3am has never bothered us with other buildings/units. Next time we stay here we'll bring a kitchen box with our go-to utensils, and a white noise machine. All-in-all, a convenient place to stay close to the bike park and one we'd consider again.

Most VRBOs we've stayed in are direct from the owner. They are typically stocked well so as to just bring a toothbrush. There was no food or condiments in this property and the overall property was under multi-year maintenance (no pool, hot tub, restaurant, or retail). Plus we struggled communicating with the property before our stay to learn more and know what to expect. Not something I was used to, especially if they are "professionally managed".

The only real problem that I had was initially communication between Vacasa and VRBO was difficult As I had initially booked two nights in a row but did so separately and thus had a check out time in between the two days. Trying to combine the two days so I didn’t have to check out and get some of the fees refunded took way too much time on the phone

Apartment is good but building management should do better
The apartment itself was fine - very close to slopes, clean, comfortable sleeping/bathing/living areas. Kitchen was well equipped but missed a kettle which for us is a must. We were disappointed with some management and building issues; with an already early and non flexible checkout at 10AM, housekeeping were entering the apartment uninvited at around 9AM. Snow in the driveway and parking areas was not shoveled or otherwise evacuated, making them hazardous and nearly inaccessible for our all season tiers. Tap water are with a horrible aftertaste but this may be a regional issue. We did get for a very good price so overall would probably stay here again despite shortcomings.

The condo was clean and in good condition. Accommodates 6 people very comfortable.
The condo in the winter is disappointing since you can't use the fireplace. The facility is apparently not being managed very well as the pool and sauna completely closed down in peak skin season for maintenance which in the winter is very disappointing especially for the whole season. The location is very good in relation to the Killington ski lodge which is about less than 2 minutes drive. They have shuttles but don't run them during the week due to staffing issues. Much of the Killington resort mountain has consolidated services to a central area due to staff shortage in order to be able to accommodate. Recommend going mid week since its very quiet and great service .

We recently stayed this January sking etc. The condo unit is great and easily sleeps 6 ppl. Everything in working order and clean!
Exception is Fireplace our order! Pool and Hot tubs in main building are closed for extended maintenance which in winter is disappointing after sking all day!

The condo is updated, clean, and very comfortable for 4 adults. We were there for Thanksgiving and able to prepare our entire meal in the condo- many pots/pans, dishes, and glassware were available. The water had a very strong "salt" flavor, so we had to purchase water for drinking and coffee making- even the restaurant in Mountain Green had the same water (we have stayed in Mountain Green for many years and never have had the tap water like that).
We experienced a major water leak on our first morning- nice to know that Vacasa has on-site maintenance to address any problems immediately. Unfortunately, it was a holiday and stores were closed for parts- we had to listen to water running all night until it could be repaired the next day.

Fall stay
Nice location, quiet, clean air. Everything worked. Good WiFi signal. 2 private bedrooms-1 with queen bed, 1 with two twin beds. There’s a sofa bed in the living room. Nice to have 1-1/2 bathrooms.

We the the whole place beautiful apartment just the right amount of space the the decor had everything we needed our three children had so much fun loved their room the beds were super comfy very clean. We will definitely be coming back!

The condo owner had some board games and other kid friendly gear, which was appreciated... but the highlight here was the proximity to the mountain - super close.Another highlight was eating dinner at the restaurant in the building next door - HOPS. The food was typical bar/tavern fare, but the people were so nice and went out of there way to make sure our family was happy and full.The only reason why we didn't give our stay 5 stars is that there are a few minor details we had expected, but the condo didn't have. The kitchen has most of the items you would want, but there was no knife bigger than a steak knive, no cutting board, no pealer or pot bigger than a 3 quart pot. This condo was a very clean, recently redone and well designed. The condo was as advertised, comfortable and very close to Killington - a 5-10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive.
Due to COVID the shuttles weren't running and the spa/pool wasn't available, but it was exactly what we were looking for. The condo owner had some board games and other kid friendly gear, which was appreciated... but the highlight here was the proximity to the mountain - super close.
Another highlight was eating dinner at the restaurant in the building next door - HOPS. The food was typical bar/tavern fare, but the people were so nice and went out of there way to make sure our family was happy and full.
