So relaxing staying by the lake. The house had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Our dog loved the backyard and kids pleasantly surprised to see the video arcade player. Our 2nd stay at the Lakehouse I’m sure it won’t be our last. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful stay.

We had such a nice time with the kids and dogs. The kayaks that were provided gave endless fun for the kids. Life jackets were also there for use. Great view. Great location. We took kids to Jamberoo action park which a very short drive from the property. There was huge variety of restaurants to get delivery or eat at. Communication with host was fantastic. Beds were so comfortable. Just a really easy home to stay in. House is on a main road but you wouldn’t know it Huge auto front gate locks everyone in nice n safe. Good sized yard. The dogs loved it We’ll be back !

Loved that it was right on the lake. Loved the layout. Loved the nice touches like different flavoured coffees, teas. Kids loved the bathbombs, hammock, guitars and kayaks. Shame it rained most of the time and there is no undercover area outside to sit and enjoy the view but could still enjoy from inside. We had a great stay!

We had a great few days at Cudgeree Bay Lakehouse. Perfect for unwinding and relaxing, the location and facilities were exactly what we needed for a family mini break in summer. The sunsets were are a highlight. Our Pomeranian loved snuffling around the fully fenced backyard. We will definitely be back again.

Outdoor area is very dark once the sun goes down but they have fairy lights and a light sensor outside which was comforting.
The beach is only about a 10min walk away.
Had a lot of nice small touches like bathroom amenities (soap, toothbrush etc), coffee / tea), olive oil for cooking. They set up the oven so you could bake things in a foil tray which was nice.
The property is on a main road (still not very many cars) but once you close the gates it feels very secure and safe.
The bad:
Utensils have seen better days
Dishwasher had a weird smell
Couch - in comparison to the beds - was not great and had seen better days.
TV kept dropping out but turning it off and on seemed to do the trick.
This property is a 10/10 even with the minor issues I had, I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, relaxing getaway.

When we arrived at the location, we were astounded at how clean the house was and the lakeside view right outside the living room, the amenities were fantastic and the place was exactly the same as the photos posted online. The beach was also a 5 minute walk from the house. Overall very pleased with the stay.

The property in Windang was perfect for our large family that stayed for over a week. It had all the usual ameneties for living comfortably. We also got to experience fishing off the jetty and kayaking with the equipment provided.
The bus stop directly outside allowed easy access to Wollongong.

Definitely would book again and added along with my accomodation list, the house itself was just beautiful inside and out, the view was just immaculate and you didn’t have to worry about cooking or travelling too far to the shops as there was cooking accessories available and the shops only 5 or 2 minutes to drive to, the instructions to check in was real simple and easy, a nice bonfire set up was provided with a big container full of logs and a big backyard to play some games with your family, it gets more active when you find a bunch of kayaks on the side of the house with fishing gear and some bait provided, communication with our host Debbie was brilliant and would respond within an hour, the house was that good my group and I didn’t want to go out on a Saturday night and wanted to use up the accommodation, once again I would definitely book here again.

Although we visited during some severe weather, our stay was good. The property has great views and would be very relaxing in calmer weather. The road is busy and fast paced but the house is numbered clearly so you have enough warning to pull into the driveway.

Spent a lovely fortnight with my husband and two dogs. Property met all our needs and more. Secure backyard with views of the lake. A wide range of tea, coffee offerings on arrival really helped as we arrived late in the night. Close to the beach and shops. Lots of space for the dogs to run around and secure backyard. We’ll be back!

Lovely Weekend
We were a small group (5 people - a couple with a dog & couple with a teenager and a dog) and had a wonderful long weekend. The weather was glorious so the house was easily maximized. The view from the two double bed rooms and the living area is beautiful. The only issue from our end was that the third bedroom (with the bunks) is on the road side so quite noisy, although our teen slept easily!). The dogs had a great time!

Perfect holiday and spectacular views
Tops our list in terms of location, amenities and things to do for adults and teens. We stayed with our dog and friends and their children. Both front and back of the lake house are fenced. Spectacular view from all main rooms plus access to recreational fishing, kayaking, cycling and walking makes it special for a great weekend getaway or planned holiday. We are coming back.

Great, secure property in beautiful location
We stayed for 3 nights with our two dogs. We had such a nice time. The property is really lovely with a nice kitchen and cute styling touches, but the highlight was the backyard and the view for sure! Our dogs were safe and secure which gave us peace of mind. It’s also pretty close to Wollongong so we could travel around that area. Thank you again, we hope to pop back someday.

Great house + Great views + Great location = Great Holiday
This was such a wonderful place to have a holiday and being able to have the labradors with us was magic. The dogs enjoyed the backyard just as much as we enjoyed sitting back and watching lake Illawarra come to life in the morning and then relaxing in front of the fire pit as the sun is going down over the escarpment and then the light show begins with the moon and the night sky together with the lights of the towns on the other side of the lake. The best part was we could see all of this from the bedrooms and in the comfort of our very comfortable beds. Having an automatic driveway gate meant peace of mind as we unloaded the dogs from the car and in general loading and unloading of our cars with our gear. The bonus was that the labs had another area to explore. We appreciated the little treats left for us to enjoy and the generous extras that was left to make our daily chores easy. A warm safe cosy home atmosphere with total privacy. Can't wait to return!
