About this house rental
This modern, craftsman-style home is in the heart of Whitefish, Montana. It offers guests a rare and useful experience – a perfect blend of historical character, modish amenities, and walking-distance conveniences for up to 8 people.
While the D.N.A. of this idyllic small-town neighborhood home dates back to 1905, the year that the City of Whitefish was first incorporated, you'll be delighted to find a refreshing newness and the most-requested guest amenities make this a one of a kind Montana vacation rental.
There is a large Master Bedroom on the main floor with a king-sized Tempurpedic bed, spacious en suite bathroom, and, yep, even a private sauna room. Upstairs, you will find two (2) roomy bedrooms, each with queen-sized beds and one bedroom with two twin beds.
When it comes to location and downtown conveniences, our home is one of the most sought-after short-term vacation rentals (less than 30-day rentals) operating within the city limits, providing guests “just off main street” access to downtown Whitefish.
So, take a stroll - it's less than a 2-minute walk from our home to beloved downtown restaurants, coffee shops, bars, eateries, and other local experiences. Less driving and more enjoying after a long day of skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking, or biking.
Chillax with our hottest amenities, including a covered front porch, fireplace, hot tub, and sauna.
Our covered front porch with rocking chairs and a swing offers an ideal place to hang out for sunrises or shaded afternoon retreats with family or friends. It's a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee from our Keurig Coffee Maker, sip a local craft brew, or an ice cream treat from Sweet Peaks, a local favorite, within eyeshot of our porch.
A fenced and private backyard features a large outdoor deck complete with a B.B.Q., a new dining table & chairs, and the built-in hot tub and benches will greet you after a day of local activities! Ultimate relaxation for that complete backyard experience!
If you decide to hit the road, this home base is the perfect launchpad for your Montana outdoor adventures. It's only 7 miles to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, 1 mile to Whitefish Lake, 12 Miles to Glacier Park International Airport, or 20 miles to Glacier National Park.
If you need a place to park, don't worry, we have spots for everyone with free on-street parking next to the house and 2 private parking spots behind the house.
You can also jump on the S.N.O.W. Bus a couple of blocks away at the Train Depot bus stop in the summer or winter to catch a ride to/from Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Other noteworthy amenities:
Keyless entry
Remote-controlled gas fireplace
High-Speed Internet
Record player and a stack of vintage vinyl albums!
Washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets, ironing board, iron, and duster are all in our laundry room for your convenience.
We've got you covered with plenty of large beach towels for bathrooms, sauna, and hot tub!
Keurig Duo Coffee Maker - individual cups or a carafe of your favorite blend
All the kitchenware, table settings, serving dishes, and cooking utensils you'll need to serve up a gourmet feast.
All new high-efficiency windows, with window screens, if you need some fresh air at night
Yours for the picking in our backyard – delicious apple or plum trees
Portable fans for those who need some white noise or a light breeze
It's not a tornado; since 1919, it's the City of Whitefish's long-time tradition of blowing a curfew siren at 10:00 PM each night.
We have a 60-day cancellation policy. More than 60 days' notice a full refund minus $100 administrative fee. Less than 60 days, no refunds.

Our family of 7 stayed for a week, while skiing four days at Whitefish Mountain Resort. The house, the skiing, the town of Whitefish and the weather were great! The house is two short blocks to downtown restaurants and shopping. The house is very clean. We cooked some meals in the full size and well stocked kitchen, and enjoyed the outdoor hot-tub and indoor sauna each night. It was great having four bedrooms and two and one half baths. And an ice cream shop is only a short block walk for an after dinner treat. The hosts were very responsive. We hope to return. Whitefish is beautiful in all seasons. We arrived and departed by Amtrak. The Amtrak station is about 5 blocks from the house. 5 stars!!

Overall the house was great! We loved the location, we were able to walk to shops and restaurants with ease. The kitchen had everything we needed. The doors upstairs are very noisy and we often woke up the rest of the house when opening or closing them. Other than that we had a great stay!

Over all it was the perfect home and location for our family, plenty of space in the home, kitchen well equipped and great location. There is one negative to our stay and that was there was major construction happening at the back of the house in the alley, which made it impossible to use during the work day and that you didn't inform me that this was going to occur during our stay.

Great space, very clean. Convenient location for walking around town, access to the lake, and Glacier National Park. The record player was a nice touch and the hot tub was cozy when it cooled down at night.

Four longtime friends from Minnesota planned a ski trip. It took multiple happy hours and a named text group to coordinate and land on our destination. All have been on larger ski trips and agreed we’re grown ass adults and deserve to each have our own space vs. sharing a room or putting someone on a couch.
This house was perfect. The relaxing hot tub provides a venue for turning Apres cocktails into storytelling and solving for life’s most important challenges. Proximity to walkable downtown and cannabis shop makes for a safe and convenient nightlife. Oh yes, the very short drive to the mountain led to some of the best ski days we’ve had in years. Quality skiing is a welcome bonus to a much needed reunion and well earned break from everyday life.

We loved the property and it’s location. It was the getaway we all needed! Rooms are very comfortable and we loved the bedding. The couches could be more comfortable but we honestly didn’t use them much. The upstairs rooms can get a little warm, but there are plug in fans to help with that. Management was great when we needed some help getting the hot tub warmer, they had it fixed in under an hour. Overall, we had a fantastic stay! We will be back !

Perfect spot for a guys ski trip to Whitefish. ALL of downtown Whitefish is easily walkable from this home. 10 minute drive to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Hot tub was great after skiing. I have never seen such a well equipped kitchen!! Every pot/pan, tool you could need is there. Enough beds for 5 people to have their own.

Perfect space and great location. Its an old home with creeks when you walk on the floors. AC doesn’t really reach the upper 3 bedrooms well.

Practically perfect, super cute house with tons of character, great location and very well stocked with everything we needed. The only minor drawbacks were the master bed was a little too soft (but we like a very firm bed), and upstairs got a bit warm at night, but opening the windows cooled it down well.
