The house was able to accommodate the max amount of people comfortably. It was clean and they had easy clear instructions when using the hot tub, elevator, and checking out. The only con was having to contact them to clear out the trash bin from those who stayed prior but they were able to handle it quickly.

Matterhorn was billed as a luxury property. It certainly is not. The beds were not made, no fitted sheets were even provided. The linens were hospital quality. Everyone was looking forward to the hot tub, too bad it was filthy and unusable. The furnishings and kitchen were rudimentary. No instructions were available for turning on the fireplaces, and we had difficulty locking the door (mgmt company was aware, they just didn’t tell us about it). We paid over $8k for 3 nights and drove 10 hours for this very disappointing property.

My family and I spent a weekend at this amazing property and we had a great time. We were truly appreciative of the kitchen appliances and the utensils, there were of good quality and everything was adequate, this meant a lot to us. The environment, furniture and overall was well kept. If you need to feel at home in a relaxing environment this is a great place. YOU WON’T FEEL CHEATED

This house was perfect! We were a group of 17 ranging in age from 75 years young to 4 months old. There was enough room for everyone to spread out. The house was clean, warm, and inviting; exactly as pictured. The beds were really comfortable!

Family reunion
Our overall experience was positive. Rooms were clean and provided privacy for each family. The house was spacious and this allowed interaction among family members without feeling cramped. The only minor issues which obviously were not deal breakers were the lack of water pressure in the showers on the 3rd floor bathrooms, and one of the dishwashers that had some left-over solid food left in the drain which did not get cleaned by the previous occupants and also by the cleaning crew.
We hope that the house is kept in this good condition if not better, as we plan on coming back in the near future.

Great place for a spacious family gettogether
We wanted a large comfortable place to spend time together.
Elderly siblings with their families. Everything we needed was there. Easy run for groceries too. Hot tub a hit . Fire pit saw a lot of use. Convenient for the hikes also.

Family Reunion
Great place for 19 people of all ages. Well equipped, good sound isolation, and like that. We usually do this on the Outer Banks, and The Matterhorn was as nice as anything we've rented down there.
One nit. Having to make your own bed when you arrive is a pain.

Family Vacation
Loved that we had 3 floors of space. We hosted a total family vacation and were thrilled we could all eat together in the spacious 2nd floor kitchen/dining/great room. The fire pit and hot tub were popular hang out spots as well. Location was perfect for spotting deer.

Amazing property
The property is really beautiful and well cared for. Every detail is thought of. The sound proofing is great which is important for the house with large groups and those who are staying with children. The communication was quick and responses are detailed. We are hoping to come back and visit again.

Bets rental in the Poconos for a large group.
The house was in perfect order and our group loved it! Owner showed up to say hello. This place is far above any others we have rented in the Poconos. Tips: Bring firewood and swim shorts.
