About this house rental
Timbara is a short flat 5 minute walk to two beaches, one of which is dog friendly.
We have 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and have an open plan living area with a large alfresco deck with lovely views across the bay.
We are located in Surfside which is a quiet part of town and are a short 20 minute walk into the CBD on a cement footpath and over the new bridge.
We have a Mini IGA with a bottle shop a short 5-minute walk away.
We are on a large securely fenced 850 sqm block of land which is completely flat and offers loads of car parking and boat storage space.
We have an all inclusive rate which includes cleaning and linen and our linen is provided by Blissfull Bedding

Beautiful - our favourite part was being able to take my elderly mother and her little dog! The dog beach was so close and we spent hours there each day!

The house is newly renovated and very well provisioned. The o oh issue for us was that The master bedroom had a damp smell which unfortunately triggered my asthma.

The property was clean, spacious, well-equipped, very close to a dog-friendly beach and cycle path. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We had a very enjoyable week.

A lovely newish/newly refurbished property close to shops, the beach and spots to fish.
We found everything we needed at the property to make ourselves at home and relax for a few days.
Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful house will all the modern conveniences. Very clean. Linen/bath towels provided makes the stay easy for a quick departure. Loved the huge deck and watching the sunset. Only downside was the backyard was not dog proofed due to neighbour taking down their shed. Michelle was very empathetic and came up with some solutions to keep our dogs contained. Would recommend to family and friends to stay. We had a wonderful long weekend. Thanks Michelle!

Timbara was lovely. Great view of the water and a fantastic outside deck serving as another living area. Sadly the house could have had a bit more of a deep clean, and there was only 1 toilet roll and 1 tea towel upon our arrival. We believe there may have also been an animal living in the roof or chimney. Garden was nice and secure for our dog and the pantry was well stocked with staples (+ more). It really was however a perfect 1 week holiday for our family this summer.

This property has everything you need. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, amazing views, walk to the beach. Michelle the property owner was incredible. I would give this holiday home a 10/10.

We had a wonderful experience in Michelle’s home. The property was directly across from the dog beach which our doggies LOVED! Michelle was easily contactable and responded straight away if we had any questions. The house was very clean with all the amenities that we needed! We spent very relaxed evenings on the beautiful deck, overlooking the beach. Thank you Michelle for a wonderful stay!

The house is in a central location and is situated in a quiet street. It had all the amenities you could want. The luxury of a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, wood heater (with wood supplied) and coffee machine was fabulous!
As a Family of Six, the selection of board games entertained us at night.
The balcony with a magnificent view, BBQ and Outdoor Seating was magical and enjoyable morning, noon and night.
Michelle communicated with us before, during and after our stay. She was very lovely and helpful and answered any questions I had within 24hours.
The information leaflets and menus at the house were very handy and informative.
Baz from the Surfside Grocery/Takeaway Shop (in walking distance) cooks the best burgers you will ever eat, the battered fish was just next level delicious, has the yummiest milkshakes and decadent Caramel Slices. Plus he stocks all your grocery/alcohol necessities at a reasonable and competitive price.
We would highly recommend you stay at this house - you will not be disappointed!!

Great place for family holiday
Michelle's property has been perfect for our family. There are lots of things to do in the area (bush walking, kayaking, fishing, bike riding), and a couple of great sea food places to eat. Michelle has made it so easy for us to check in and check out. The house was spotless and has everything you need. The upstairs deck area is fantastic. Wonderful holiday home
We stayed at Michelle's over Christmas with our family, baby and cat! The house was so comfortable and clean, and all the small details - including pantry extras and an ornamental christmas tree - made our stay even better. Even though the summer sun was fleeting, we managed to enjoy the verandah, BBQ and outdoor lawn, as well as the beach which was a 2 min walk away. Great stay, thanks Michelle :)

Great experience overall, LOVED the house, nicely renovated and modern and extremely well equipped.
Great gas stove, large oven, all kitchen accessories you could need.
Lots of space for large groups, great entertaining deck and firepit. Nearby takeaway shop is perfect with all the basics, good takeaway and liquor.
Lounges are very comfortable, with two reclining seats, many soft blankets supplied and Telstra TV.

Nice stay
We thoroughly enjoyed the 4 nights stay in this cosy place. Sitting in the quiet community, the house is nice and clean and full of facilities. The deck is huge with beautiful views of grassland and the ocean. I spent lots of time reading my favourite novel on the deck with heater on when temperature dropped. The nature of the sound in the backyard made me relax even further. Our lovely cavoodle enjoyed the place inside out, especially the backyard. He often explored the garden and enjoyed his holiday too. A short drive to the local town gave us access to everything. Overall, my families are very satisfied with the stay. Though the weather wasn't in favor of us, we had lots of activities in the house such as playing chess, cards, many books to read etc. It was a truly relaxed holiday.
Best of all is the host Michelle who is welcoming and caring. Booking process was so smooth and Michelle was very responsive. Our plan changed from 5 night stay (as minimum) to 4 due to unforseen event. Michelle thoughtfully made adjustment for us. It was down pouring when we left this morning. Michelle sent us a warm msg wishing us a safe driving home. That made our experience even better. A highly recommended holiday retreat!

Great Location
So spacious and it is the first property I've stayed that has everything. There's enough toilet roll for six of us in the four days. There's enough cutlery etc. We were there when the weather was wet but we were able to make use of the beautiful verandah and enjoy the water view. Love it.

The house was so comfortable and our lovely host Michelle was very helpful when we needed help with the internet.Fantastic area for our dogs ! Our old 16 yr old Whippet slept on the lovely deck in the sun and our 16 month old Spoodle enjoyed the dog - friendly beach just across the road ! We had a really relaxing 7 days ! Thanks Michelle xx

Peaceful and relaxing
The house was so comfortable and our lovely host Michelle was very helpful when we needed help with the internet.Fantastic area for our dogs ! Wonderful New Years family holiday
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property, location was great, the house had everything we needed and even a little more, like clean towels and basic pantry items that we usually would have to pack and bring ourselves. Only negative we found at the property is the huge amount of spiderwebs & spiders outside all over the house and all around the windows (some family members have a huge fear of spiders) we couldn’t open any windows as they would have come inside.
Other than that the house was relatively clean & hassle free!
